This shot was taken from a side angle of the statue creating a profile, and the way the light hit the statue gives the illusion that it is actually heaven or whatever the statue is staring at emitting the beam.

I've never been able to really visualize my vague and confusing numberlines, let alone depict them accurately, but this is as close as I've gotten so far.

Numbers 0-9 go from left to right or straight ahead, depending on the angle.

At 10, it starts to go up. 10 is by itself. It's a very weird number- it has a grainy background, and a faint tinge of beige- even though 10 is made of of two white numbers. 100 is the same way, but with even more beige.

11 and 12 are also loners, although I can see them when I'm looking down from a higher number. 11 and 12 are part of their own seperate catagory- when I was little, I could never remember what comes first, and I still have trouble with them when counting backwards. The backgrounds are based on the colors of the numbers.

After 12 we hit the 'normal' teens. They within seeing distance of each other. The background is white, because they start with 1. In the twenties the backgrounds are green, in the thirties they are red- it's (mostly) all neat and predictable, until you hit 100.

This photo was taken with a tilted camera so the statue appears unstable and vulnerable to whatever it is staring at.

I broke my two weeks old lense. It fell on the floor - with my camera. It was in its bag and fell only 40 centimeters - it was enough. On monday we will have a walk to the canon dealer. I am pissed.

I recently went back and deleted most of the photos on my iPhone, but here is a visualization of the 266 photos that remain. Interesting stuff.

Auto-generated with the amazing PhotoStats app on the iPhone. Wish there was something that did a similar analysis of my Flickr photostream...the default Flickr stats seem dull by comparision.

Here you see a view looking in from the main entrance. On the far right you can see the curve of the sphere from the outside. It is made of dark semitransparent projection screen material over a metal superstructure. The blue part just inside of that on the right is a 3d visualization of a brain.
