Wanderer was a German manufacturer of bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, vans and other machinery. Established as Winklhofer & Jaenicke in 1896 by Johann Baptist Winklhofer und Richard Adolf Jaenicke, the company used the Wanderer brand name from 1911, making civilian automobiles until 1941 and military vehicles until 1945.
During the Great Depression, in 1929, the company owner, Dresdner Bank, sold the motorcycle business to František Janeček, and in 1932 divested the rest of Wanderer. The car division with its Siegmar factory became part of Auto Uniontogether with Horch, Audi and DKW.
The Wanderer Siegmar plant (now Chemnitz) of Auto Union were destroyed in early 1945, closing this chapter in the history of automobiles. Post-war efforts to restore East German auto industry concentrated on Auto Union facilities in Zwickau andZschopau: Wanderer car production never recovered. Wanderer managers migrated to West Germany, being instrumental in the recovery of DKW.

After arriving at Plymouth on a day tour from Paignton, passengers had the option to go about their own way, or firstly take the city tour of Plymouth. The tour taking in several historical locations across the city. We see Leons Coach Travel Neoplan Starliner 2, AT14LCT, arriving at the Mayflower Steps. The Mayflower Steps is believed to by the spot where the Pilgim Fathers set sail for America back in 1620 on the Mayflower. The steps that are located there now are not the original steps it's thought the Pilgrim Fathers stepped down back 396 years ago, but a set were constructed at the nearest location they could find going by historical records. Doesn't quite sound so impressive when you put it like this. lol!

Having arrived from Glasgow yesterday, this Mercedes has been purchased by the lemon for a use of spares. It was last with United Coaches and now will donate it's engine, box and body parts for the rest of the fleet.
The vehicle which suffered an incident at Hampstead heath while serving the Route 24 has been out of service since July 25th 2013, after a seven month absence the vehicle is now nearing a return to service. It just awaits paint to be delivered before being prep'd for the road.
The vehicle features in the latest CELF Centre visit.

Kombis sind meist teurer als vergleichbare Limousinen. Gründe sind der Mehraufwand in der Produktion durch die große Heckklappe, zwei weitere Seitenscheiben, die klappbare Rückbank und häufig eine Dachreling, sowie technische Ergänzungen gegenüber der Limousine, wie eine verstärkte Hinterachse oder eine Niveauregulierung.
Die Kombis waren die ersten Fahrzeuge mit umklappbaren Rücksitzen (heute in der Regel teilbar), mit denen sich eine durchgehende Ladefläche von der Heckklappe bis zu den Vordersitzen schaffen ließ.

•• The new platform also enables the engine bay and floor to be lowered (by 50mm for the engine and 20mm for the floor), and the tracks to be widened (by 82mm at the front and 31mm at the rear).
••• A true expression of Citroën’s ‘Créative Technologie’, the seven-seat ‘Technospace’ is available powered by a new BlueHDi 150 engine, which complies with the Euro 6 standard as a result of its innovative Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system - the only technology able to sharply reduce NOx emissions (by 90%), whilst also cutting CO2 emissions. Fitted with the latest-generation 6-speed gearbox to optimise performance and fuel consumption, the BlueHDi 150 unit emits just 110g/km of CO2 emissions (manual) and 117g/km of CO2 for the automatic version.

With both 'Hop 11' branded Transbus Tridents no de-branded from route 11 Torquay-Dawlish Warren, the pair are now to be seen on various routes based out of Torquay depot. Here we see 18131, KN04XJF pausing in Fleet Street, Torquay town centre on route 32. Driver wasn't to pleased about being photographed, stating the usual, "You have to have the permission of the driver to take photos". This is as we know not true, bemuses me what so many have an issue with, If they said they'd rather not be in photos I'd happily cover their identity if they were visible in the photos and I was going to post it online, so long as spoken to in a pleasant way! But as is so often the way the driver is not identifiable in the photo, as usual the darkness of the cab mixed with reflections and the bright light outside hides the id of the person sat there. Could be my Grandpa sat there for all I could tell!!

The M35 family of trucks is a long-lived vehicle initially deployed by the United States Army, and subsequently utilized by many nations around the world. A truck in the 2½ ton weight class, it was one of many vehicles in U.S. military service to have been referred to as the "deuce and a half." While the basic M35 cargo truck is rated to carry 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) off road or 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) on roads, they have been known to haul twice as much as rated. Trucks in this weight class are considered medium duty by the military and Department of Transportation. The M35 series formed the basis for a wide range of specialized vehicles.

Central Buses Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident X602EGK, still in previous owner's EnsignBus colours of blue and silver but looking in good condition stands at One Stop bus station, Perry Barr between assignments on September 15th 2014.
This unregistered vehicle has returned to town in recent days and is being used to further develop the bus, running from the Cummins engine plant. One thing catching a fleeting glimpse of it, another thing getting a picture, this being the result of a gamble that paid off after seeing it earlier
The Avon Fire and Rescue Driver Training BMW, seen here at Avonmouth workshops. I believe this vehicle has since been decommissioned and replaced by a Skoda Octavia.
This vehicle was purchased by Avon Fire and Rescue in 2009, following it's previous life of being a demonstrator. I'm not sure if it was a Police, Ambulance or Fire demonstrator.

Germany's second largest airline, Air Berlin is a primary competitor to Lufthansa... The company was found back in 1978 before commencing regular flights in 1979. Today, the company is partly owned by Etihad Airways with 29.1% shares in the company.
Air Berlin has recently suffered from major losses within the company and is in the midst of restructuring which has already seen the fleet being simplified to an all-Airbus fleet. The Boeing 737 fleet is slowly being wound down whilst the Airbus A320 family becomes the short-haul work-horse, and the Airbus A330 forming the long-haul fleet.
The short-haul fleet continues to gain momentum however, there are 70 Airbus A320 family aircraft in regular service, which include 5 Airbus A319's, 46 Airbus A320's and 19 Airbus A321's. Currently, there is an order for 6 more Airbus A320's... 3 more are to arrive from China Eastern, one from Alitalia (a number have made their way from the Italian carrier) and 2 are brand new to arrive from Airbus.
Alpha Bravo Foxtrot Golf is one of 46 Airbus A320's in service with Air Berlin, delivered new to the carrier in May 2010, currently on lease from Investec and she is powered by 2 CFM International CFM56-5B4/3 engines.
