I made this at the New Moon Collage Workshop at the Expressive Arts Center. We activated the Pisces New Moon, a time of mystery, magic and healing. To tap the power of the upcoming (February 21st) New Moon, which corresponds to the feng shui Health gua, we collaged our hopes and dreams onto a small but powerful vision board to help inspire us all month.

At the Expressive Arts Center we created a New Moon Collage Vision Board. With this New Moon in Cancer- sign of the Mother we tapped into the power of home-and-family loving Cancer and we collaged our intentions for nurturing and stability onto our Vision Boards.

This is my Vision Board I created in January 2010 for the year ahead.

This weekend I worked in NGO, run master-class "materialization and visualization" and also visited master-class "Postcards" - so interesting work with images and imaginations.

Just so you know, all this tissue paper-painting stuff is completely optional. It is going to get covered over anyways. But I liked the idea of starting this off with a deeper intention, and working the entire piece as art. Make sense.

I've been a little blue lately. Letting my fears get the best of me, and basically looking at life with a very pessimistic view.

I had a mini melt down, and finally decided I needed to make a change, so I grabbed a journal, some supplies and made myself a hot cup of Yogi Ginger Tea. I had plenty of things on my list that needed to get done, but investing in myself for a few hours seemed just as important.

I ended up with something that was part Gratitude Journal, and part Vision Board. Filled with inspirational thoughts, positive things my family and friends have told me, photographs, pictures and drawings of what I want to happen in my life.

I'm feeling much better now.

Resources are abundant around me. I attract money like a magnet. I vacation whenever I want, wherever I want. I am generous and giving. I receive unexpected gifts. I have everything I need. I am completly content. =)
