As hundreds of vehicles raced north and south along Interstate 5, Mother Nature was set upon reminding Seattle that its sumptuous summer season was, without any doubt, over (even though we were made well aware of this the day after summer concluded).
As the threat of a temperamental tempest loomed in the skies above the city, I stood on the overpass, umbrella handy, and watched the city attempt to defy nature’s forces.
In the end, only a few light drizzles came out of the skies. Oddly enough, as I looked at the clouds to the immediate right of the Columbia Center (Seattle’s tallest building), I saw -- and maybe you see it too -- the formation of a smiley face looking down on Seattle. It has two eyes (the left one appears to be winking), a nose, and a broad smile.
It was as though Mother Nature was saying, “Just kidding with you guys down there...”
Alas, I have a vivid imagination when it comes to photography.

Nadat ik hem in Ehs voorbij zag komen ben ik maar op goed geluk naar de achterzijde van station Helmond gegaan. Nadat de stopper voorbij was toonde het sein groen,dat moest cargo zijn! Het was DBC 6416 + DBC 6412 met aan de haak de gasketelwagentrein met UN 1965. Hij gaat verder vanaf hier naar Venlo!

IMPD Lieutenant New Ford Police Interceptor Sedan Slicktop, this is a very clean interceptor. IMPD has to keep there vehicles in clean condition on the outside most of the time.

The Bravia Chaimite is an armored vehicle with all wheel drive axles built by the Portuguese company Bravia and used by the Portuguese Army in the Portuguese colonial wars in Angola, Mozambique and Portuguese Guinea, from 1967 to 1974 when it ended.
There were two versions of the Chaimite, the VBTP V-200 and the VBPM V-600. The VBTP, (Viatura Blindada de Transporte de Pessoal, Armoured Personnel Transport Vehicle), had an 11-man capacity and was armed with one .50 Browning heavy machine-gun, while the VBPM, (Viatura Blindada Porta-morteiro, Armoured Mortar Carrier Vehicle), had only a 4-man capacity and was armed with one Browning .30 heavy machine-gun and one 81 mm mortar. These vehicles had diesel engines with 155 hp (115 kW) at 3300 rpm with automatic gear capable of taking on speeds to a maximum of 99 km/h (62 mph). The armour of this APC was capable of defeating rounds up to 7.62 mm NATO.
The Chaimite is now[when?] being gradually phased out of Portuguese Army service and replaced by the Austrian Pandur II 8x8 APC.
Well, I finally decided to destroy the old 'Hog. I could just never fix the shape. I've completely rebuilt the Warthog, and I'm much more pleased with it.

A real new and eagerly anticipated vehicle to the UK is this new Chinese built Scania Higer Tourer. According to Lee Harry Shaw's should be getting four Scania Higer Tourer's so this could be one of them? Furthermore the NAT Group have received one, I know Skills are due one as well as another company.

I've messed around with this colour scheme in steampunk before, but after getting more dark green parts I couldn't stop myself building a whole range. I thought the aeroplane looked a bit like Thunderbird 2, and so "Imperial Rescue" it is!

This vehicle is based on the mainland, but is seen here on road blocking duties on the Isle of Wight.

Following the example of the British Automobile Association, the Dutch ANWB wanted to start a roadside assistance in 1939. However, WWII prevented the rapid realization of these plans. On April 15, 1946 the first 7 highway patrolmen were active. In 1948 the Wegenwacht had 70 motorcycles with sidecars in use on the Dutch roads.
