Since then, our family have been producing limited quantities of premium quality wines in the Hunter Valley This 1985 Tulloch Chardonnay has a smooth medium body of distinctive character The fruit was harvested at 12.5 baume and matured in small oak casks for ten months prior to bottling This Chardonnay makes fine drinking now but will benefit from another two or three years bottle age.

Label reads:" 1981 EDEN VALLEY RHINE RIESLING This wine typifiies the philosophy of Krondorf Winemakers Grant Burge and Ian Wilson which is to produce high quality table wines exhibiting distinct area and varietal Characteristics Each year only the highest quality Rhine Riesling grapes from the Eden Valley area are selected to produce this wine. The high altitude of the Eden district ensures cooler ripening conditions giving wines of elegance and finesse. Using controlled temperature techniques the winemakers were careful to capture maxium flavour and aroma from the grape variety. The wine was bottled in July 1981 and has been held in the cool Krondorf Cellars allowing it to settle and mature prior to release It shows elegance of style typical of the Eden Valley region and will continue to improve with further bottle maturation for two to three years.
