Programación para artistas visuales con Processing en CAMON Madrid Obra Social CAM
Processing es uno de los lenguajes de programación más utilizados en las artes visuales. En los últimos años se ha convertido en la herramienta de referencia para crear instalaciones interactivas. Permite integrar imágenes, vídeos, sonidos, cámaras, sensores, motores de física y partículas, elementos 3D... Su potencia y flexibilidad se combina con la facilidad de aprendizaje, y lo mejor de todo es que el curso no precisa de conocimientos previos.
Programa
En el transcurso del curso se cubrirán los siguientes temas: geometría básica, color, imagen, vídeo, tipografía, captura web, visión artificial básica, interactividad básica con ratón y teclado. Librerías básicas de sonido y física.
A quién va dirigido
Está destinado a todos aquellos artistas visuales, creadores de instalaciones, diseñadores, escenógrafos, etc... que quieran introducirse en el mundo de la programación interactiva paso a paso.

VISUAL LIBRARIES - Leave your Mark.
A collaborative, visual project which encourages you to sign out a Visual Library Book and ‘Leave Your Mark’.
A Visual Library Book is whatever you want it to be, a sketchbook, a journal, a diary, a notepad.
You can ‘Leave Your Mark’ in whatever way you want, ranging from drawing, writing, sewing, adding photographs, markings, printing and sticking. How you make your marks is entirely up to you. All we ask is that you have fun with the different themes. Just borrow it on your library card with other books and materials. If you are not already a member, just ask the staff to help you.
45 Visual Library Books have been placed in Portsmouth Central Library and each has its own theme ranging from; Portsmouth, My City, When I Open My Eyes, Whilst I Was Waiting, Love, What’s in My Pocket and Memories. The intention is for you to feel free to explore the Visual Library Books and choose a theme that you like.

A couple of thistle blossoms from late summer. I know they are a pain the nether regions and at least used to be illegal (unless of course they were in a government park) but they are pretty. And butterflies love them.

Eine Ausstellung im Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt soll nun helfen, dies zu ändern. "alex wollner brasil. design visual" ist die erste große Retrospektive in Europa. Etwa 120 Arbeiten des 1928 in São Paulo geborenen Designers sind zu sehen, die den Einfluss der Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm kaum verbergen können. In den fünfziger Jahren weilte Wollner einige Jahre in Ulm – und so sind seine Entwürfe auch ein Beleg für seine Mittlerposition zwischen Europa und Südamerika. Quelle:hr-online.de
RSAF to celebrate 45th anniversary with public at Singapore Airshow 2014.
Beside Formation Flying displayed by RSAF Black Knights, I was also amazed by how the staff lines up all the BMW 7 series.
This is a simple visual tester that can be used with the 64 Button Shield.
In this video, I'm just randomly pressing buttons and the 64 Button Shield with the Arduino is then sending the button press data using the Arduino's USB serial port into a Processing Sketch on my Mac.
Try it yourself, Mac OS, Windows or Linux. Included you will also find the Processing Sketch. It is very basic so feel free to make changes, I'd love to see what sort of cool things you could come up with!
