A classical Arabic version of the Quranic verse "In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". The style used in this artwork is called the "Tugra" and is of Ottoman origin. It is truly exquisite with its flowing lines and beautiful Arabic letter balance lending to one of my most favourite Arabic calligraphy pieces. I digitized an old hand-written piece that I had come across. Its source was unknown. If i'm not mistaken, it was from an old Turkish papyrus artpiece my dad picked up while there a few years ago.

Gerard Way, front-man of My Chemical Romance

A mash up of the Autobot logo and my character.

Just made this for fun and I’m not too sure what to make of it now that it’s done. I sort of, kind of like it, but I don’t really feel the accomplishment of completing a piece fully base on my own intellectual property.

What are your thoughts on drawing existing pop culture stuff?

Faithful sidekick to a smarter than the av-er-age bear!

The Huckleberry Hound Show was an immediate hit when it premiered in 1958. Huck had the spotlight for the opening cartoon short, but forever humble, he shared the balance of the program with two other sets of cartoon characters: Mr. Jinks & "meeces" Pixie & Dixie, followed by Yogi Bear and his faithful buddy Boo-Boo. Yogi's success skyrocketed, allowing him and Boo-Boo to spin-off onto his own self-titled series in 1961—cementing his place as an icon for the Hanna-Barbera Studio in the decades to follow.

Boo-Boo is the best friend and unwilling conscience to the boisterous (but good-natured) Yogi. He knows he should heed the word of Ranger Smith and forage for nuts and berries, but often joins in on the rewards from Yogi's persistent pic-a-nic basket filching.

Boo-Boo is the first character in this series voiced by Don Messick, who masterfully and dutifully provided sidekick and incidental voices for early H-B productions while most of the lead roles were provided by his friend and voice-over contemporary, Daws Butler. Don's star shined in these cartoons, and in a few short years he landed the role of one of Hanna-Barbera's most enduring characters as the voice of Scooby-Doo.

Propaganda-style poster art I did for Oakley for the 2009 Black Friday weekend. The poster was designed to hang from storefronts. Art direction by Justin Kuttler at Oakley.

The artwork was created from referencing a hand from an old US propaganda poster. I did it all as vector art in Illustrator after sketching it out in Photoshop.

My cool nephew Mason is holding up the poster. The photo was taken on the roof of the building I currently reside in.

A client asked me to create a hashtag#logodesign concept for a recruitment company, his business had different levels, to reflect his philosophy into the design he wants to include a sun into it. So I created a design that includes a person, concentric circles (for different levels), a sun and an "i" initial (for the name). I really like the result. What do you think?

Here begins a new series of square vignette illustrations based on the early Hanna-Barbera TV cartoon characters (roughly 1957 - 1964). A vignette is commonly used in design and philately (the study of stamps/postal history) as an unusual or unique image framing method.

Our inaugural characters are the stars of H-B's Quick Draw McGraw Show (1959). Equine hero and part-time sheriff, Quick Draw McGraw roamed the wild west righting wrongs. Quick Draw usually came out on top, despite the fact most of his adversaries were much brighter than him. When posing as his heroic alter-ego "El Kabong" Quick Draw donned a Zorro-like outfit, quickly delivering off-key justice by whacking crooks over the head with a guitar, shouting (appropriately enough) "KABONG!" — producing one of Hanna-Barbera's most famous sound effects: a delicious, crunching whack accompanied by a loud guitar twang.

Quick Draw's slow, gangly cowboy drawl came courtesy of Hanna-Barbera mainstay and voice-over legend Daws Butler. Along with Don Messick, Daws voiced many of the central H-B characters that will be featured in this series. McGraw is one of the few Hanna-Barbera characters that was not directly based on a celebrity or real-life personality.

my very second adobe illustrator vector illustration.

I present you this new sticker design that will be printed next. Unlike the title of this design suggests it’s going to be the smallest sticker I’ve ever printed (wink wink). Only 5,2cm x 5,2cm, that’s really tiny. I got the idea to use this size from my buddy L.ife who recently printed on the same size.

The benefit of these little stickers will be that I’ll be able to hit all the small undercover spots. I can’t wait to get these in, they’ll be so cute! ^_^

A simple motif created using only the word "Allah" (God) in Arabic. The symmetry of the word allows sleek triangles and squares to be generated, producing a multi-layered and attractive motif.
