A major tourist attraction within the Historic Dockyard Chatham, Kent. The interior of the submarine is open for the able bodied to clamber their way through. I did it many years ago, but would not attempt it now.
H.M. Submarine Ocelot is a Oberon Class vessel commissioned in January 1964 and paid off in August 1991.
She was equipped with a stealth diesel engine and some of her mission details are still classified. This was the last warship built at Chatham for the Royal Navy, although a few more warships were built later and supplied to overseas customers.

Pleasing that so many of the Green Goddess vehicles are presented in such good order.
A juvenile deer walking through a stream during a light drizzle in Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand.
Watching the young deer dragging its legs in the water made me think of a youngster dragging his feet and he walks around with his teenage attitude, without a care in the world.

The Messerschmitt Kabinenroller, otherwise marketed as KR200, was in production from 1955 until 1964 powered by a 200cc engine. It was developed from an earlier similar microcar.
DYW 721C displayed at the Festival of Steam and Transport 2019. I don't think that I've seen an HA model of the Viva at a classic car show before. They were very prone to rust if I remember right. Was a fun small car to drive though. Produced from 1963 until replaced in late 1966 by the somewhat more stylish HB model.
Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent.
After so much time finally i got again the good feeling in taking pics, thanks to a great and nice model

Looks to be a huge American influence in this design first sold in 1947. Mainly exported in the early years with UK sales building up more around the 1950-ish era. This beetle-back body styling was replaced in 1953 with a more conventional 3 notch booted version known as the Phase II until replaced again in 1956 by a much more modern design.
With a 3 speed gearbox I would imagine that the optional Laycock Overdrive on second and third gear may well have been very popular. Some interesting estate and commercial variants were also made.
These rather dangerous looking kerbs have appeared in Southend-On-Sea, Essex. Some reports of cars being damaged by them and pedestrians tripping over the additional kerbs already.
The main problem with cycle lanes around the town are that they are very fragmented. They do not join up in a continuous route.
WLT 897 at North Weald Station on the Epping Ongar Railway. Did the round trip from North Weald Station to Epping Central Line Station on this iconic heritage bus.
Only about 3,000 of the original Routemasters were made, but around 1,000 still survive.
Two ghost signs really.
This is in High Street, Canvey Island, Essex. Behind the lettering for Kynoch's Club looks to be the words Cosy Club.
Kynoch was a major ammunition manufacturer from mid Victorian times through to beyond WW2. They had a very large establishment that was called Kynoch Town on the Thameside Essex marshes to the west of Canvey Island. Later called Cory Town and Coryton. A number of people from Canvey Island were employed there.
The Kynoch Club was behind the row of shops in the photo with the sign above the entrance (that still remains) where the vans are parked.

The monument was unveiled in 1938 an has undergone refurbishments in later years. H.R.H. Sunset scene at Varsova Beach, Mumbai.
Varsova is an interesting beach. A steep pile of reclamation rocks gives way to a sandy beach. The beautiful sea view is contrasted by the repulsive amount of refuse and garbage that dots the beach.
Families of migrant workers waiting in Ludhiana, Punjab to be medically screened so that they can board trains back to their home states during COVID-19 lockdown.
People's perceptions about priorities, fears, hopes, danger, and most other aspects of life are so dependent on the realities of their circumstances. When helplessness - whether real or perceived - drives fear of uncertainty, the lurking dangers of a pandemic disease, and necessity for personal safety precautions, tend to seem abstract.
Now finally closed for good to be demolished and make way for a major redevelopment of the area.
I don't know when it was built for sure, but the first landlord that I've found listed was for 1878.
Little Grebe juvenile swimming in pond at Mallakpur village near Ludhiana.
Grebes are common residents of village ponds in Punjab. These waterbirds like to hide and nest in overgrowth near the banks of waterbodies. However, they can be easily spotted as they swim into open water when their nesting spots are inadvertently approached.

YY66 PCF at Southend Victoria Station, Southend-On-Sea, Essex. In dedicated X30 Pier to Air livery operating between Southend-On-Sea and Stansted Airport.
Very smart looking livery, but for me from a passenger's point of view, this is the worst model of bus currently in local service. Very noisy and the suspension does not seem to absorb the bumps very well. The seats look nice, but are not comfortable for a long journey. I've finished whinging now!
A special treat to be able to walk freely around 7 of the Douglas Dakota / C47/ C53 Skytrooper aircraft that will be part of the Daks Over Normandy 75th anniversary event on 5th/6/h June 2019.
They were at Old Warden Airfield for the Shuttleworth Collection's Flying Festival 2019.

XV751 on display at the Gatwick Aviation Museum.
This aircraft was involved in an incident during the first year of its life that left it upside down in a field of brussel sprouts somewhere near RAF West Raynham. XV751 was rebuilt and had a long career with the RAF, but finishing its service life with the Royal Navy.

BD 209 taking a break from working hard at the Flying Festival 2019 held by the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden Airfield, Bedfordshire. The body had been used as a garden shed and the chassis was recovered from being used as a farm trailer.
The Leyland G7 was made from 1919 until 1924. BD 209 is the only one of its type left with removable windows and fold back roof. So the bus could operate as a bus or open air charabanc.
Part of an extensive full size diarama scene depicting the Operation Market Garden failed military action in September 1944.
This display is at the Hartenstein Airborne Museum, Ooterbeek, Netherlands. The building itself played a central role in Operation Market Garden being a combined headquarters, casualty station and one of the last defensive positions before the Allied troops were evacuated.
I believe the car is a pre 1936 Opel model, probably a 1.3 litre.
