I'd looked at the weather forecast earlier in the week, and decided today would be a good day to do the cleaning - cloudy and potentially wet outside. That proved to be the case, but it brightened up later on so I enjoyed a walk round the village before getting the tea.

When I'm cleaning, it's an opportunity to look at things, and see what might need some attnetion. My Dad's old photo album cried out for a bit of TLC this morning - The cover was ripped and loose, and barely hanging on! The material was very thin, so I just did some emergency work to make it more stable and hold together better. It was good to have another look through the old photos once I'd done it. There were some pics of Dad's adoptive parents, and himself as a baby and young child, his first girlfriend (before Mum), and plenty of Mum and her family too. They were both born in spring 1924.

It was very humid today, so I vacuumed in my vest, which made it more comfortable. Later I had time to do some LEGO sorting, and was pleased to find these two pieces, in my boxes of random bits, which I needed to complete one of the models.
