The Town Hall in Wschowa is a valuable monument of the city.
It is mentioned for the first time in 1435. During the fire in 1529 it was partially destroyed, but the tower has survived. The town hall was rebuilt in the years 1556-1612, again damaged during a fire in 1685 and soon rebuilt as a three-storey building with a baroque façade. Today's town hall is the result of reconstruction from 1860-1870 in neo-Gothic style.

This is a vintage porcelain Coca-Cola sign. My research shows that it is from the 1930’s. I think this sign is a 3x5, judging from the size of the exhaust fan above it. I saw a 4x8 sign like this on the internet and the asking price was $9,999. This sign is hanging on the side of an old cinderblock Mom and Pop store which is still in business.

Church of st. Mary Magdalene in Dukla is one of the most valuable Polish rococo churches.
It was built as a gothic one, around 1461, with a brick chancel and a wooden nave. When in 1738 there was a fire in the city, the nave burned down entirely, and the chancel became the basis for the reconstruction of the temple.
The owner of Dukla and the Grand Marshal of the Crown, Józef Wandalin Mniszech, the same one who donated the land for the Bernardine monastery, undertook it. The temple was given a baroque appearance, but another fire and the death of Józef Vandalin in 1747 interrupted the work. They were continued in 1764 by the son of the marshal, Jerzy August Mniszech, supported by his wife, Maria Amalia. It was then that the church's interior acquired a rococo interior and fittings that have survived to this day.

We usually pack a small nylon duffle that is used to carry valuables, electronics, shaving/makeup kits as well as the next days clothing from the car to the accommodations leaving nothing of value other than clothes in our car. I generally even leave the car bags unzipped so that clothes can be seen and should anyone break in they can rifle through things easier without making a big mess or damaging the bags as only an honest man is stopped by a locked door.
Pictured here is the reason we don’t take all our gear everywhere we go, this little street maybe more a passageway is in Moliterno and a great example of why my style of travel off the beaten track uses your transport vehicle as a mobile storage locker. Steep hills, outdoor stair cases, long distance car parks, narrow inside stairs are just a few hurdles that you may have to traverse before getting to your room add a full load of camera gear and you quickly develop a minimalist packing strategy.
People have been living in the area since the Bronze Age but this was in a city that was called Grumentum, where Moliterno sits now was once just a watch tower built by the Lombard’s that served Grumentum to warn of danger. The Saracens fought the Lombard’s in the 10th century until the city Grumentum was destroyed, the survivors found refuge at the site of the watch tower and built houses around it beginning the city of Moliterno. When the Normans took over the area in the 11th century the watch tower was replaced with the fortress that still dominates the skyline, protects the town and nowadays attracts the tourists.

These photos are very valuable to me, the reason is that it is not possible to see Şirince village snowy or to take photos.
because it seldom snows in Sirince Village, in fact it does not snow at all for years.
A village of the Aegean.
Sirince as a former Greek village. In the 19th century, the famous fig production, was one Greek town. Population exchange between Greece and Turkey in 1923 with the departure of the results of the Greeks, were settled by emigrants from Kavalav to Somokol village. The famous wine-producing village. 1938 Bentley Pourtout (French) 4 1/4 Litre Aerodynamic Coupe' in all it's sleek and slippery glory!
One of the rarest and most valuable Bentleys in the world, the 4¼-Litre 'Embiricos' special featured at Pebble Beach.
Throughout the 1930s Bentley Motors, then owned by Rolls-Royce, was producing fast, refined and well-built Grand Tourers from its Derby factory. While many customers sent their chassis to traditional coachbuilders such as Vanden Plas, H.J. Mulliner or Park Ward for elegant bodywork, enthusiasts from across the Channel, where the roads were longer and faster, were eager to explore the new world of aerodynamics. With the support of the factory, one such owner decided to investigate the possibility of a streamlined high-performance Bentley. The result was the most famous Bentley of the Derby era.
André Embiricos was a wealthy Greek racing driver living in Paris. Walter Sleator, the company's Paris agent, put him in touch with Georges Paulin, a designer working for coachbuilders Pourtout Carrossier. Únder Paulin's guidance Pourtout produced a strikingly sleek, aerodynamic body for a 4¼-Litre Derby Bentley that would be suitable for fast touring and track records alike. To keep weight down the fastback body with split rear window was crafted in Duralumin, an age-hardenable aluminium alloy.
The 'Embiricos' Bentley fulfilled all the criteria for a Bentley high performance grand tourer, achieving a timed 114.64 mph (184.5 km/h) over an hour at Brooklands, yet being civilised enough for Embiricos to use as a road car. Embiricos sold his unique Bentley late in 1939 to H.S.F. Hay who raced it in three post-war Le Mans 24-hour races, achieving a commendable 6th place in 1949.
The trend of streamlined aerodynamic coachwork was especially strong in France, with noted designer George Paulin and coachbuilder Pourtout Carrossier of Duralumin at the forefront. It was their collaboration with Embiricos which culminated with this sleek, lightweight aluminum alloy fast-back coachwork fitted to a 4.25-Litre Derby Bentley. Finished in 1938, it was everything the financier had asked for: state-of-the-art, beautiful, light and fast.
At the time, Paulin was one of France's leading aerodynamic designers; he was very conscious of the wind-cheating efficiencies that could be created through form, and often comfort was sacrificed to obtain a body shape as near as possible to the aerodynamic ideal.
The coachwork, designed by Georges Paulin, was built by Marcel Pourtout. Comfort was sacrificed in order to obtain a shape as near as possible to the aerodynamic ideal. This 4.25 Litre Bentley was fitted with a high ratio back axle and a four-speed gearbox with overdrive, which suited Europe's increasingly fast road network.
Embiricos lent the car to Walter Sleator of Franco-Britannic Automobiles, the Rolls-Royce and Bentley agent in France, for testing on the new German Autobahn network, and the car set records for speed and road-holding there that no Bentley road car had previously come close to achieving.
It was clocked at 114.64 mph (184.5 km/h) for over an hour at Brooklands before World War II prevented further racing. After having driven 100,000 miles, this car then competed in the 24 Hours of LeMans in 1949, 1950 and 1951. Its best result at LeMans was a sixth place finish in 1949.

Arnota Monastery is located in Costeşti commune, Vâlcea County, Oltenia, and it is one of Romania’s most valuable monuments, famous for its architectural style, sculptures and paintings. Initially a monastery for monks, today it is (since 1999) a convent for nuns. It is consecrated to Saint Archangels Michael and Gabriel and its dedication day is 8 November.
The monastery was erected by ruling prince Matei Basarab (1632-1654), between 1634-1636. Under the church of the monastery were found the traces of an older church. It is said that the ruler Matei Basarab decided to build this monastery on the site of the household where he found shelter in a difficult time, when he was chased by the Turks.
The monastery was renovated by ruling prince Constantin Brâncoveanu (1689-1714) between 1705 and 1706. He also added a porch with a belfry, and replaced the iconostasis and the front door carved in chestnut wood. He ordered the painting to be restored, with special precautions not to damage the previous layers.

Tastes great Kool-Aid Kool-Aid can't wait.
This is more valuable to me then anything I have, other then my family. When I was a kid I remember this being in our fridge filled with Kool-Aid and we always had Kool-Aid. When we got older I asked my Mom that when the time came I would very much like to have this. A few yrs later she gave to me and said "You should enjoy it now rather then having it sit in my china cabinet" So Kool-Aid isn't in it but cranberry juice is and the kids (grandkids) now they CAN NOT touch this. I would freak out if it ever broke.
We were not by any means wealthy but we were rich with Love. My Dad say this and thought right away of my Mom - he saw at a Garage sale and bought for her for 25 cents which when yoy make $30.00 a week was a small fortune. My Mom cried when he gave to her - she said it was so beautiful.
I really is - it is hand painted and bottom is # but hard for me to actually see. I did have it appraised out of curiosity and it was valued at $2,450.00 (I asked My Mom if she wanted back) 😁
