Wonderful early 20th Century architecture in a nearby town.
I too live in a house with steep gables and I find these homes around West Michigan so appealing.
Thank you so much for your visit!
One of four new squirrels..Nicki's babies...they are busy finding food for themselves this week and slowly getting used to me, so I set some things outdoors for them to explore.
So there's a story that goes with this photo. One of our family members likes to tell people that the first time he met us, we greeted him at the door with bats in our hands! It's entirely untrue, but he's told the story so many times, that I figured maybe it was time to make his lies reality and welcome him home properly. This one is for you, Tyler. =P
Hope you all enjoy!

Such delicate flowers and such a beautiful shade of red – having passed this shrub many times I suddenly noticed it and have now been back many times to enjoy its beauty.

This Northern Mockingbird "welcomed" Northerners (my wife and I) to southern Florida for two weeks of bird photography. I took about 1200 photos (already deleted about 250 of them hahaha), so I hope to have new pictures to post for awhile.
