A feature of the 720nm infrared pass-filter is it's versatility, which makes it the "classic IR filter", rightfully so I think.
It strongly brings out characteristics of the near IR spectrum, suitable for pungent monochrome images, yet it lets in enough visible light to be able to also do some false-color developments.

The versatile C-45 family of transport and trainer aircraft began life in 1937 as the Beechcraft Model 18 light twin. The Model 18s were widely accepted by commercial aviation operators as a good economical short haul transport prior to the war. The Army Air Corps saw its commercial success and ordered 11 aircraft prior to the beginning of World War II. At the outbreak of the war, the Army Air Corps ordered the C-45 into production. Although used primarily as a transport aircraft, the C-45 was also produced in the AT-7 navigational training, AT-11 bombardier/gunnery training and the F-2 photo reconnaissance trainer versions. By the end of the war, Beech had built 4,526 examples of the C-45 and its variants.
I think this is the first airplane that I've actually completed. I started a C-47, Mosquito and F-22 but unfortunately they have remained WIPs. I am attracted to graceful aircraft an the Twin-Beech is absolutely beautiful. I plan on building more in different color schemes so stay tuned. (I also have about five models/ builds to upload)

Whitehaven Bus station was built in 1931 for the then Cumberland Motor Services and served until 2002 when it was abandoned by its then operator Stagecoach. To the right of the station portal, the doorway - behind the pillar box - was still the company's "Stagecoach Cumberland" registered office. After abandoning the Whitehaven buildings, Stagecoach moved their head office to Lowther Street, Carlisle and the local area's registered name became Stagecoach Northwest.
Here it is on 24 June 1998, passed by Stagecoach Cumberland 749, one of the ubiquitous and versatile Alexander bodied Volvo B10Ms.

Above this candle is a plastic sheet upon which I photographed water drops. I only used the candle briefly because of all the flammable materials I was using. A flashlight worked better for what I was attempting to do. I had a variety of pieces of poster board in different colors that I tried when photographing the water droplets. Not a good photo, but it shows some options for what you may want to do.

It was arriving as THU106 (Thunder Airlines Limited) from Timmins, Ontario.
Serial number B-157 began its career as N123CS with The Citizens and Southern National Bank at Atlanta, Georgia in March 1973.
During the past half century, this aircraft has performed many missions. It has carried corporate executives between major cities, operated as a scheduled airliner between communities in Northern Ontario and hauled cargo onto and off of gravel strips at remote locations.
This aircraft has been modified with Dual Aft Body Strakes designed by Raisbeck Engineering, Inc. of Seattle, Washington.

This time I am adding some color to the lines. I have found this fantastic pen, very versatile. Difficult to find the exact point of how much lines, how much color. Practice practice mantra
Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80. Mixing long-zoom capabilities with multimedia recording versatility, the Lumix DC-FZ80 from Panasonic pairs an expansive 60x zoom lens with high-resolution stills and 4K video shooting functionality. Revolving around an 18.1MP High-Sensitivity MOS sensor, the FZ80 has a top sensitivity of ISO 6400 for working in low-light conditions as well as a 10 fps shooting rate and UHD 4K/30p video recording at 100 Mbps. The 4K capabilities are extended to stills applications, too, and allow for 30 fps shooting at 8MP as well as the ability to use Post Focus for choosing your specific point of focus after shooting. Complementing these imaging assets is a Lumix DC Vario lens, which provides a 20-1200mm equivalent focal length range, along with POWER O.I.S. to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting.
After I got the Sony, I turned this over to my wife Carol. She loves it! It does decent considering the tiny sensor in it (1/2.3") especially if you take a little time in post production. The lens is insane! 3.58-215mm (35 mm equivalent: 20-1200mm)
The versatility of the King Raptor platform allows for numerous weapons loads to be fitted depending on the mission. This particular F-22C is outfitted with a typical air superiority loadout:
- 6x AIM-120G AMRAAMs in the centerline internal bay
- 4x AIM-120G AMRAAMs on pylons under the wings

The Columbian navy has long been divided on the role of cruisers. One school believes they should be fast, lightly armored, and versatile ships, while the opposing party thinks they should be heavily armed and armored and optimized to take down enemy cruisers. After thorough review of the massacre at Oahu (4 heavy cruisers lost in a matter of minutes), strategists realized this is because they sent the lightly armed Hawk-class into battle against superdreads. This was a dumb decision on many levels, not least of which a total reconnaissance failure as to the Aritannians' involvement. Nevertheless, the armored-cruiser school used this as an opportunity to get a heavily armored ship into production.
The Badger-class was originally drafted in early September as a replacement for the Hawk-class. However, when President Stanley discovered the blueprints looked like a chibi dreadnought, he ordered the design to be modified to produce the Mohican. The use of an already-existing hull greatly aided production of the dreadnought, and the Badger's original plans were shoved into a cabinet and forgotten about. With the new allocations for an armored cruiser, however, advocates quickly finished the design, added seaplane catapults, and rushed the Badger into production. That's why so much of the Badger seems familiar- it's technically a precursor to the Mohican.
Almost as large as the Mohican, the Badger-class carries 4x2 8" guns, along with 12 6" secondaries and two of the now-standard quad AA turrets. The Badger carries the same massive torpedo bulges and thick armor as the Mohican and Iroquois, and with the much lighter main armament is able to maintain speeds of 24 knots. Much like the Knight-class light cruiser, this ship is intended to be a powerful support vessel to the dreadnoughts- but despite the protests of their supporters, some say the days of the armored cruiser are already at an end. A new era in naval strategies is dawning, one characterized by destroyers, fast well-armed heavy cruisers, powerful superdreadnoughts and beyond, and perhaps even the Qinese innovation known as the aircraft carrier.
But until then, here's to chibi.
