I don't usually post videos, but I just happened to have my D800 with me today and I caught these cute little bulldogs playing. The little one is feisty.

This is completely unedited straight from the camera video.

Google Video is increasingly cluttered. Check out the viral links in the blue box ('Email - Blog - Post to MySpace') - do Google not test their interfaces at a range of font sizes?

The interface does complement the video though:

Taken at Frampton Marsh RSPB reserve in Lincolnshire.

The marshes between the 360 hide and the sea defences are being drained to resolve a problem, it will them be flooded again ready for it's winter visitors.

On our way back from the sea defences the spoonbill's decided to move down to the marsh overlooked by the visitor centre we tried various positions to get shots, we managed to take a short video too,

This was my first attempt at timelapse video, from the River Severn. It was done with 203 images taken over a 23 minute period (the video is only 8 seconds long though). I think I'll give it another go soon, but next time I'll avoid doing it in front of flowing water as it doesn't work so well.

I used an alternative firmware on the 5D (Magic Lantern - www.magiclantern.fm/) which has an intervalometer. I took a bracketed sequence of three shots every five seconds until I had 609 images (well, actually until my CF card filled up), then batch processed the bracketed shots to make 203 images, then used Windows Live Movie Maker to turn them in to a video, using one image per frame.

All the bits for the DSLR video rig have arrived and I have assembled it for the first time on Robyn's Canon 6D.

This will provide all the necessary elements to film exceptional video and audio with the 6D. It does not come cheap though here are the items and the respective costs.

My wonderful summer holiday is over and I'm back to my teaching job. It's always as much of a shock to my body-mind-soul entity to have to endure the horrendous noise polution and the chaos of school work, after the calmness of summer vacations. Soooo, after work I pampered myself by picking up a couple of playline cuties from the 70% toy sale. This sweetie jumped in my cart in addition to the 2 Project MC2 dolls from my previous photo. She's not just a doll, but also a memory game. Her skirt lights up in three different colours and plays tunes that you have to memorize and repeat by punching the buttons on her belt. I already played her and passed all 5 levels. Hehe!

Traversée du pont du Rhin à Marckolsheim de la France vers l'Allemagne. La frontière est au milieu du fleuve.

Vidéo faite il y a un peu plus d'un an, reprise hier après avoir enregistré la musique.

The reason for the unsteadiness of the video is that the wind was whipping and I could not hold the camera still. The last few seconds show two big crashes against the pier, so hang in there! :)

Decided to try out the Flickr video thing. I'm curious about how well it can be seen. This is a large Tegu (not mine) at the Northwest Reptile Breeders Expo in Puyallup, Washington, October, 2004.
