Label reads: "Lindemans Hunter River Valley Porphyry. Bin 5780. Vintage: 1977. This rich, luscious sauternes was vintaged from semilon grapes grown at Lindeman's Hunter River Vineyards, and was matured in small oak casks before bottling. The grapes were allowed to hang on the vines until late in the season before picking so as to cncentreate the flavour. The resultant wine is sweet and rich in character, and, when served chilled, is an ideal accompaniment t desserts. Silver medal 1980Sydney Show."
