In continuation of the (sort of) tale, Syncretio who seems to have a bit of a "complicated thing" going with Xiamara, goes for a head clearing walk in the park. Where he encounters Alpho, the wolfess, who immediately pounces upon him with an acerbic little homily concerning the wickedness of his ways. (He is the one who is being difficult here. Xia, for once, is totally in the clear!). Not being in a fit state to deal with her by himself (he is kinda drunk), he does what any avatar with half a brain would do under the circumstances: He logs in his alt! hhh (Who incidentally, is played by me.).
Meanwhile Grapho, Amina and Syncretia are off in the distance, having nice little constitutionals and reunions and break-ups and heartaches and what not...
Again, the Grendel's avatar is called incubus, which does not apply to a female, so Alpha is now the Fog Succubus. This time I colored the originally white prims to black and made them shiny. The skin is the grey version of the Frail skin by Vry Offcourse.
This one has ended up becoming more ominous, although for some strange reason I find the all white smoke succubus more unsettling. But, one way or another, although I enjoy taking these photos, I am feeling very alienated from Alpha as I do it. For the first time since I met her she is no longer a Simulacrum - I can not relate to her or to how she looks. AT ALL!
A dark unisex outfit which takes its name from a dingbat font. This comes with male/female skins, garments, unisex belts, a unisex chest ornament, 2 unisex mohawks, boots, an extra skirt for ladies, unisex bloomers, cuffs and arm rings.

More shots of the power plant and Cappadocia. I have added a series of hamster wheels which I did do some work on first: Lifitng the wheels out of their cages and adding some color and shine really helped integrate them into the plant I think. Also added are some gothic thorn bushes from the Heart Gardening Center, which I have sunk into big concrete planters. I have decided long ago that plants sunk into SL soil just don't do it for me. And I have added the rain, huge thunderstorms in fact. This has all been taken with windlight and I love the way you get a mixture of sun and rain in some of these. It has proven to be almost impossible to capture the lightning on these shots, but if you actually go there you will see that it is lightning and thundering like crazy...
There are many repeat shots here where the only difference is the windlight settings. I am uploading them anyway since it may interest people to see how big the difference is.
Can extreme beauty become scary, repulsive even, simply because it falls outside of the scope of what we recognize as human? Alpha is so beautiful here that I am in awe of her. In fact, this is the most removed that I have felt from her since I started on this little adventure in the Uncanny Valley.
Someone sat down and made these! Two someones in fact: All the attachments are designed by aoimizuno Meili, except for the cyborg feet. They are the work of of Marissa Lurra. The cybersuit has been designed by Tomby Karas and the drow skin is, once again, by Loli Nori.

Taking inspiration from Turkish novelist Orhan Pamuk's novel "My name is Red", this one involves Ottoman ornamentation. Men and women get the skin together with a body suit, the pennants, the shoulder pads, a belt with a sword and the Sultan boots.
Oh and - a custom textured pogo stick to lighten it all up: A hopping Sultan/Sultana!

It has to be said outright that I cannot play any musical instrument in Real Life. Be that as it may, wolfie's piano really inspired me, so one of the things that I have had my heart set on lately has been a piano in Second Life. I spent quite a while hunting around for one and getting myself familiarized with sheet music and so on, but then tonight I finally got one. In fact, I ended up getting two: One, which has a very high prim count for Syncretia and a lower prim version for Klein. I set the one for Syncretia up on the western shore, against all the black textures that I have there.
I guess lurking somewhere deep inside is a concert pianist here because the amount of joy that I derived from playing this tonight is almost pathetic.
Oh, and I am playing the Goldberg Variations btw. Obviously, nothing less will do... hhhhh
It is probably the fact that I never ever will be wearing anything remotely as elegant and/or erotic in RL that draws me to these types of clothes. But SL is no different: I hang around in jeans all day regardless of whether I'm here or there.
Still...

This is truly horrifiying. I had a really hard time doing this...
I saw the Cyborg skin on space ship designer Ichtyo Broome, but seeing it on someone else is not quite the same as putting it on yourself. I did have a sense that clothing Alpha in this skin would be a very difficult thing to do and it took me a really long time to even decide to go out and purchase the skin. But finally I did it yesterday. The bones are the bones of the whale avatar of Flea Bussy.
So, this is the end of the road for now: I have raked this as deep as I think can go at the moment without totally cracking up over it. One of my favorite writers is Mishima and what I think of as one of his best books is entitled "The Decay of the Angel". And that is what should probably be the title of these.

A tribute to Cutea Benelli, whose incredible work gave me the idea to put the underwater lightbulbs at Syncretia into an outfit, is very much in order here...

This is the outfit that had Mossy slap his thighs in sheer merriment yesterday!
OK, Chanel it ain't - but then I am not exactly a Chanel kinda gal either, am I? I do not think that I will be riding in planes and trucks dressed up like this, but I really think it is gorgeous anyway...
Hair: Disembodied Hand
Skin: Toshiya Okawa
Horns: Memnoch Matzerath (Grendel's Children)
Cloak: Vas Legend (Angry Monkey)

I met Tegen only once, at Klein, and I have to say that even in that really short moment I felt that I was in the company of someone very special. The truck really is a wonder truck: It can fly, swim, negotiate the wildest terrain - of course with a kick ass driver like Mossy at the wheel.
I love to see this evidence of life on Syncretia, which seems to go on even when I am not around: Mossy has parked the truck in front of the Angry Monkey tent and suddenly the whole place looks inhabited.
I also took the opportunity for a mini fashion photo shoot:
Hair: Queue Marlowe
Skin: Cory Edo
Ears and Tail: Ivy Graves
Gloves: Nine Catteneo
Top: howard Lindley
Skirt: Princess Kendal
Boots: DarkLour Watanabe
