There was some heavy construction works near my apartment in the summer of 2012., so one night I took an opportunity and went for a night photo-session in the middle of the parked machinery. Now, in that location, we have a nice park with fountains. Taken one night in August 2012.

A gloomy day in late autumn and a slow lens means a wide-open aperture, which means no bitingly sharp photos. Here, a few houses in St. Ana villages, near Jastrebarsko, Croatia. Actually not bad sharpness for the long end of a consumer-grade zoom lens. Mid-November 2017.
Taken with Minolta Dynax 7000i film camera and Minolta AF Zoom 35–105mm F3.5–4.5 lens, on post-2014 roll of DM Paradies Action 400 colour negative film. The narrow end of the zoom range, 105mm, wide-open aperture, f/4.5, 1/125 exposure, at box speed, 400 ASA - I took notes.

Forest, or at least the remnants of once pretty dense forest.
The severe storm levelled much of that forest in the late 2013., and then the snow and ice rain finished the trees off. Now, much of that forest is cleared.
Taken 15. 03. 2014.
Taken with Pentax MZ-S camera and Tamron Adaptall-2 24mm F2.5 wide-angle lens, 1/180s, ƒ/4.5, at 200ASA (gotta love cameras that write parameters on film borders!), on new stock of DM Paradies Universal 200 film.
Not bad, visibly better than previous stock - no more violet shadows. Also, this new film is visibly sharper, too...

The Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork (Polish: zamek w Malborku; German: Ordensburg Marienburg) is the largest castle in the world by surface area. It was built in Prussia by the Teutonic Knights, a German Roman Catholic religious order of crusaders, in a form of an Ordensburg fortress. The Order named it Marienburg (Mary's Castle). The town which grew around it was also named Marienburg.
The castle is a classic example of a medieval fortress and, on its completion in 1406, was the world's largest brick castle. UNESCO designated the "Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork" and the Malbork Castle Museum a World Heritage Site in December 1997.

After a year and a half, I finally crossed the international border - I went to visit my friend Goran D in Bihać, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Once there, we went to the abandoned, underground Željava Air Base, specifically, to Runway 32L, the one on the Bosnian side.

A quick trip to Žitnica mountain lodge on Japetić Hill, near my grandparents' house. I decided I don't have the time and the stamina for a hike up the hill, so I went there by car. Next time I will walk, it's no fun driving up the mountain. Apparently, it was quite a busy day at the mountain lodge, even the tables behind the lodge were occupied. Early October 2017.

But I see your true colors
Mais je vois tes vraies couleurs
Shining through
Rayonner
I see your true colors
Je vois tes vraies couleurs
And that's why I love you
Et c'est pour ça que je t'aime
So don't be afraid to let them show
Alors n'aie pas peur de les laisser voir

Winter walk to the lake. The lake was partially frozen, the day was dark and gloomy, and my film is unevenly developed - I'd say, I mixed a bit too strong dilution. Oh well, that's the charm of analogue photography and developing at home.

Bleach Bypass with FILM (not digital filters).
This came up exactly as you see it. Really pleased. Caught the yellow visor on my helmet well.
Eastman Kodak expired Vision2 250D. Shot at 250 with Bessa T and toy M mount body cap pancake lens with fixed focus F/10. There seems to be a sweet spot around 10 to 20 feet with the lens. "pre developed" (still looking for a good term). in PA Rodinal 1:100 for 10 minutes and then cross processed in Kodak Flexicolor C-41 for 3:15 minutes, skip bleach / bypass 2 minute wash, then fixed for 8 minutes continuous agitation in Ilford Hypam rapid fix 1:4.
The raw scan comes up very bronze with some rich earth tone colors, definitely not monochrome. Obviously, the color can be rebalanced in post processing to bring back the original, or better colors. This is fairly easy to do in photoshop and I learned to just let VueScan do it's job and adjust the raw scan image.
The images may be a bit flatter but I find a VERY wide range of saturation to play with when a normal color negative would tip over of blow out. There are some unique "looks" to be had here. The shadows don't bunch up so quickly and it is possible that running it through a B&W developer automatically pushes the film a bit. I usually shoot this film at 125 or so and here it is doing well at 250 for a 20 odd year old roll. My other posts of just bleach bypass have a thinner look and the shadows are lost pretty quick. More to explore.
Reflections of trees in a shallow part of Bundek Lake. May 2018.
Expired slide film - not the best medium to work with. The dynamic range of this scene surpasses the dynamic range of this film by far, I got a strong colour shift, blocked shadows and burnt highlights.
Taken with Pentax MZ-S film camera and Cosina AF Zoom 19–35mm F3.5–4.5 ultra wide-angle lens on very expired Kodak Elite Chrome 200 film. 1/30 exposure, at ƒ/8 and 200ASA, Program mode.
