- It represents value because my guitar has a lot of value to me. It is really important to me.

The white shelf on the desk exemplifies value because the objects sitting towards the back are darker than the objects sitting towards the front. I think this is interesting because I never look at objects like that in terms of value, I usually look at it as a shadow.

I chose this picture for my Element of Design for Value because toward the middle of the picture it is a lighter shade and around the outside of the picture it is shaded darker. Value is the darkness and lightness of a color shade.
