I'm counting down the days til my 2-week trip to Japan in mid-May. Thus, I have created a vision wall for the trip, which includes an image of me sitting in a hot spring bath with Michiko overlooking mountains and breathtaking landscapes.

The first day of Ramadan ended with heart-filling giving and sharing.

I'd forgotten I'd created this dreamboard and it's interesting looking at it now, as I've pretty much created what were themes in this vision board
The purpose of a vision board is to be a visual representation of what you are creating in your life. Research has shown that if you can see an outcome clearly, you are much more likely to achieve it. In addition, many spiritual practices believe that if you look at your vision and bring up the emotions and feelings associated with having already achieved it, especially gratitude, then you activate the universal Law of Attraction and can essentially call that vision into your life.

That is before something is created in the material world, it is first created in our minds.

My Girlfriend & I, try to get together a day or so before New Year to make our vision board for the next year...
We get a couple of old magazines - we got through them & cut out the pictures & words that impress us or grab our attention... with no thought to how it will come together. We then get a canvas board or a off-cut board from the photo/picture framing shop & glue the pictures on wherever we feel comfortable with... We often go back & find more pictures or words we think will finish it off & sometimes we paint the background first... When we think we are finished we then Mod Podge it all & then see what it is telling us for the new year...
It's lots of fun, so do give it a go - it makes for a wonderfully relaxing evening, especially when spent with friends both male & female... Let me know if you give it a go...

What is a vision board/book?
It is a board whereby you cut out pictures of things you desire, stick them on the board and visionalize having these things in your life already.
As a psychology lover's - I like the general idea of the book/movie "The secret" with the combination of neuroplasticity theory so I decided to make my own vision book.
How I made the vision board/book?
I took 2 poor-quality childrens books and torn their papers and covered the bindings with wallpaper.
I made 6 holes in the middle of the bindings and knotted between them some colorful fibers. It helped me to connect the 2 bindings books togther as a one book.
Now I'll add lots of pictures (from magazines and the internet) of things I desire to have.

I decided to make a vision board for Christopher, as well. I didn't know you could make vision boards for other people, but it helped me focus on what his year would be like! Quite fun, actually!
Out of the previous photo's chaos emerged these three vision boards. The first one deals with my basic values; the second deals with the heart of creativity; and the third deals with the basic values I of my business. It was fun to see this all emerge.
