KX15 EKY outside of its home base at Rayleigh Weir, Essex.
Photo taken through the dirty window of a moving bus, so not the best.
This area alongside the Thames Estuary is now normally refered to as Old Leigh. The building in the distance, past the trees, is the orginal Leigh railway station from 1855. Has been used as a base for a local sailing club for a long time.

Ryanair's EI-GDX on the runway at London-Southend Airport. One of the newer generation of 737's, less than two years old when I took this photograph.
Boeing 737-8AS.
The premises are owned by the National Trust and the business run by Nicholson's.
The building has history going back to 1826. Polychromatic exterior tiles help to give the pub a very distinctive look.
Also know by an older name, The Crown Liquor Saloon.
At 46 Great Victoria Street, Belfast.
A lot of history attached to this section of road that long ago had also been called Broadway and Whitegate Road.
Photo taken early in the day.

The CWGC headstone of George Baxter from the Glider Pilot Regiment, Army Air Corp. This is in the Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery at Oosterbeek and is mainly for the war dead of Operation Market Garden.
From the headstone we can see that George Baxter died on the very first day of the action, Sunday 17th September 1944. 229 glider pilots died in Operation Market Garden. One of the problems was that if the glider was carrying a payload of a heavy weapon and made a hard landing the payload (may be a 17 pounder gun) would break free of its straps and smash through in to the cockpit. Also the landing grounds quickly became cluttered with broken gliders making it difficult to fine a clear landing strip. The Glider Pilot Regiment never totaled more than 2,500 men, about 1,500 pilot, and lost a total of 551 pilots during WW2. So losing 229 in just a few days after 17th September 1944 was a major blow.

Preparing for take off at the Flying Festival 2019 held by the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden Airfield.
The Gladiator MkI took to the sky with ease. Fortunately a fault with the Sea Hurricane was detected at this point and not after take off, so stayed on the ground.

Well protected behind thick hedges, high fences and a secure gated entrance on to the extensive grounds and property is Baker Street Windmill, Orsett, Essex.
Built about 1765 with a later steam mill next to it. The properties are now residential accomodation and appears to have no public access despite a map that I looked at showing a footpath passing right next to the windmill.
Best view is from an elevated section of the A13.
