After mother Burrowing Owl lifted her wing to show her owlets that that this is her wing used for flying, This was the response by the owlet. See previous photo in my photo stream.

Barred Owl, also known as the northern barred owl, striped owl or, hoot owl. No need to travel two hours now. I went five minutes up the road to have this beauty pose for two minutes before it turned around and flew. Taken at 7:02 a.m. Bucks County PA.
