On April 3rd 2020 Venus passed through the Pleiades Star cluster. At 20:20 UTC I made images of Venus in the Pleiades and combined this image with an earlier image that I took of the Pleiades with the same setup.
This is the result showing Venus during its transit through the Pleiades.

Bargain browsing on BrickOwl.com led me to modestly priced Lime bricks, which led me to this... The Venus Brick Trap, watch your fingers!
Venus shines like a bright beacon through the rings of Saturn in this unique image taken by the international Cassini spacecraft on 10 November 2012 when the spacecraft was placed in the shadow of Saturn. This allowed Cassini to look in the direction of the Sun and take a backlit image of the planet and its rings. The view was obtained at a distance of approximately 802 000 km from Saturn and looks toward the unilluminated side of the rings from about 17 degrees below the ring plane. The image scale is 44 km per pixel.

Actually a fountain just in the middle of the Piazza Mercato del Pesce (fish market) in Trapani, Sicily. Built in the late 19th century, this statue of Venus is not far from the Cathedral. There is some tension between the two. In antiquity, the fishermen would go for the protection of Venus. But memory is a long one in Sicily. Mary, the Virgin, did not simply "replace" Venus, she took her under her wings.
Processed using UV (365nm, 283nm) filtered images of Venus taken by Akatsuki's UVI on August 31 2020.

Real eyes. Real colors.
I met her at the Techno Parade in Paris. I forgot to ask her name....
I've already known a girl form Morocco with such intense amazing eyes. Hard to believe even when you look at her directly.

Shot during the conjuction of Jupiter and Venus late February and early March 2023.
Even though Jupiter is more than 1500 times bigger than Venus, it is much further away and therefore it is the smaller dot in the sky.

Processed using infrared and ultraviolet (IR1, IR2, UV1 [283nm, 365nm]) filtered images of Venus taken by Akatsuki on August 25 and September 5 2016.

while taking a shot of this venus fly trap i noticed that one of its traps had a meal. so, how cool is that!
The beautiful waning crescent of Venus imaged during the evening of 13.05.20.
Now presenting an illuminated phase of 12.9% at the time of imaging.
This is an IR filtered image of the planet obtained using a Celestron C8 SCT and a ZWO 290MM camera equipped with a Baader IR pass filter.
The greenhouse effect produces on Venus a surface temperature of 460°C.
In homage to the goddess of love, feb 14.
Reasonable seeing conditions here on the evening of the 07.04.20 allowed me to capture an image of blazing Venus - which is spectacular and unmistakable as it shines brightly in the western sky.
The planet is growing in apparent size - unfortunately its phase is also decreasing as its orbital motion carries it further around the sun and nearer the earth.
This is a false coloured UV/IR composite image to reveal some cloud structure in the Venusian atmosphere. A combination of two filters is used. Data from an IR pass filter is mapped to the red channel, that from a UV filter is mapped to the blue channel and a synthetic green channel is produced from a blend of both.
Imaged with a Celestron C8 SCT and a ZWO 290MM camera via Baader IR pass and Venus U filters.
Very pleased with this as an SCT or any scope employing glass lenses is not the best for UV work as some tends to be absorbed by the glass elements.
For this reason optimum results are usually obtained with reflector telecopes.
taken on the July Full Moon with Venus, Jupiter setting ( just visible to the West ) and the full Moon rising in the East
Taken with a Celestron NexStar 6se, 2x barlow, ZWO ASI174MM camera. Use nIR and OIII filters to roduce a pseudo-color.
Venus has been very apparent lately in the SSW sky. This was two hours ago, about ten minutes' walk from our house. I balanced the camera on the bridge rail and thus had to make do with a tilt of several degrees. So I turned the image somewhat to make up for it.
my first personal encounter with this beautiful carnivorous plant that i only used to see in photos, the venus fly trap

Decided to enjoy the sunset. It was worth sitting out in the cold for this. The sky put on quite the spectacular show.
Images of Venus from 26th December 2016 to 4th February 2017. The change in phase and apparent size is apparent once you compare images taken over a period of time, the planet seemingly getting larger and the phase smaller as it progresses between us and the Sun
Celestron Edge HD11, ASI174MM camera
All images have an IR filtered images mapped to the red channel, a UV filtered imaged mapped to blue and a synthetic green channel comprised of 50/50 red/blue
Managed to capture an image of our nearest planetary neighbour Venus during the afternoon of the 26.03.20.
This is a false colour UV/IR filtered composite image in order to reveal some cloud definition in the thick atmosphere of the planet. Some brightening is evident at both poles.
The IR filter is mapped to red, the UV filter to blue and the green channel is a blend of both.
Imaged with a Celestron C8 and a ZWO 290MM camera.
Evening in Colorado, with the glow of the earth reflecting off the moon with Venus as the evening star.
The planet Venus makes first contact with the limb of the crescent moon in this photo taken during daylight and through high clouds on December 7, 2015 at 8:06AM PST.
This photo shows the peak of the conjunction and the beginning of the eclipse (occultation) of the planet Venus by the crescent moon. This event was the only occultation of the planet Venus by the moon that could be seen from the northern hemisphere during all of 2015. The last time that an occultation of Venus was visible from North America was in August 2012. The next similar event won't happen until August 1, 2019.
Image capture was done with a 5 inch aperture, f/4.2 refractor telescope and a ZWO ASI174MM camera using a Baader 7nm hydrogen alpha bandpass filter to darken the daytime sky.
