Cristiane dos Santos Lima, viaja duas vezes por semana cerca de 90 km para trazer sua única filha, Alessandra para um tratamento visual realizado na Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Deficientes Visuais. Cristiane acorda às 6h20 e chega em Ponta Grossa com a filha as 9 h 30 e somente volta para casa as 19 h. Essa rotina já dura mais de 4 anos para Cristiane desde a descoberta do problema da filha.

Written by my sister: This book was actually a pretty interesting read. I'll admit, it's not what I was hoping for. I was hoping the company had actually released a book with the sort of information you can read on American Girl wiki--use of head sculpts, interesting trivia (like about prototypes), character/doll release dates, etc. Thank goodness American Girl wiki exists for those sorts of dolly reading needs because this didn't have any information about what dolls use certain head sculpts or how long characters/dolls were produced for. The only thing it did have that I was hoping for fell under the "semi informative trivia" umbrella. There is some information in this book (which you can see in the additional photos) about production--like how long it takes to design a character, where they get inspiration from for a doll's theme (particularly girl of the year) and color scheme, etc. It was an interesting read and if you'd like to learn more about American Girl and the way the company started, it's worth having--if you can get it for a good price. Honestly, the information on American Girl wiki is better by far, but it is nice being able to read about doll's in a printed format. Also, there are a lot of high quality, color photos. With doll's, photos are everything! It was a quick, fun read that I greatly enjoyed, so I recommend it.

Visual arts professor W. Mark Grote brings his exhibit of giant hats inspired by 15th century paintings of Piero Della Francesca to Loyola University New Orleans this summer. “The Hats of Piero Della Francesca” are displayed in Dixon Court, located at the St. Charles Avenue entrance of the Communications/Music Complex.

A visual comparison of BB86 and BSA 73mm. Basically both are identical in width and both place the bearings in the identical locations relative to the crank's spindle. BB86 is "inboard" while BSA 73mm is "outboard". BB86 gives me a bunch more wiggle room to keep chainring clearance and tire clearance without running out of BB shell width as so many times occurs with titanium chainstays.
