The fruit was in very sound condition, but the sugar was slightly lower than is usual which has resulted in a lighter more delicate style than in past years. A small percentage of the wine was matured in German Oak Puncheons. The wine shows strong berry character and perfect balance of fruit and tannin with a hint of oak on the finish. This wine will develop and improve with a further 3-4 years bottle ageing, but has the potential for long cellar life 750ml"
