It was one of those afternoons without a breath of wind, and the sky filled the rock pools, and made you feel as if you were walking in the clouds. Weightless again , is by The Handsome Family, who we're going to see in Cardiff tonight, should be superb.
Luckily for Flit, she is an android. Don't worry, she's not going to turn inside out or freeze to death, she is simply in sleep mode floating endlessly through space and time.
I'm sure she'll be fine...

Der Fallturm Bremen ist ein 1990 in Bremen fertiggestellter Fallturm, der vom Zentrum für angewandte Raumfahrttechnologie und Mikrogravitation (ZARM) am Fachbereich Produktionstechnik der Universität Bremen betrieben wird. Just a fun one for Friday. I am still testing positive, unfortunately, although the line is a little fainter than before (still not sure if that means something). Weird symptoms today....felt like my right arm was completely weightless and I was going to faint while I was making coffee after sleeping for 11 hours. Not sure if anyone has experienced that. Still have a very high heart rate when I start to do physical activity all of a sudden (My resting heart rate is around 52 and I'll try to get on my elliptical and it shoots up past 140 bpm). Sore throat and headache are still much better than before, though.

At first, she thought maybe she’d just had
too much chocolate pudding for lunch.
She felt, just a bit blubbery and heavy.
"Maybe I’ll go for a swim and work some of it off
feel a little weightless for awhile."
It didn’t take long before she felt the curious
elongation of her body and a widening
Her skin was much tougher now and..
was that a tail or just a fluke..?
Were all her eyelashes suddenly falling out?
Oh, but how fun to have a blowhole for when
the insanity often gets you down
That rostrum, that baleen started to feel
increasingly natural.
She wasn’t religious but she started to enjoy mass
And the fin couldn’t surely be the ending
of her story.

A monolith of concrete seems to float weightlessly to unknown shores

Fishing is exactly what it looks like this clematis seedhead is doing and fishing is what it felt like I was doing as these weightless seeds danced in front of my camera lens with every hint of a breeze.
Many minutes and leg cramps later I finally caught one fish (photo) that I didn't have to throw back into the water - harrumph!

Für ihre Auftritte benutzt Aljona Voynova Sand aus der Wolga, entnommen nahe ihrer Heimatstadt Samara in Russland. Mit ruhiger Hand und hochkonzentriert, da jede Bewegung das Kunstwerk wieder zerstören kann, lässt sie den erwärmten Sand durch die Finger rieseln, verteilt ihn händeweise über den Tisch, gestaltet kleinste Details. So entstehen in Echtzeit Bilder und Geschichten in einer dünnen Sandschicht, die auf einer von unten beleuchteten Glasplatte scheinbar schwerelos schwebt, kommt und vergeht.

For her performances, Aljona Voynova uses sand from the Volga, taken near her hometown of Samara in Russia. With a steady hand and highly concentrated, since every movement can destroy the work of art again, she lets the heated sand trickle through her fingers, distributes it hand by hand over the table, and creates the smallest details. In this way, images and stories are created in real time in a thin layer of sand, which appears to float weightlessly on a glass plate illuminated from below, coming and going.
