Some brief video I put together from clips taken on an evening game drive at Samburu National Reserve in Kenya. Here a young male lion is just awakening from a day of sleep to prepare for a night of hunting. All we had for steadying our shots was sandbags, so sometimes there'll be a bounce. i've actually decided to make the webcam pic i posted earlier as my portrait of the day. is it aesthetically pleasing? not particularly, but that's what happened today, & i don't look horrendous.
this, however, is just a little tidbit for you guys. disregard what i put in the video about videos not becoming the common theme for my portraits--i'm sticking to the nikon ;)

The ISAI Faidherbe: In the heart of the Saint-Jacques district, the ISAI (Unassigned Building
Immediate) Faidherbe are emblematic of the post-war reconstruction of Amiens. Built between 1946 and 1951, this set of 14 buildings designed by architect Paul Sirvin has 150 apartments.
