collaged Vision Board that I created.

This vision board focused on simplifying my life, take time for me, relax, express my creative side and reach for my dreams.

This week, we headed to upstate New York for our third time at the WFF! The kids were not as enthusiastic (especially just eating fruits and veggies) as they were when they were a bit younger. But, after the first few days, they made a some friends and really enjoyed the rest of the week. It was nice to get away and have a break in the routine, and we are thankful for the memories!

This is my Vision Board for how I hope September 2020 will be...if we all mask up and are careful, maybe we can do a little more by then...while still remaining vigilant. There is all kinds of symbolism in here but I'll probably be the only one who understands it.

This vision board touches on the heart of creativity and seems to be a bridge into my business values: self-expression, inspiration, finding oneself, uniqueness, doing what you love, staying in motion, making plans, and a bit of magic and sparkle.

My vision board hangs above my computer for motivation. All the images give me excitement and sticking them all down was fun too!

this is my vision board for my homework in the tranquilista ecource, showing where it is in my office.

Gluing the pieces together on the poster board was the trickiest part. I had a real nice layout to my collage, I felt, and then things got a little off trying to glue them on. Don't get so attached to the overall aesthetics of your vision board. Creating a vision board is not about making a great art piece. If you plan to sell it on Etsy, then you lost the whole purpose of creating a vision board.

If this was a "normal" piece of art work I would be happy to share with you my thoughts and ideas behind everything. But I choose to keep that part of my vision board private. Sort of a conversation between me and the universe!

I had a friend tell me yesterday about how she watched Oprah and heard about "vision boards."

Vision Boards are a tool to help you acheive the goals that you set for yourself. You create these boards by using posterboard and cutting out pictures and words from old magazines and pasting them on the board, and within a year you should acheive your goals.

That's my project for today and I wanted others to hear about it because it may help.

The one on the right has a theme of worldly adventures, while the one on the left is a more general expression of my dream life as I'm imagining it currently.

I made this at the New Moon Collage Workshop at the Expressive Arts Center. We activated the Pisces New Moon, a time of mystery, magic and healing. To tap the power of the upcoming (February 21st) New Moon, which corresponds to the feng shui Health gua, we collaged our hopes and dreams onto a small but powerful vision board to help inspire us all month.

I did a mini vision board for my journal so that I would have a copy with me always. The pictures aren't exact and everything that is on the big board isn't in my journal, but it is a pretty close approximation and conveys the same ideas and feelings.

At the Expressive Arts Center we created a New Moon Collage Vision Board. With this New Moon in Cancer- sign of the Mother we tapped into the power of home-and-family loving Cancer and we collaged our intentions for nurturing and stability onto our Vision Boards.

I really, REALLY need a new camera (two of our Olympus' are broken, the third is a crappy little D-450 Zoom that won't take a non-blurry picture unless you're aiming at a stone statue and you yourself are a stone statue) - this Panasonic Lumix will do nicely! Reading the reviews on it I really think I'd like it. Of course, I'm in love with my Dad's Canon SLR and would like to have it too, just keeping my "wants" based more in reality so hopefully they'll happen more quickly. :)

This vision board focused on finding my style, forward thinking, creating a calm space, remember to have fun and play, I don't always have to have my ducks in a row, do something every day that will inspire others and be true to being to myself.

Collaged Vision Board that my friend Simone created.

I used to have a pretty smile. I really want to have one again.

In the office, they have a vision board.

I finally got my vision board done for Chookooloonks Path Finder. I had to get magazines from a friend to do it (and I did cut up some of my photography magazines - very carefully). I think it came out pretty good for my first vision board.

This is a sample of a Vision Board that joyce created for her upcoming book THE VISION BOARD, Unlock the Secret to an Extraordinary Life by Harper Collins Publishing, Collins Design, fall, 2008.For more info, email: thevisionboard@aol.com and go to www.IHAVEAVISION.org -- for a preview (in progress) view of the book's website -- note only a video up so far, tab info still to be determined.

Got to go to the Dodger game on May 24, and watched the Cardinals shut out LA. Brad Penny pitched a good game, save for a disastrous 3rd inning where he gave up all 4 runs. Other than the 3rd inning, the Dodger pitchers threw a no-hitter (I might be wrong on that, but they threw a shutout at the very least).

My vision board dealing with the basic values I bring to my business: spirit, self-awareness, self-expression, creativity, joy, magic, creating your own story, learning, growth, discovery.
