A very nice place my sweet Désirée and I explored. Worth to visit and have a look. (In-world ERIADOR NEW SANTORIN 39,122,28)

Another visit at Mom's appartment, Hørsholm.

According to Wikipedia: "Steller sea lions have attracted considerable attention in recent decades, both from scientists and the general public, due to significant (and largely unexplained) declines in their numbers over an extensive portion of their northern range, notably in Alaska." It was very interesting to see these huge animals on our Kenai Fjords wildlife & glacier tour out of Seward, Alaska.

On visiting a favourite rock outcrop, we noticed the tiny white flowers spread among the Borya plants.

In a little 'garden' nook between a few rocks, many Wurmbea flowers were gathered. I noticed a Rove beetle, most likely Paederus meyricki, moving between flowers and visiting an appeared to be drinking from the nectaries.

When visiting alien worlds, Federation explorers sometimes need to traverse long stretches of terrain quickly and efficiently and that is where the LL-78 "Ranger": Long-Range Land Speeder comes in. Built for speed and long distance travel, this speeder is a must-have on any expeditionary mission. Pictured here is Nova Team's Lieutenant Elizabeth Erandis cruising along the deserted arid landscape of a Class-H planet. It's open, yet uneven terrain is no match for the Ranger's thrusters and repulsers as it chews up the kilometers.

[Like most Sci-Fi fans, I like the idea of land speeders, mostly popular in the Star Wars universe. This is my Neo-Classic Space take on one. I drew inspiration from a lot of different types and some really great builds from others in our community. I've been sitting on this build for a while and I probably should of posted it last month with all the LEGO Speeder craze going on but I couldn't come up with a way to present it that I liked. I wanted to have this on an all-LEGO terrain but I lacked the parts and time because I've been working on the next large Nova Team installment. However, I think it came out pretty cool nonetheless. I would love to know what you guys think. In the next day or so I'll post one of my customary overview images so you can get a better look at the build. Take care!]

For those who are interested, unfortunately I am unable to sell the Nova Team minifigures or designs due to the use of the "Classic Space" logo which is owned and trademarked by The LEGO Group. My custom designed figures and use of the official "Classic Space" logo is for personal use only in my MOCs and photography. By the same token, I will not give away the design files and source material either. Thank you for understanding! Trust me, if I could legally sell these, I would.

Visiting southeastern New Brunswick to see the Hopewell Rocks. We stayed at a farm in nearby Albert Mines at a higher elevation. Leaving the farm early one morning, I saw one of the most colorful skies of our trip, before descending into the clouds. The Hopewell Rocks were shrouded in thick fog all morning.

Would you believe this is a raw shot? One of the better pictures I've ever taken. Back then I didn't take very large pictures though, so it's not suitable for editing. Otherwise, I'd do a few things to it (crop for one).

Visiting neighbors can be a bit awkward if they are too big... At least Niks and Naks should have told Tarzan to leave his elephant outside.

Visiting GWR pannier tank engine No. 6430 passes the signal box at Market Bosworth on the Battlefield Line in Leicestershire on 10th March. No. 6430 worked Autotrains in the South Wales Valleys from 1940 until 1954, being based at Pontypool and Newport during this time.

UP ILBLBE 27 rounds the wye at East Redondo in Los Angeles. All four of the engines in this set are owned by NS, and three are in company colors. The last engine, a former UP SD90MAC, is back on its original home territory.

The Coop clothing factory was built in 1871 by R Todd of Southport, for Timothy Coop and James Marsden. There were large additions in 1888, by Isitt and Verity, and in 1892 by W Verity. It is listed Grade II.

Coop & Company Ltd. was founded in 1862 in Wigan. Timothy Coop, a retail tailor, sought to reduce the employment caused by the slump in the cotton trade, by training local women and girls to use sewing machines for the manufacture of men's clothing. Coop was one of a number of local men involved in a relief committee, supporting those left unemployed by the impact on the cotton industry in Lancashire by the American Civil War.

After visiting America, Coop and his business partner, James Marsden, built new premises on Dorning Street, Wigan, opened in 1872. This was followed in 1879 with the opening of the Mantle Department for women's clothing, and in 1880 and 1890, new wings were added to the original structure.

Coop produced service uniforms during both the First and Second World Wars, and was in business until 1990.

Pere Marquette 1225 rests at the North Pole (Ashley, Michigan) after dropping passengers who are off talking to Santa Claus.

Pere Marquette 1225 is a 2-8-4 Berkshire steam locomotive built for the Pere Marquette Railway by Lima Locomotive Works in Lima, Ohio in 1941. PM 1225 is one of two surviving Pere Marquette 2-8-4 locomotives.

The old parish church of Dyce, Aberdeenshire, dedicated to St Fergus, is a pre-Reformation building dating from the 13th or 14th century. The original burial ground has many ancient graves and monuments as well as views over the River Don and the surrounding countryside. The ruined church also houses Pictish symbol stones, bringing us closer to our past.

Yesterday my mom took me and my sister on a visit to the North pole. We got to ride on a sleigh and talk to Santa and feed the reindeer. It was real fun!

Hamilton Gardens is a terrific place to visit is with its feature of many different types of intriguing and unique garden designs. Brilliant. There's this pond connecting some of the gardens. When passing I couldn't help noticing the strong and profound reflections created by the surrounding planting. It was a calm day so hardly any wind movements in the water. Not easy to find an intersting angel to shoot from (not made easier by the many people visiting that day) but I like the drama of the clouds. Nice quiet moment of exploring.

Native bee in Australian Bluebell (Wahlenbergia stricta). Seen at Belair National Park near Adelaide, South Australia.

EDIT: Thank you to Aidan for identifying this bee as Lasioglossum urbanum.

I took my foreign friends to visit historic Hatfield House, where Queen Elizabeth I spent part of her childhood and where she was being told she would become the Queen of England. During the two hours' visit, they just looked at their mobile phone arranging the next football match..

Modern Technology rules our life!

Can you imagine how we cope with life without mobile phones, iphone, ipad...?..!!

Hope this keeps us thinking......

I love nature and all it has to offer. Today I took a trip over to Taughannock Falls State Park and admired the lovely Falls. The water isn't flowing well since we haven't had much rain this summer, but the view is still spectacular!

There's an old stone ruin in the middle of the Dark Forest. Mori likes to visit there every now and then, the place has an eerie power that she can feel in her bones <3

Visiting some friends upstate, I just had to get a shot of this apartment complex. Really liked all the lines and textures The light kind of sucked that day for the building so I opted for a high contrast effect in post processing.

A friend and I met for some shopping and then back to her house for drinks and a meal. She's a good friend and a very good photographer.

[Having returned from my two-week photo trip in Saintonge, I resume uploading the rest of my selected photos from 2020 (10 per day, usually in the morning CET), as well as a selection of my current, 2021 photos (usually 3 or 4 per day, in the evening CET).]

The Gers is a small part of the region of Aquitaine, which covers most of southwestren France. On July 2020, we rented a house for three weeks in the Gers area, and commencing today, I will upload a selection of the photographs I took while we were there. I hope you will enjoy them!

As usual, I will caption more specifically in bold type below whenever necessary.
