A night capture of El Batel Auditorium and Conference Centre in Cartagena (Murcia, Spain), built in 2011 it's a state-of-the art building, based on the marine traditions of the city. Its location next to the port and sea, influence the design.
The exterior is dominated by straight lines, similar to the containers of the boats stacked in the docks, the straightness of the edge of the port and the calm of the surrounding sea.
The complex structure, characterised by the absence of pillars, creates an interior with large open areas and bright effect, reminiscent of the weightlessness of the deep sea.
The interior is a bright, translucent and delicate space which is connected by a walkway of gentle ramps which take us around the whole building.
The grandeur and luminosity of the interiors make El Batel Auditorium and Conference Centre an airy building which transmits the harmony and serenity of a calm sea.
The surroundings of the building, decorated with spruce boards and varied vegetation, comprises a leisure area which allows us to enjoy the seafront promenade.

she was lying on the old city wall, folded into herself, her arm across her stomach like a quiet anchor. below, the parc del mar shimmered in heat, above her, weightless but monumental, floated la seu — the cathedral of palma. her breath was slow, matching the rhythm of the sea behind the wall, as if she had paused time for a moment only she could own.
That relaxed buzz of total stupidity...weightlessness...almost numbing to the brain and body...still hot..embers burning..but a cool refreshing satisfaction washes over...white hot..glowing..

Space is wall to wall packed with the gravity. Without gravity, everything would be just pseudo off in straight line like there would be no galaxy, no solar system, and the planet.
And in that case, the universe would be a supremely boring place.
To know the exact reason for the presence of gravity in space, first, know how gravity works-
We know the Isaac Newton equation which has three variables; masses of two objects, the distance between them, and force F itself; which we called gravity along with gravitation constant G.
And that equation is F = Gm1m2/r2
Here f is the gravitational force, M and m are the masses of the two objects, and r is the distance between them.
So according to this equation, the force of gravitation between two objects depends upon the masses of the two objects and distance between them. By increasing or decreasing the distance between them you can change the effect of gravitation.
As the distance increase, the effects of gravitation force decreases and vice versa.
“Force of gravitation can’t be Zero, it does not matter how much the distance between the objects, it means, there is no such a place in the universe where you will not feel the effects of gravity of any object, you will feel, it may be negligible”
If Yes, Why Do Astronauts Float in Space?
On the International Space Station which is around 370Km above the earth’s surface, there is also plenty of gravity which is around 90% of the gravity of earth. (Rotating speed of international space station is 26,800 km/hr)
Indeed without that gravity, it would fly off from the orbit. Due to this gravity, it is stuck in the orbit of earth and not falling and not going away from the earth orbit.
Interestingly astronauts in the space station are not weightless instead they are falling but they are not falling to the earth because they are falling with the speed of gravity while moving horizontally enough to continuously miss the earth.
Rather of nose-diving towards the earth, they are plummeting around the earth, that what we called an orbit just like the wind in a plane like you do not feel moving 700 miles/hr like that astronauts also not feel but from the earth, we can see them moving with that speed.
Astronauts already have done their required acceleration and are moving with constant speed. And they feel like weightless and motionless in the reference from the inside of the spacecraft.
The same thing can be experienced in a plane that is moving towards the earth with the same acceleration as gravity. In your frame of reference inside the aircraft you feel that you are floating in the space but from the earth, it would like that you are crashing towards the earth at terrible speed.
Every object in the plane will start floating because everything inside the plane feels the same gravity.

Is There Gravity in Space? If Yes, Why Do Astronauts Float in Space?
First of all the answer to this question is, YES, there is gravity in the space. There no region in the space where you can say that there is no gravity. Now, let’s elaborate on it…
Is There Gravity in Space?
Space is wall to wall packed with the gravity. Without gravity, everything would be just pseudo off in straight line like there would be no galaxy, no solar system, and the planet.
And in that case, the universe would be a supremely boring place.
To know the exact reason for the presence of gravity in space, first, know how gravity works-
Range of Gravity
We know the Isaac Newton equation which has three variables; masses of two objects, the distance between them, and force F itself; which we called gravity along with gravitation constant G.
And that equation is
F = Gm1m2/r2
Here f is the gravitational force, M and m are the masses of the two objects, and r is the distance between them.
So according to this equation, the force of gravitation between two objects depends upon the masses of the two objects and distance between them. By increasing or decreasing the distance between them you can change the effect of gravitation.

In your frame of reference inside the aircraft you feel that you are floating in the space but from the earth, it would like that you are crashing towards the earth at terrible speed.
Every object in the plane will start floating because everything inside the plane feels the same gravity.
Understand with simple Example
Let’s take a simple example to assume there are only two things in the universe, Elon Musk red Tesla Roadster (That one which is currently in the space) and planet earth.
And the distance between Car and the earth is billions of light-years.
Then due to the gravitational force between red Tesla Roadster and earth one day red Tesla Roadster will definitely fall inside the planet it may take time more than the age of the universe but one-day, Musk Car will definitely fall inside the earth.
Conclusion:
Now again come to the Isaac Newton equation, it does not matter how apart things are, gravitation force of any objects always exist, that force never goes to zero.
It means every object in the universe is constantly attracting other objects no matter how far they are.

Weightless in the blue sky
It all began innocent and shy
Sun and water
Light, in abundance he brought her
Unstoppable words and thoughts
He whispered her name
Next to love, convinced
That they were the same
Let it rain
Let it rain
Restless in her dark dreams
Where nothing is what it seems
Thunder and lightning
Tossing and turning
Longing for the stars
Two hearts ignite an eternal flame
In blue she sees red
‘Wake up -before you go insane'
Let it rain
Let it rain.
Pearl earrings
Swimming, weightless beneath water
Dreaming, wild and free
In the arms of a generous lover
One incomplete without the other.
Every image we create, we hope our vision comes to life, our inner voice is heard, our soul discovered. It is a reflection of who we are without using words. A lifelong journey of discovering our most inner thoughts and feelings. Photography allows me to move further than my body ever could.
My unforgettable summer.
july 28th
flying is one of the greatest feelings in the world. there is nothing greater than the feeling of weightlessness at six am, watching the sun slowly rise over the clouds. it all feels like a dream. i want to live in a dream state, with the sound of my music blasting through my headphones. i could live like this - roadtrips at the crack of dawn, traveling from place to place with no destination in mind, taking pictures of everything and everyone and not caring at all. no words can describe this - there is so much beauty around me. everything is perfect, no thinking, no nothing. all i need to do is breathe. i love this.
i never got to thank her for such a lovely testimonial :)
This wonderful installation at the rear of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is the work of Jeff Koons (York, Pennsylvania, 1955). It depicts a bunch of 7 tulips about 5 metres long as large luminescent balloons, conveying a feeling of weightlessness.
'Gold dreams
She wonders up the old granite steps of the enchanted gardens laying peacefully near the old tree in the soft tender lush green pastures she slowly drifts to sleep transported into gold dreams. Her book and brush become weightless slowly float away brushing numbers of crisp autumal leaves gently drifting through the wind and air echoing and receding in harmony with her inner music with grace so tender delicate glistening with the warmth of sun's rays the crisp autumnal leaves turns to gold as the birds flock singing their final hums the sky turns peach gently glowing with luninosity as the warm ethereal light transcends to leave the feelings of peace and serenity as freedom resides here ...'

A quiet connection unfolds between earth and sky. The tree, crowned with delicate pink blossoms, seems to exhale a breath so light it takes form—a drifting cloud, rising and dissolving into the endless blue. For a moment, the boundary between the rooted and the weightless disappears, as if the tree itself is reaching beyond, becoming part of the sky.
This image is a meditation on impermanence, on the silent harmony between the fleeting and the grounded. In its simplicity, it whispers of the unseen threads that bind all things, reminding us that even the most delicate presence can leave an imprint on the infinite.
Like this sea otter, I feel the most happy in water. Floating soothes and centres me. Gravity disappears as I glide weightless in a heavenly bliss. I feel powerful as I train, stroking boldly through the blue. Playful days frolicking bring carefree joy. I feel peace and harmony.

How long do you think it takes to dream away a lifetime?
and how long's a lifetime of dreams, anyway?
sometimes, time away finds a demulcent cure the higher it can climb
as the niggling grounded negativity's are gradually whittled away
and so our current climate strode across fields of dreams thus
a world became Heaven-sent, peaceable in it's Spring routine
the misconstrued shadows from passing flames now readjusts
we become the light of the positive's plucked from everything between
the sunrise peak of bringing sanity into the nightmare of society's darkness
an appeasement of stranded thoughts, now let free upon the purifying air
Hades appears invisible to touch, thank Heavens for this grace of apartness
such a habitation no longer prevails in the lightness of current prayer
Winter austerity is now gone making way for the gentler step of Spring
launching the Summer Sun de-robing as we speak
Her nudity is it's true purity of honesty, integrity and the harvest She will bring
the historical Apollo or Ra's midday shining over the climate change we seek
it's the heir, the apparent routine of seeing life afresh near or far
a daily deity is once in a lifetime, avenging anger through the eyes of experience
the chance at last to leave demersal nags behind and discover who we really are
inhale your weightless hopes borne unto the beautiful surrounds of natural consilience.

My hands, your hands tight up, like two ships drifting, weightless, waves try to break it. I do anything, to save it. My heart, your heart sit tight, like bookends. Pages between us written with no end. So many words we're not saying. Don't wanna wait, till it's gone. Think of, how much love that's been wasted. People always try to escape it. Move on, to stop their heart breaking, but there's nothing I'm running from. So baby hold on to my heart, need you, to keep me from falling apart. I'll always hold on, 'cause you make me strong. I'm sorry, if I say, "I need you", but I don't care, I'm not scared of love. 'Cause, when I'm not with you I'm weaker. Is that so wrong? Is it so wrong? That you make me strong...

19 In My Lightness, I felt Weightless and Floated Blissfully by Sandra Crisante
In this sculpture, I incorporate found and sourced materials, both natural and mechanical, as well as papier mache elements and a limited palette. Flight and soaring are key in the whimsical-bird-like winged figure which conveys the ability to stay grounded to one’s self, even while taking flight.
sunlight carves the alley like a blade, and a lone silhouette drifts along the seam of light and darkness—weightless, anonymous, poetic. a meditation on form, rhythm, and fleeting moments in the heat of the city.
The harvest mouse is the only British mammal to have a prehensile tail: it can use it like a fifth limb, holding on to grass stems with it.
The little mouse weighs about the same as a 2p coin, and she can walk over the spiky tease head without feeling pain
From above the cloud deck, the Deben feels like a boundary between two moods. Up here the light is clean and cold, the air looks almost weightless, and the winter sun turns the top of the cloud into a bright, billowing shoreline. Below, Woodbridge and the fields along the valley sit in shadow, softened and half-hidden, as if the town has been tucked under a blanket of quiet.
What catches the eye is the river itself. The River Deben winds through the darkness like a strip of polished metal, flaring white where it reflects the sun. In places you can sense the shape of the estuary—broadening and narrowing, with pale mudflats and sinuous channels that hint at the tide’s constant reworking of the landscape. Even when the land feels subdued, the water insists on being seen.
Woodbridge has always belonged to this river. It is a place shaped by tide and trade, by boats and shipwrights, by the steady practical rhythm of moving goods and people along a sheltered Suffolk waterway. Nearby, on higher ground above the Deben, Sutton Hoo holds its older story—an Anglo-Saxon burial from around the seventh century, uncovered in the 1930s, a reminder that this “quiet” landscape has carried power and meaning for a very long time. On the waterfront, the tide mill speaks to a different kind of ingenuity, drawing work and light from the sea’s pulse.
This is what winter can do: divide the world into layers. Above, a luminous calm. Below, the familiar grey that waits for you to return. Yet the river threads them together, a bright, living line that makes even the dark land look inhabited, held and quietly beautiful.

Life has a way of pulling us in countless directions—its rhythm often loud, relentless, and overwhelming. In the middle of this chaos, quiet moments become not just desirable, but essential, grounding us when everything else feels unsteady.
Meditation and stillness offer a sanctuary—a chance to retreat into silence and reconnect with ourselves. Even just a few minutes of quiet can soothe the mind, reduce stress, and spark fresh perspective. The beauty of meditation lies not in escaping the world, but in re-entering it with calm and focus.
Whether it's a quiet corner of your home, a bench in a sunlit park, or the meditative glow of a candlelit room, having a dedicated space for restoration creates a powerful invitation to pause. It reminds us that we have permission to step away, to breathe deeply, and to simply be.
In these moments, we’re reminded that renewal doesn’t have to be grand or elaborate—it thrives in simplicity. A quiet walk, the hum of nature, or the soft cadence of a cat’s purr can replenish us in ways that go beyond words. Taking time to renew isn’t a luxury; it’s an act of care that enables us to move through life with resilience, purpose, and a sense of presence.

I don’t need to go to California
I don’t wanna to see another sunset in LA
I used to need a getaway before ya
But now you’re here and I just wanna stay
I’m loving every part of it
I can say I’m confident
I’ve never felt this way
Now I’m feeling weightless
Five feet off of the pavement
Yeah you got me here
In the atmosphere
I’m finding I just wanna stay like this
Weightless
Thought I had it figured out until I saw you
But I was missing something till the day you came around
I was holding onto all those expectations
Till you put me in the clouds
I’m loving every part of it
I can say I’m confident
I’ve never felt this way
Now I’m feeling weightless
Five feet off of the pavement
Yeah you got me here
In the atmosphere
I’m finding I just wanna stay like this
Weightless
I don’t need to go to California
I don't miss that beach in LA
I got you here
I got you here
And I just wanna stay
Now I’m feeling weightless
Five feet off of the pavement
Yeah you got me here
In the atmosphere
I’m finding I just wanna stay like this
Weightless
it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction, oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

She was alone, isolated stayed hidden beneath the dark corners of the earth . Her heart sinking through her body for she could see nothing but the pitch black darkness. The air began leaving her every breath as she became enveloped in
the darkest shadows , smouldering smoke. The sky's burning above in the dark hazy mist a lost soul she is with no home as she once knew , nowhere to go as trees began to die, creatures life as she once knew no longer existed. A voice deep within the corners of earths strong roots spoke to out to her bringing her warmth and comfort enveloped with silent whisper!!. Was it her alter ego, an angel or messenger? The messenger gave her strength and hope as her inner voice grew stronger. She was becoming !! Her soul lights up through her body transcends through out time and space as numbers of hands ethereal leave her lips weightless bodiless floating , drifting through the wind and air gently carrying her into the light through unity leaving her strength and hope!! .... Freedom resides here....

It is always easy to say: "Stay calm when you've found something is going on."
.
But actually it should be said .....
"Touch my mind and I will think of you ... touch my heart and I will never forget you." by unknown
.
But actually it should not be said ...
"All the times that I cried, keeping all the things I knew inside, It's hard, but it's harder to ignore it." by Cat Stevens
.
But actually it should be stated like the ocean ...Because: "The least movement is of importance to all nature. The entire ocean is affected by a pebble." by Blaise Pascal
Therefore,...."Time can bring you down, Time can bend your knees, Time can break your heart, Have you begging please, Begging please," by Eric Clapton
BUT:
"Spend all your time waiting, For that second chance, For a break that would make it okay, There’s always one reason, To feel not good enough, And it’s hard at the end of the day, I need some distraction, Oh beautiful release, Memory seeps from my veins, Let me be empty, And weightless and maybe, I’ll find some peace tonight" by Sarah Mclachlan
.
Conclusion: "I will be the answer, At the end of the line, I will be there for you, While you take the time
In the burning of uncertainty, I will be your solid ground, I will hold the balance, If you can't look down,
If it takes my whole life, I won't break, I won't bend, It will all be worth it, Worth it in the end, Cause I can only tell you what I know, That I need you in my life, When the stars have all gone out, You'll still be burning so bright, Cast me gently, Into morning, For the night has been unkind, Take me to a
Place so holy, That I can wash this from my mind, The memory of choosing not to fight" by Sarah Mclachlan

ESA-sponsored medical doctor Nick Smith snapped this photo of the storage containers at Concordia research station in Antarctica shortly before sunset, 8 April 2021. The dark blue line at the horizon is the shadow of the Earth.
The containers store food, recycling and the scientific samples of blood, saliva, and stool that Nick routinely takes. The units on the right are part of the summer camp, during which researchers sleep in tents.
Science for the benefit of space exploration does not only happen off planet. While some studies require the weightless isolation of the International Space Station, Antarctica also provides the right conditions for investigating the consequences of spaceflight, and it is a little easier to access than space.
Part of the 17th crew to spend an entire year at one of the most remote bases in the world, Nick and 11 other crew members have taken up the adventurous challenge in the backdrop of a pandemic to continue important research that is furthering space exploration.
Located at the mountain plateau called Dome C, Concordia is a collaboration between the French Polar Institute and the Italian Antarctic programme, and is one of only three bases that is inhabited all year long.
As well as offering around nine months of complete isolation, Concordia’s location at 3233 m altitude means the crew experience chronic hypobaric hypoxia – lack of oxygen in the brain.
During the Antarctic winter, the crew of up to 15 people also endure four months of complete darkness: the sun disappears from May and is not seen again until late August.
Temperatures can drop to –80°C in the winter, with a yearly average of –50°C. The temperature at the time of this image was -65°C, with wind chill at about -80°C. To put this cold into perspective, it was so cold that the camera battery died within ten minutes.
As a station set in Earth’s harshest space, Concordia is an ideal stand-in for studying the human psychological and physiological effects of extreme cold, isolation and darkness. For the rest of the year, Nick is poking and prodding the crew for samples to study changes in mood, immune systems, blood cells, and gut health.
Follow his adventures on the Chronicles from Concordia blog.

Down to the earth I fell
With dripping wings
Heavy things won't fly
And the sky might catch on fire
And burn the axis of the world
That's why I prefer a sunless sky
To the glittering and stinging in my eyes
I feel so light
This is all I want to feel tonight
I feel so light
Tonight and the rest of my life
Gleaming in the dark sea
I'm as light as air
Floating there breathlessly
When the dream dissolves
I open up my eyes
I realize that
Everything is shoreless sea
A weightlessness is passing over me
Everything is waves and stars
The universe is resting in my arms
