HPTSS to all :)

For those interested, I did a slight blur on the carpet edge, a bit of cropping and some level adjustment. Oh, and added a vacuum cleaner eating carpet snake.

The Convertible: 1957 ushered in the "long, low and rarin' to go" Convertible. The name derives from the cleaner's ability to 'automatically shift' into a higher speed upon insertion of the tool converter for more powerful above the floor cleaning. Beginning with the Model 65, it soon became one of the most popular and well known cleaners in American history. The Convertible line was in production from 1957 to the early 1990s, and is still sold in variations in the commercial sector. The "Convertible" was also widely sold in the UK under the name "Senior" the Senior Cleaners were viewed to be the model for larger homes, and although it never outsold the Junior in Britain, it was still a massively popular cleaner.

Did you know this: before the invention of the hairdryer, it was common for men and women to dry their hair using a vacuum cleaner!

Tiny people with big heads invade my house. They make no noise and don't empty the fridge, but they do take over just about any object here, even my coffee machine or slippers ...

Romuald Hazoumè (born 1962 in Porto Novo) is an artist from the Republic of Bénin, best known for his work La Bouche du Roi, a reworking of the 1789 image of the slave ship Brookes.

Hazoumè is also known for his mask series. He started this phase of his art in the mid-1980s. These masks, made from discarded gasoline canisters, resemble those used in traditional African culture and ceremonies. In explaining these works, Hazoumè has said: “I send back to the West that which belongs to them, that is to say, the refuse of consumer society that invades us every day.”

"First of all, I have to tell you, this is not a paid advertisement, I'm doing this on my own free will and gladly to do it." "We have 2 vacuum cleaners as a matter of fact. We liked the first one so much, we bought a second one and we're going to give the other one to my daughter." "I never thought that I would like doing household chores so much until I got the vacuum cleaner. It makes everything very easy! You've got a long cord to take the vacuum anywhere you want to go. The suction hose has got plenty of length to go any room in your home. The different types of brushes accommodate any type of service you might need, rugs, floor, linoleum. The service is exceptional! We brought one in the other day and within a day it was back and everything was changed and brand new and is running like a champ. I don't know what else I can say, other than, your crazy not to buy one. I do have a cat, for you pet owners, wonderful! It picks up the hair on the furniture, the floors, I have a long hair cat to boot and it does a wonderful job, no complaints."

A Gift from my Daughter & Grandaughter.

We opened our gifts and I got an i7+ Roomba iRobot Vacuum Cleaner. It's cleaned the whole downstairs already, what a great little helper!

Henry is a simple & effective mains electricity powered machine. The suction is very good, it's quiet in operation and it's bag is huge meaning it doesn't need changing very often. He is built in the UK and is very reasonably priced too.

We have one at work, I rather like it. At least he greets me cheerfully every morning and doesn't bleat on about inconsequental bollocks like humans do.

Part of my vacuum cleaner! I always seem to get distracted when doing the housework!

Dumped hoover.

No dust in the house that has a 'Whirlwind'. From a 1927 catalogue of hardware by Richard Johnson, Clapham & Morris Ltd. of Trafford Park, Manchester, hardware wholesalers.

Stockholm, Sweden. These things are called punschrulle or dammsugare, which translates to dust sucker which means "vacuum cleaner." They look like an old Swedish vacuum cleaner, hence the name.

Punsch is a sweet Swedish alcholic drink. The inside of these is made from cake crumbs held together with butter. Heathy, oh yea.

One of my shots from the pastry counter at a Stockholm grocery store.

These things are good with coffee or milk.

My great grandmother used this vac! My grandmother used it! My mother uses it and I use it and all the next generations of Sibirski Punks will use it too!!!!I

"I love my vacuum cleaner. We really put it through the mill. It takes a lot of cleaning to look after 50 dogs a day and that thing has never, never skipped a beat." "I bring in once a year, they rebuild the whole thing, I get a brand new vacuum cleaner back and I loved it so much, I bought a second one for my daughter." "I can highly recommend not only the product but the service as well."

"We actually have a 12 foot hose on it, which makes it very easy, we have a much longer cord as well, so instead of having to use the vacuum all time, the upright, we can actually use the tools. They're fantastic, they're great for fabrics, they're great for drapes and things like that, they also work really well in corners and carpets."

"It's a perfect product, I can highly recommend it!" "We use rubber floors and it even cleans those. They look absolutely pristine when we finish."

"Absolutely fantastic! You know, you buy something, in these days, to have someone take care of the whole thing for you, make sure it's just perfect and It doesn't fall apart, it does everything we need it to do." "We have floors, we have carpets, we have stairs, we have pets, we have kids. It works great!" "It also gets a lot of use, my kids and my wife, vacuum at least once a day and that vacuum has gone solid since the day I bought it." "It has the long cord, we also have the hose attachment which is very long. We can place the vacuum in the middle of the room and do everything we want, whether it's dusting, upholstery, [it reaches] anywhere we can go with it. [Service], it's quick, it's complete, everything is the way it's supposed to be and it's service that you don't get these days, it's very good!"
