A tutto vapore il treno storico di Fondazione FS e Adriavapore! Il consueto appuntamento autunnale con il Treno delle Castagne da Rimini a Marradi ha visto quest'anno protagonista la "Regina" Gr685.196, qui ripresa nei pressi di Brisighella, di cui si scorge sullo sfondo la caratteristica rocca.
164 photos merged together using the lighten layer-blending mode in photoshop. A timelapse of cumulonimbus clouds rising and falling creating these smooth hills in the sky. Viewed as a timelapse video, they look more like explosions. This one will be in my next timelapse video college.
Tren especial de vapor del dia de la madre Chur-Filisur-Landquart-Chur con la RhB 107 "Albula" al frente, como curiosidad 6 locomotoras de este modelo terminaron sus dias en el Ferrocarril de La Robla aunque por desgracia no se conservó ninguna. Rhäzüns 13/05/2018

A perfectly positioned and illuminated moon provided the lighting for this shot, you can still see the stars in the sky if you look closely. The clouds were moving along pretty fast which provided some killer action in the sky.

Vista desde la Popa, Timón y hélice de bronce.
El SS Dunraven fue construido en Inglaterra en el año 1873, con 82 mts de eslora y 10 de manga y se le consideraba rápido para la época al combinar la navegación a vela (contaba con dos mástiles) y la propulsión de una caldera de vapor. Su ruta era la de las especias, entre Bombay e Inglaterra; siendo operado por la naviera Milburn de Londres.
A tan solo tres años de su botadura, choco contra el extremo sur del arrecife Sha´Ab Mahmud, concretamente sobre la zona del mismo conocida como Beacon Rock.
Toda su tripulación fue rescatada ilesa tras diez horas a la deriva en los botes salvavidas. El SS Dunraven transportaba en el momento de su hundimiento un cargamento de maderas y algodón.

This was taken just outside of Mudgee. The weather conditions seemed to be just right for the plain trails to stay floating in the sky for a long time after the plain had gone. This left an amazing web of crisscross lines in the sky
