DIe Appletastatur ist ja echt schick, und es schreibt sich auch gut darauf, aber man sollte doch dran denken, die Staubsaugerleistung herunterzuregeln, wenn man versucht den – leider viel zu gut sichtbaren – Staub aus der edlen Plexiglashülle zu entfernen. So ne Taste ist schnell eingesaugt...

These things have become rather common, but when I first saw this view after they were installed near where I live, I thought, OK, yes I am living in 2023, at least the 2023 we were all told we'd be lucky enough to live in when we grew up, a future that would look *futuristic*, where even mundane things like vacuum cleaner racks at car washes would look *cool* because ... why wouldn't they?
You'd certainly expect them to look this way if an away team from the Enterprise were to suddenly materialize nearby ...

So I bought a new vacuum cleaner a few years back. It is one of those cool Dyson vortex ones. As I was unpacking the machine, I geeked out on how "futuristic" the design of the pieces were. So, I decided that before I used it I would take some shots of the pieces that I found most fascinating. I augmented the "futuristic" feel of the pieces a bit by adding some background of my screen saver. I also set some of the pieces on top of my lighted mousepad to add more color effects. In some shots I also used my air purifier which is a clear globe and matched up well with the design of the vacuum cleaner pieces. I also did a few overexposed shots as if the cylinder was glowing.

Yes, it looks harmless enough, but the little blighter is dreaming up ways of injuring me and causing inconvenience. The latter includes pushing flip-top bins back so their lids will no longer open. I don't like to mention the former within earshot, though suffice to say that toes are vulnerable.
