I was actually short on funds, so I bought this cheap 'paint by numbers' set. I had a chance to create a copy of 'Smiling Cavalier' but I was not in a mood for that..
To accept something that is already part of your life shows that you have understood you were the one who drew it close.

No one remembered when he first arrived.
He simply appeared every autumn, walking between the golden fields with quiet steps, while the old factory watched from the distance.
The workers believed he came to inspect the grain.
The children believed he came to greet the wind.
Neither was entirely wrong.
He never hurried. He would stop, close his eyes for a moment, and the fields would answer with a gentle whisper, as though every stalk carried a story waiting to be heard.
People often wondered why the oldest clock in town always lost a single minute on the days he visited.
No one ever found the reason.
Perhaps time itself paused to listen.
And when the harvest was finally gathered, the bread always tasted a little warmer, a little richer, as if the fields had remembered the footsteps of the man who never asked for thanks.
Some called him a merchant.
The wind never did.

She never asked why it existed.
She asked only one question:
*What if it could bloom?*
With every splash of emerald, crimson, and ember,
the wall remembered that it, too, had once been alive,
before the rules,
before the labels.
And the woman?
She did not paint to escape.
She painted to remember that, amid the codes, amid the cold...
there is still a place for gentleness.
For madness.
For art.
And perhaps... just perhaps...
what others fear is not rebellion.
They fear a beauty they cannot control.
For what is beauty,
if not a question the system never learned to answer?
Not symmetry.
Not order.
Not perfection.
Beauty is the crack in the algorithm's voice.
It is the laughter of a child echoing through sterile corridors.
It is a brushstroke where a barcode was meant to be.
And as she kept painting,
the walls began to tremble.
Not from fear...
but from something far more dangerous,
Longing
the one thing only a human heart can truly feel.

He Appears Again
This is an assemblage created with found objects. Behind the domed glass lens is a little world with a tiny tree (made from a cabbage root).The glass is edged with words clipped from a salvaged old book. I added a little bird, tiny light bulbs and chains.
From my serie of Visual Poetry. This serie is made Black and White in digital post processing. As usual I did not manipulate the picture in Photoshop. In my work I often use simple and only a few objects to interpret a message or sometimes just a word.
