Forest Dump (2017) is an amalgamation of dismantled furniture and a collection of twenty-eight children’s chairs. The use of wooden furniture and chairs provides a link from Indonesia to the Western world, making the normally distant content of this project accessible to the audience. Furniture is manufactured from the same materials accumulated from deforestation. The faux fur chairs represents the 28 primate species in Indonesia that are threatened through loss of habitat.

The precarious construction of the tree represents a band-aid solution to a problem that can be challenging to fathom. This difficult issue is made accessible through humour, by subverting the deeper meaning with a comical flair, and hoping to make the audience reconsider the wider meaning of the work through guilt.

This is the logo for the visual kei/jrock hunt I am helping organize with Kanzen ni Jrock. It will take place in June or July. All participating stores will have items that reflect the visual kei and/or the jrock culture in an effort to spread the knowladge and love within SL. Once I have a solidified date I will add it into the logo. I am really hoping lots of people will come and participate.

A visual field defect in the temporal aspect of both eyes which does not cross the vertical midline, highly suggestive of a non-glaucomatous lesion and suggests a lesion posterior to the eye, such as a neurological lesion.

Aleix Rodríguez, passió, sense límits per la bicicleta.

L'Aleix és un enamorat de les dues rodes des de la seva infantessa, però especialment de la bicicleta entesa com un art lliure. La passió per la bicicleta va fer que amb divuit anys marxés a viure un parell d'anys a Holanda, la capital europea de la bicicleta, a fi de descobrir noves cultures i emprendre nous camins. Allà, l'Aleix va començar a treballar en un taller artesanal de bicicletes, on va entendre que de la seva vocació n'havia de fer un estil de vida.

Al principi, en aquell petit taller situat a la ciutat de Rotterdam, va formar-se com a mecànic de bicicletes urbanes, tot fent el manteniment bàsic de les bicis dels habitants de la ciutat, arreglant-los els canvis, canviant pastilles de frens, soldant xassissos...

I aquest va ser el començament del que és avui la passió més gran de l'Aleix, modificar, crear i inventar tot tipus de bicicletes que representen un vertader art sobre rodes. Entre les seves creacions més estimades, hi ha la Girafa, la Ziga-zaga o Swing Bike, els tricicles de muntanya o Drift Bike i tot tipus d'enginys que superen de llarg el concepte de bicicleta tradicional...
