My first video so not so great, it was so windy so I had to emphasize the music. (Recorded in full HD but had to reduce the quality because couldn't upload it here on flickr)
I might need to buy a Rode Mic.

I keep them 5 seconds and then merge them in windows video maker, you can do that too.
I would be so excited to watch it. I will be making more videos I guess I like videoing.

I've been working on my recent flea market American Girl dolls all week. McKenna is done, but the other three are still in the works.

I removed Sam's head to wash her hair and get her stuffing all back down into her body. She is one of the the dirtiest AG dolls I've gotten (my garage sale dolls rank up there, too). I could feel a layer of greasy grime on her. I washed her lower legs, feet, lower arms, and hands with soft scrub and a toothbrush and washed the rest with magic eraser and water. A bit of the top layer of her hair was cut in the back, but I'm hoping that the curls will mask that once I pull her hair back.
Lanie is in really excellent condition. She had a light layer of dirt and I'm trying to get her curly hair back in order.
I wet their hair down with a spray bottle of plain water, combed it using an AG metal brush, and set the hair in sponge rollers. Then, I sprayed the hair down again after it was in the rollers. I will let it sit for at least 48 hours before removing the rollers. I covered their cloth bodies with a towel while working on them and made sure not to get water in their eyes. I've got them dressed in cozy pajamas while they wait for their hair to set. I watched a YouTube video showing this method to get curls back in curly AG hair. The video maker did not use rollers, she just used pin curls, so I'm not sure if this will work the same way.
I think Lanie's will take the curl, but I'm not sure about Samantha.

The landscapes, mountains and woods in the first part of the video illustrate some woods, hills and mountains in the Veneto Region (Italy) now being repopulated with wolves. The second part of the video shows some great landscapes of the Region Marche (Italy) where the wolves still live.
There is also a motion with a great Wolf called "Olmo" who lives in Civitanova (Marche Region) and who was the "protagonist" of my life's changement as per a great first meeting with a real Wolf. Long life to Wolves and to the Wolves' Spirits!

Does anyone remember the days we'd all sit for hours and skype/ message each other? Does anyone remember the days we'd all upload videos every week and comment on all of our friends videos?
All of these "does anyone remember" could go on for ages. I hadn't been on flickr for so long it wasn't even in my computer history. Summer time is always the time you find yourself, in my opinion. I want it back. I want those days back where the people who knew you even better then you knew yourself were always there, even if they were countries away. I want the days back where boys and makeup and clothes didn't matter, what mattered was all of this.

Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora is one of the SecondLife creators I admire the most. I have known her for years. Our friendship is not the kind where you chat every day, but we talk often about our crafts, our taste, and our vision of being creators in SecondLife. As a person and an artist, I have the deepest admiration for the passion, honesty, and dedication Squinternet puts into her work. I admire the playfulness that exudes from her art, and the strong creative will that drives her. She is someone who does not compromise her vision, and someone that gives all of herself in her creations. That's what makes a true artist, to me. This relentless dedication to her craft is something that shows in every piece of Donna Flora.
In the past few days, I have been immersed in Squinternet’s vendors, helping to move them to her new Donna Flora mainstore and Miamai satellite shop. I was moved, once again, by her fire. The pure determination to create. The breathing for beauty. If you sit in a room surrounded by her creations, you cannot ignore that force. From the simple elegance of a silky sheath, to the sophistication of a tailored suit; from frilly sleeves to flapper fringe – her style has such range that everyone can find something to suit their taste. Regardless of one’s personal style, one cannot deny the strength and liveliness of the bold, colorful soul that produced Donna Flora creations.
It conjures that spark of joy and life that ignites your mind when something inspires you.
I want to help my friend as much as I can. We both depend on SL for our living, and I can only imagine how worried I would be in her situation. There is always pressure for creators to release new items, because if you do not, traffic and sales dwindle. I also wanted to try and give her the opportunity to create and play, which she so loves about SecondLife and, for now, cannot enjoy. That's how I came up with the idea of collaborating with her to design some new clothes for her brand.
When she feels ok, she stays in Skype and we chat about this and that. One night we went on a happy window shopping spree on the web to look for ideas. We brainstormed about shapes and colors, talking about every detail. I then made the mesh and showed it to her for approval. I then textured, rigged, made the materials, and very nervously showed her my screen so that she could see the sequins shimmering in the sunlight.
Why nervous?
Hey, she is Squinternet. She can be intimidating! ^^
Luckily for me, she approved it on sight, and decided to call it Noemi.
I made a small video to show you how pretty the sparkly sequin is in the sunlight. I am no video maker, so forgive the bumps and the sickly moving of the camera. It's better than the Blair Witch Project anyway. ^^
