in the quiet echo of the arched passageways, two figures wander, lost or maybe found in a moment that entwines them with the shadows and stone. their steps, light and almost hesitant, trace the lines of a story laid down by centuries. it’s a simple tale of now meeting then, their pale forms a stark contrast to the deep, enduring walls built long before their whispered words filled these chambers. this scene, a fleeting capture of life’s quiet embraces, resonates with the timelessness of human connections, drawing us into the frame, asking us to listen, to dwell a moment longer in the dance of light and darkness.

alma's la seu stands timeless, its reflection undisturbed. but in the foreground, a couple walks beneath an umbrella—on a bright and cloudless day. shielding from the sun, or simply lost in their own world? while others pass by in hurried steps, they move as if untouched by time, an island of stillness within the blur of the everyday.
i was wandering near the parking garage on la rambla when i noticed the stairs, clean and precise, rising toward a quiet sky. she appeared, her boots clicking softly against the stone, a leather jacket slung over her frame, moving with purpose. the reflection caught her stride, splitting the scene into parallel worldsâone real, one imagined. behind her, the tree stood tall, a delicate rebellion against the cityâs sharp edges. it was a fleeting moment, where movement and stillness coexisted, where reflections turned reality into poetry.

A great quote: Man looks in the abyss, there's nothing staring back at him. At that moment, man finds his character. And that is what keeps him out of the abyss.

Sometimes, changing perspective is enough to see a familiar place in a completely new way.
This lensball moment captures the city turned upside down — calm, focused, and quietly surreal.
I love how the sharp reflection contrasts with the soft surroundings, inviting the viewer to pause and look twice.

A powerful studio portrait capturing a moment suspended between strength and vulnerability. The subject’s intense gaze, the textured curls, the shine of the patent coat, and the clutching hands all speak volumes — yet nothing is said aloud. Shadows and contrast elevate the emotional charge of the frame, making silence a central element of the story.

Si haguessis nascut
en una altra terra,
podries ser blanc,
podries ser negre...
Un altre país
fora casa teva,
i diries «sí»
en una altra llengua.
T'hauries criat
d'una altra manera
més bona, potser;
potser, més dolenta.
Tindries més sort
o potser més pega...
Tindries amics
i jocs d'altra mena;
duries vestits
de sac o de seda,
sabates de pell
o tosca espardenya,
o aniries nu
perdut per la selva.
Podries llegir
contes i poemes,
o no tenir llibres
ni saber de lletra.
Podries menjar
coses llamineres
o només crostons
eixuts de pa negre.
Podries... podries...
Per tot això, pensa
que importa tenir
LES MANS BEN OBERTES
i ajudar qui ve
fugint de la guerra,
fugint del dolor
i de la pobresa.
Si tu fossis nat
a la seva terra,
la tristesa d'ell
podria ser teva.
