We owe a lot to our ancestors, especially when it comes to the martial arts. In class we always pay our respects to each other and also to the young man shown here.
His name is Sensei Hironori Ohtsuka and he is the founder of Wado Ryu Karate (The Way of Peace) which is the style we practice here at MMA in our Karate classes.
Unique in the sense that it has Jujitsu deeply engraved into its fabric and syllabus, making it an all round fighting and defensive art.

I love Indian food! I think I've said that many times now. I was happy to see a new Indian/Pakistani restaurant in my neighbourhood, so I just had to try it. Namak Handi is located at Liverpool Rd. and Kingston Rd.
This dish with half a chicken, rice, salad, naan, and a drink was only $9.99! It was cooked, or finished, to order so it took about fifteen minutes.
It was a very generous serving for the money, making it a good value. It was actually enough for two meals!
I expected a little more flavour but it wasn't bad. I'll go back to try other dishes.
