The DH.88 Comet G-ACSS was a high-speed racing and record-breaking aircraft designed in the 1930s, while the de Havilland Vampire was a fighter jet developed after World War II. The Comet was known for its sleek design and impressive performance in endurance races, while the Vampire was a versatile and widely used jet fighter known for its agility and speed. Both aircraft were significant achievements for de Havilland in their respective eras, showcasing the company's innovation in aviation technology.
Tulip Bulbs. Tulips are one of the most familiar bulbous perennials in the British garden and are a staple part of any spring flowering garden. Tulips bulbs are so versatile that they can be planted with any other spring bulb, as well as having multiple uses in borders, patio pots and flowerbeds.

I'm a horrible hair stylist and my hair actually resembles a dishevelled squirrel or abandoned nest at the best of times BUT since soy is such a versatile material, you can really do a lot with it with minimal effort and/or skill.
Above is an example of what can be done with our short cut, to make it a bit more realistic looking. Soy doesn't have to be all brushed down and smooth all the time!
The versatile C-45 family of transport and trainer aircraft began life in 1937 as the Beechcraft Model 18 light twin. The Model 18s were widely accepted by commercial aviation operators as a good economical short haul transport prior to the war. The Army Air Corps saw its commercial success and ordered 11 aircraft prior to the beginning of World War II. At the outbreak of the war, the Army Air Corps ordered the C-45 into production. Although used primarily as a transport aircraft, the C-45 was also produced in the AT-7 navigational training, AT-11 bombardier/gunnery training and the F-2 photo reconnaissance trainer versions. By the end of the war, Beech had built 4,526 examples of the C-45 and its variants.
I think this is the first airplane that I've actually completed. I started a C-47, Mosquito and F-22 but unfortunately they have remained WIPs. I am attracted to graceful aircraft an the Twin-Beech is absolutely beautiful. I plan on building more in different color schemes so stay tuned. (I also have about five models/ builds to upload)

CC most versatile: Symmetry
This redwood carving measures 11 inches (28cm) tall. Setup was along one side of a light box with just one LED on the outside and pointed upwards. Black acrylic sheets below and to the right, mirror acrylic sheet to the left. I was proud of myself for having remembered to clean all three acrylic sheets. It wasn't until post-processing that I remembered some very important advice from CC Camerwork, namely:
"If your product is small, and your photo is macro, get cleaning! A brush & air blower are good to get the last spots of dust & tiny fibres out of there just before you take your shot." So my advice is not to look too closely at this image.
I decided to try boiling Ace McFly’s hair so it’s pushed back. I think it frames his face much better and him more versatile than the 90s style hair heh.
Compositionally Challenged
Most Versatile: January - EV settings (9/10)
EV +2/3, to over expose this flower as it was in a dark space.
The trail quite slippery and muddy at the beginning then dry climbs steadily up Raemura through dense forests, patches of huge ferns and enormous expanses of naturalised Stachytarpheta cayennensis, Blue Rat's-tail. I respectfully use the designations of the wonderfully informative website of Cook Islands Biodiversity and Natural Heritage (I'd have myself written Stachytarpheta jamaicensis and Snakeweed...). The pretty blue flowers were being visited by many long-wing butterflies and also lots of - I think - feral Honeybees, Apis mellifera.
Those Honeybees are not at all native to these islands. The Biodiversity website says that they were first described for Rarotonga by a versatile Scottish missionary, William Wyatt Gill (1828-1896), who visited here for five months in 1858. He must have had an eye for nature. When precisely European Honeybees were introduced to this island is unclear. But I wouldn't be surprised if that was done by earlier missionaries. The first Honeybees in northern New Zealand were in two hives that another missionary's wife, Mary Bumby (1811-1862) had with her when she arrived there from Europe via Sydney in 1839. It may be conjectured that Honeybees were introduced here in Rarotonga similarly perhaps already in the late 1820s.
The inset is a view of the Eastern Mountains from the highest slope of Raemura before you get to its rock face.
CC Most Versatile
Above this candle is a plastic sheet upon which I photographed water drops. I only used the candle briefly because of all the flammable materials I was using. A flashlight worked better for what I was attempting to do. I had a variety of pieces of poster board in different colors that I tried when photographing the water droplets. Not a good photo, but it shows some options for what you may want to do.

A quick selfie, in the mirror, with a frost frame to make it feel colder... I was actually indoors! lol
I've always felt the most comfortable in denim, regardless of gender presentation. Skirts, shorts, jeans and jackets are so versatile and can be dressed up or down, and don't we all relate to how fabulous it feels to find the perfect pair of skinnies!
I think denim is timeless, and I've always admired women who into their 70s are still chic as ever in a snug pair of indigo or black jeans and a classy tunic or sweater top.
Despite the occasional feelings of regret that I didn't seize more opportunities when I was younger, I so admire the proud, elegant, mature women who continue to rock their look and celebrate their unique beauty. It's not about being a cougar as much as it is about demonstrating tasteful allure and class.
So it's not only denim I'm praising, but also the women who wear it and inspire us all!

C-GUPP, a Beech A100 King Air, on approach to runway 06R at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.
It was arriving as THU106 (Thunder Airlines Limited) from Timmins, Ontario.
Serial number B-157 began its career as N123CS with The Citizens and Southern National Bank at Atlanta, Georgia in March 1973.
During the past half century, this aircraft has performed many missions. It has carried corporate executives between major cities, operated as a scheduled airliner between communities in Northern Ontario and hauled cargo onto and off of gravel strips at remote locations.

C-FXAW, an Israel 1124 Westwind I, on approach to runway 23 at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.
It was arriving as PHX280 (2080061 Ontario Inc., doing business as SkyCare Air Ambulance) from Dorval, Quebec.
Serial number 280 began its career as N290W with Langham Petroleum Corporation in Houston, Texas on March 28, 1980.
The 46-year-old bizjet looked brand new.
