IVAS will change the way Soldiers fight and win, effectively eliminating the blind spots that can make it so dangerous to dismount from an armored vehicle. (Photos by Courtney E. Bacon, PEO Soldier)

On the table are two 3TrinsRGB by Gieskes (gieskes.nl/instruments/?file=3TrinsRGB1), as well as two companion Comparator circuits by FetidEye (www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=157807). These can all be patched back and forth with each other using breadboarding jumper cables.
In the Eurorack is power, then an Expert Sleepers Silent Way ES-3 being controlled via an old MOTU 828 audio interface.
Next, an unrelated spring reverb and a distortion unit and a diy sequencer that I'm putting together.
Next in black is a recased Sima video unit with some additional controls.
Then on a circuit board is a recased Radio Shack Video Enhancer, also with some additional controls. This is the same type of unit that is sitting on top of the case in one of the other photos.
Next is a Raspberry Pi which is housed in a slim panel in order to be used as either a video source, or as a control voltage source.
Then, clearly labeled to the right of that is a Schele Video Mixer by Gieskes. There are more modifications that can be made with these, so I'll likely reconfigure it in the future.
On the far right in copper is a Karl Klomp Dirty Video Mixer. Pretty much just connecting the jacks to and from each other with no circuitry in back.
On top are two more Radio Shack Video Enhancers that I will likely make into modified modules at some point, and an old analog video mixer from Sansui.
I have a lot more video mixers and video devices that I'd love to bring out to shows, but they take up so much room. I did visuals this last month with almost this exact setup with the exception of a different video device instead of the Sansui.

Test Tone vol. 40: Iron Egg + Tripon (visuals)
Iron Egg (from Singapore)
Based in Singapore, Darren Moore (laptop/percussion), Tim O'Dwyer (saxophone) and Brian O'Reilly (bass/electronics/moving images) work with minimal sound and image to achieve subtle passages of shadowy texture, constructing a world that is both haunting and beautiful. Using extended instrumental techniques combined with live electronics, the group has developed a controlled improvisational approach that produces ethereal soundscapes that seem at times to be frozen in time.
We are delighted indeed to be hosting Iron Egg on their very first tour of Japan.
Tripon (visuals)
A dynamic visual group who have gained a reputation for the quality, originality and breadth of their work, we are overjoyed to have them back at Test Tone this month. Vokoi, Satoshi Horii and Daito Manabe are not only adept artists, but have truly embodied the spirit of creating unexpected instruments out of new technologies. You can be sure that they will bring a dose of this vision to cover the walls throughout the evening.

Nueva entrega de adjetivos opuestos. Igual de poco currada que la anterior, pero espero que algún profe los pueda usar de referencia para crear las tarjetas dibujadas de su propio puño y letra.

I don't yet know how to describe Harpa, this enigma of incredible design in little Reykjavik, Iceland! You can explore it and photograph it and know that it's many moods and characteristics do not allow you to understand it at all... The photographic opportunities of this icon are immense, and I am sad that I can not enjoy its treasures over a much longer time than I was able. Reykjavik, Iceland.
