Not easy to see this ghost sign on the gabled end of a row of shops and flats. It reads Continental Garage, but at some point may have been overwritten with Prince's Garage.

This is the Franco-German Military Cemetery that is about 6½ miles away from Dunkirk. There are also over 300 British graves here and a handful of Commonwealth (Empire) servicemen buried here.
Jean-Baptiste Alexandre Eugéne Giraud, born 11/09/1882, came from Bovillé-Saint-Paul in the west of France where his name is inscribed on a memorial.

AY17 UVM acending Prittlewell Hill, Victoria Avenue on one of the main routes in to central Southend-On-Sea, Essex.

All E-Types are wonderful, but the 4.2 litre Series 1 roadster, like this one, has surely got to be the most desirable.
The Jaguar E-Type, or XK-E, was produced from 1961 until 1975. Developed from the great Jaguar racing cars of the 1950's.
Probably the ultimate sports car of the 1960's.

A lot of history attached to this building reflecting the prosperous periods of Gravesend's past.
The original building on this site was called Town House back in 1573. Rebuilt as The Town Hall in 1764, with major upgrades, including the frontage, added in the 1830's. Enlarged and refurbished again late in the Victorian era.
Now a vibrant multipurpose feature of the very nice High Street.

Some of the 7 Douglas Dakota aircraft that are part of the D-Day Squadron that attended the Flying Festival 2019 at Old Warden Airfield. A lone Piper Super Cub is out of the limelight here.

The Barber Surf Raker being towed behind the John Deere 6220 tractor is able to remove all sorts of debris including syringes and pollution brought in on the tides.
