Utilizing my new drone, I flew out to UP 7400 since the area was inaccessible by foot or vehicle. I can already tell that this was a good investment.
In a continuing attempt to utilize Flickr as my off-board memory (thus assuring one day this site will disappear, and along with it all my precious memories), today I'm going to surf, eat pumpkin pie, play some video games and...that's it! Maybe surf Again.
The idea of driving a significant distance to eat my least-favorite holiday foods with people I enjoy one-on-one but rarely enjoy when they're all together (I'm not a big fan of large social gatherings in general, all filler, no thriller)...that idea is really repellant to me, so nope, I'm hanging out at home.
Hanging out at home waking up early and posting to Flickr! My dream life!
I was hoping to shoot Tarren the other week, she was in town from Germany, but work kept my schedule too erratic, so I missed out, all I've got are the, well, hundreds of photos I've already taken of her, like this one!
I could've done this one vertical, but I like the Real Life around her, the dishes, the sink, the other window, adds necessary texture for me.
And now, I go to the ocean!
As I already did in 2016, I once again utilized a sleepless night in April to try for some natterjack portraits in early morning light. When life gives you insomnia you might as well make some photography out of it.
So I ventured out around 5:00 a.m. to have a look at a translocation sight to where parts of a larger population were transplanted. The original habitat had to make way for a larger urban development project. Available evidence seems to suggest that wildlife relocation is not necessarily an ideal compensation measure (especially when conducted on smaller populations) and should always be a well considered step with tight monitoring of results. Nonetheless it seems to still be used quite nonchalantly - and sometimes conducted sloppily - when financial interests are on the line.
I very much like the light and mood the situation provided but still have to overcome the need to shoot on the lowest possible ISO setting as evidenced by the gular pumping action of the toad resulting in motion blurr. For some reason I just can't deal with image noise. Just one of these moments, where I wish I could afford one of the fancier camera bodies with a stronger ISO perfomance.

The City walls of Innsbruck are rendered and coloured. This small feature sits about 15 foot above the ground and caught my interest.
The Ottoburg, a tower originally used for housing people, lies in the center of the historic part of Innsbruck. It was constructed by Maximilian I in 1494 and is used as a wine house and restaurant today, utilizing the historic rooms as beautiful settings. The tower-like, four-storey building is the oldest building in the Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. On the side facing the Inn is the so-called Plattner memorial, dedicated to the brave freedom-fighters of 1809. Right next to the building are the ruins of the old city walls.
The bridge was built by The City of Calgary to connect the southern Bow River pathway and Downtown Calgary with the northern Bow River pathway and the community of Sunnyside. This connection was designed to accommodate the increasing number of people commuting to and from work and those utilizing Calgary's pathways. The bridge is reportedly used by 6000 people a day and has ranked among the top 10 architectural projects in 2012 and among the top 10 public spaces of 2012.

Some oldschool stuff, from the first huuuge IR safaris utilizing the Tamron 24mm 3-row setup.
So there is a pretty narrow, deep valley between two mountain ridges, but in the middle it goes up to ~1000m in altitude (despite being a 'valley'), lovely for cycling!, so naturally the water accumulates from both sides from the mountains, but the pass in between is kind of divider, making the water flow out the valley in opposite directions.
One side got ravished by storm not too long ago, that's where I did the lost gorge series, but this pano is from the other side with quite low water levels. I was just there recently, took a few (IR) photos, but apported my mission cause it was quite sketchy and arduous due to tons of water.

The BTL-B Y-wing starfighter was an assault starfighter/bomber that flew combat missions for the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.
This model had a full covering of the primary fuselage and engines. A bubble-turret provided clear view for the gunner.
The BTL-B was designed as a bomber, using such weapons as proton bombs. The bubble-turret utilized two light ion cannons for defense against enemy starfighters. It also was equipped with two medium laser cannons mounted on the front of the starfighter.
It possessed a hyperdrive system allowing them to jump into hyperspace without relying on a carrier or hyperspace ring. To aid them in their operations, they also made use of an astromech droid.
Hey people! Here are a couple of posters of my moc of the battlefront 2 Y-Wing!
They’re supposed to he inspired by the artistic posters from the BF2 game.
It is 60 cm long, 30 cm wide and 10 cm tall (with landing gear).
It is made out of 3270 pieces.
This model is a couple of cm bigger than it should but I think it enters the category of minifigure scale.
Hope you like it! 😁

Bay Colony Railroad GP9 1706 pulls an empty centerbeam from Dartmouth Building Supply, one of two active customers on the BCLR Watuppa branch. This customer doesn't normally utilize this spur but unloads cars on an open area on the main, so it was nice to get the crew make this rather uncommon move. The two GP9s pictured are the sole power for this short branchline which runs roughly 10 miles between the Mass Coastal interchange in New Bedford and Mid City Scrap in Westport, MA, the other active customer on the line. Known for its many earthworm grain trains, the Fallbridge Sub in the Columbia Gorge can be monotonous at times with fleets of westbound grain trains utilizing the easy gentle grade along the Columbia River to deliver to exports along the West Coast. Berlin is a true gem for history lovers, as it is full of corners where many events of its long history as a city and also as the capital of Germany took place.
The so-called "Albert Speer Candelabra" (in German "Speer Kandelaber", also called "OWA Kandelaber", OWA are the German initials for "Ost-West-Achse" because they were part of the East-West Axis project, which in turn was one of the parts of the project "Germania Capital of the World", in German "Welthauptstadt Germania").
These candelabra were part of this East-West Axis from the Brandenburg Gate, for seven kilometers to what is now called Theodor-Heuss-Platz (in honor of the first President of Germany after World War II), which was previously called Adolf-Hitler-Platz and before that also Reichskanzlerplatz.
These candelabra were designed by the Berlin Energy and Light Limited Company (Berliner kraft- und licht-Aktiengesellschaft), because they had to meet a special lighting requirement along the entire Axis, which had to span a bridge over the Canal Landwehr at the Charlottenburg gate, without raising the bridge height too much and yet the channel had to remain navigable.
Albert Speer designed the outside of those candelabra.
Part of these candelabra, more like street lamps, had to be dismantled on the avenue now known as Avenue of June 17 ("Straße des 17. Juni", which was then called "Charlottenburger Chaussee"), since the part of the avenue that it is included between the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column, in the last weeks of World War II, during the Battle of Berlin when the city's airports were no longer usable, as they were taken over by the Red Army, it was used for the take off and landing of Luftwaffe aircrafts.
Some 800 candelabra have been preserved since 1936, which have been repaired several times and are among the few remaining living vestiges of that megalomaniac project called "Germania World Capital", and despite the past time they continue to have a modern design reminiscent of works of art arising from the time of the Staatliche Bauhaus.
Petra (Arabic: البتراء, Al-Batrāʾ; Ancient Greek: Πέτρα), originally known as Raqmu (Nabataean Arabic: الرقيم), is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan. Petra lies on the slope of Jabal Al-Madbah in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah valley that run from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Established possibly as early as the 4th century BC as the capital city of the Nabataean Kingdom. The Nabataeans were nomadic Arabs who invested in Petra's proximity to the trade routes by establishing it as a major regional trading hub.
The trading business gained the Nabataeans considerable revenue, and Petra became the focus of their wealth. The earliest recorded historical reference to the city was when an envious Greek dynasty attempted to ransack the city in 312 BC. The Nabataeans were, unlike their enemies, accustomed to living in the barren deserts, and were able to repel attacks by utilizing the area's mountainous terrain. They were particularly skillful in harvesting rainwater, agriculture and stone carving. The Kingdom's capital continued to flourish until the 1st century AD when its famous Al-Khazneh facade was constructed, and its population peaked at an estimated 20,000 inhabitants.
Encroaching troops of the Roman Empire in 106 AD forced the Nabataeans to surrender. The Romans annexed and renamed the Kingdom to Arabia Petraea. Petra's importance declined as sea trade routes emerged, and after a 363 earthquake destroyed many structures. The Byzantine Era witnessed the construction of several Christian churches. By 700, the city became an abandoned place where only a handful of nomads grazed goats. It remained an unknown place until it was rediscovered by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812, sparking renewed interest in the city.
The city is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved. It is a symbol of Jordan, as well as Jordan's most-visited tourist attraction. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. UNESCO has described it as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage

Superuse Studios is a Rotterdam based architecture office of Cesare Peeren, Willem Coenen, Bart Lentze and Mel Feldmuller. They utilize the contextual potential for design. A design is not considered as the beginning of a linear process but as a phase in a continuous cycle of creation and recreation, use and reuse.
Superuse Studios re-appropriates unwanted materials into architectural structures and is known for their innovative projects focusing on sustainable design within the fields of architecture, urban design and research. Three projects that highlight their strategies and design approach are ‘design shoe store’, ‘the miele space station’ and their ‘wikado’ urban furniture.
The Miele Space Station was one of Superuse Studios early trials in reuse architecture in 2003, its final destination is based at the faculty of architecture in Delft where it served as an espresso bar. Its futuristic appearance of a space station is composed of modules where it can be configured to different programs- even suited for living accommodation.

The Old North Church (officially Christ Church) was designed by William Price in 1723. This church was utilized by Paul Revere and his compatriots to send a signal out to Charlestown on if the British were coming by land and sea. The Old North Church is on the National Register #66000776, and is also a National Historic Landmark. It is also part of the Boston National Historical Park, National Register #74002222.

It is a small museum which has quite a few examples of the old technology of the 'Wild West', like stage coach, wagons, bits of rail machinery, etc, Look at the size of that headlight! I expected to be bored, but when I thought about it, I remembered that this technology was all the people had to utilize on a daily basis, unlike us with our advanced technology and cars, I found it quite fascinating. How hardy these people were! I'm not sure I'd like to be travelling the countryside on the old bone-shaker of a stagecoach such as I saw on display, especially when I think of the comfort of the tour buses on which I have traveled.

Like, From DC Are Some Figs, What.
Gordon Batman: Mostly made him to utilize that stripey arm.
Obligatory Terrible Trio because I got the fox mask: Used older suits cause they were available.
King Shark: His jaw is crooked, and I'll never forgive myself.
Captain Cold: Has boots.
Forager: Not the perfect head, but there isn't really one. Darn you Jack for your wildly specific, iconic designs.
Bronze Tiger: How many Tiger figs can one man make? Let's find out.
Doctor Light: He's back, baby.
Tally Man: Stolen from Duncan, mostly.
Azrael: My favorite of these. The main cape's neck-holes are actually clipped onto the back of the armor via flat studs. The ribbony cape is actually around the neck. It's occured to me that you can see neither cape really, so this is redundant.
Abattoir: I made him because no one else had.
Mister Bloom: Spooky scary skeletons.
Lemme know what you think, eh?

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route crosses Honshu's Northern Alps (Hida Mountains) in Chūbu-Sengaku National Park. We made the crossing from east to west in seven stages over two days utilizing three tunnels and five different modes of transport. Stage one began at Ogizawa Station (elevation 1,433 m, 4,701 ft.) from which we took a trolley bus 6.1 km (3.8 mi.) through a tunnel to Kurobe Dam Station (elevation 1,470 m, 4,823 ft.). We then walked 0.5 km (0.3 mi.) across the Kurobe Dam to Kurobeko Station (elevation 1,455 m, 4,774 ft.) where we boarded a 0.8 km (0.5 mi.) underground funicular railway to Kurobedaira Station (elevation 1,828 m, 5,997 ft.). We then took the Tateyama Ropeway (cable car) 1.7 km (1.1 mi.) to Daikanbō Station (elevation 2,316 m. 7,598 ft.) where we took another trolley bus through a 3.7 km (2.3 mi.) tunnel to Murodo Station (elevation 2,450 m, 8,038 ft.) and the Hotel Tateyama, where we spent the night. The following morning we boarded a Tateyama Highland Bus and descended 23 km (14.3 mi.) along a paved, winding road to Bijodaira Station (elevation 977 m, 3,205 ft.) where we boarded a funicular railway and descended 1.3 km (0.8 mi.) to Tateyama Station (elevation 475 m, 1,558 ft.).

Origins of the Tibetan Nomads
Tibetans are believed to be descended from a mixture of the ancient peoples that populated the plateau around 15,000 years ago and the Qiang nomads of ancient northern China, that migrated south to the plateau around 11,000 years ago. These migrant Chinese integrated with the earlier residents of the plateau, and the typical nomadic life of the ancient Tibetan people began in earnest.
In later years, the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo, built his empire on the backs of the Nomads. The strength of that empire was based on the fact that Gampo could utilize the huge number of Tibetan nomads as a mobile army and expand the frontiers of his lands further. This was also the way that the Mongolian Empire, under the rule of Genghis Khan, expanded to the edges of the Tibetan plateau, and interacted with the Tibetan nomads in around the 13th century.
Longs Drug Store located at 9120 Alcosta Blvd. in San Ramon,CA. Notice that this store still utilizes both sets of its doors whereas a number of Longs locations closed off one to reduce shoplifting (among other things). This store now operates under the CVS name and within one week of the completed remodel just about everything from Longs is removed.
The Economic Stimulus Act stimulated me to act upon my urge to purchase these Yotsuba&! (Yotsuba-to) Revoltech figures. After seeing all the creative ideas utilizing these characters from other photographers, I knew I just had to get these figures.
Wheeling 430 utilizes trackage rights over the CF&E's Lima district for interchange in Lima and is seen here heading back for home rails to the East. This was one of the first ever successful chases I attempted after really getting into railfanning. There were quite a few railfans out this day too, as the move had made a lot of noise in the railfan community since it would be in perfect morning light leaving Lima.

Hello Everyone & happy Saturday! I hope you are all having an amazing start to your weekend :) Today I will be sharing the first set of shots for, dare I say, what might be my absolute favourite project that The Design Firm has completed to date! This project was commissioned by our repeat clients, Maejorm & Danni. Our clients requested a Hamptons styled landscape, with a ton of foliage & white flowers. For those of you who have been following us along our design Journey, you will know that we accept many modern/tropical styled landscapes. What some of you may not know, however, is that WE LOVE projects with a more Hamptons or Connecticut styled landscape! Don't get me wrong, we love our modern/tropical style projects, however, it's always nice turn on parts of our design brains that we don't always get to utilize, by taking on different styled or themed projects!
In this first set of photos, you will mainly see the road/tunnel that leads you up to the home & surrounding area, as well as the entrance, motor court & front garden/lawn of the home. In the next couple of days, I will post the second set of photos that showcase the back of the home, which is an absolute entertainers paradise! On a side note, I think that these photos turned out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and that is all thanks to our phenomenal photographer, Sean. He just has a way to bring our projects to life, in a way that I was never able to (look at the photos I took of our older projects & you'll see HAHA) Thank you so much, Sean, for allowing our work to be showcased in the absolute best possible light! <3
As always, my team & I thank you so much for following us along our design journey & supporting The Design Firm! The support is honestly what keeps us going.
Lastly, I always recommend viewing my photos in full screen mode when able! This allows you to see the true depth and detail of the spaces that my colleagues and I create for our clients.
P.S. If you would like to know the name of the store or designer who has created any of the pieces that you see in this photo, please feel free to send me a notecard in world (Brinks Lemmon) or send me a Flickr/Facebook message and I'd be happy to send you the store/designer information.

The red-necked falcon usually hunts in pairs, often at dawn and dusk, sometimes utilizing a technique in which one of the pair flies low and flushes up small birds while the other follows higher up and seizes the prey as it flushes from cover. They fly with a fast and dashing flight.
It prefers to prey on birds found in open areas and some of the species it has been recorded to hunt are Eurasian tree sparrow (Passer montanus), house sparrow (Passer domesticus), white-browed wagtail (Motacilla madaraspatensis), rosy starling (Sturnus roseus), chestnut-tailed starling (Sturnus malabaricus), Indian cuckoo (Cuculus micropterus), Kentish plover (Charadrius alexandrinus), little ringed plover (Charadrius dubius), ashy-crowned finch-lark (Eremoptrix griseus), besides robins, quails, babblers, swifts, bulbuls, pipits, larks (mainly Calandrella, Alauda, Galerida sp.), pied cuckoo (Clamator jacobinus), rock pigeon (Columba livia), collared dove (Streptopelia decaocto), laughing dove (Streptopelia senegelensis), brown crake (Lanius cristatus), tailor bird (Orthotomus sutorius), brown shrike (Lanius cristatus), white-breasted kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis), little stint (Calidris minuta), plain martin (Riparia paludicola) and pied bushchat (Saxicola caprata). In addition mice, lizards, large insects are also taken. In one study in Bangladesh, adults fed mainly on small sparrow sized birds (72%) and Pipistrellus bats (28%).They may sometimes pirate prey obtained by other medium-sized raptors. Prey may sometimes be cached and eaten subsequently.
The red-necked falcon drinks water where available during the afternoons. This has been observed both in India and in Africa, where it sometimes visits waterholes.
The breeding season in India is January to March. In Zambia, the breeding season begins in August. Pairs may indulge in courtship feeding in which the female feeds the male, an unusual behaviour that has also been noted in captivity. This falcon often reuses the old tree nests of corvids, or lays its 3-5 eggs in a nest that it builds on the fork of a tall tree or in the crown of a palm tree. In Africa, they have been known to reuse the nests of pied crows (Corvus albus), African fish eagles (Halieaetus vocifer) on Acacia apart from building their own nest in Borassus palms. In India, the nest is often placed in a large mango tree (Mangifera indica) and concealed inside foliage. The nest territory is well-guarded and crows and kites driven away. This falcon has been documented to nests in trees amidst dense human population. The clutch consists of two to four eggs which are incubated only by the female which begins after the last egg of the clutch is laid. The eggs hatch after about 32 to 34 days and the newly hatched young are covered in white down and are brooded by the female for a week. The male brings food which is torn by the female and fed to the chicks. The young fledge in about 35 to 37 days in Africa and up to 48 days in India.

Lot of beach shoots in 2013, which...I mean, if you're gonna live in LA, you gotta utilize the city's unique aspects...like the ability to go to the beach every day, with ease.
It's always a bit of a drive, not hard, but you don't want to be stuck with someone boring, so maybe 2013 was the year I kept finding interesting subjects to hang out with on a drive to the beach.
This shoot, I had a whole crew, McKenzie modeling, Lindi doing make-up, Emily (the one holding the reflector that really makes this shot pop) assisting, so that day I found a whole bunch of interesting people to hang out with on a drive to the beach.
Beach is always trickier than I plan for, the horizon, the light bouncing off the ocean, back-lighting takes a lot of finagling...but I got to hang out with McKenzie, Lindi and Emily!
And we were pretty happy with the shots, no lie.
It's frustrating, can't pull off a bit shoot like that right now, even if I wanted. People I know are having covid parties, the city is recommending people avoid unnecessary gatherings...it's a weird time, everyone's working with a different set of rules. A big trip to the beach feels like madness. Hell, going out to take pictures involves me having everyone arrive separately, I'm wearing a mask the whole time...weird times.

Jackson Lake is in Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming. This natural lake was enlarged by the construction of the Jackson Lake Dam, which was originally built in 1911, enlarged in 1916 and rebuilt by 1989.[4] The top 33 ft (10 m) of the lake is utilized by farmers in Idaho for irrigation purposes. The lake is the remnant of large glacial gouging from the neighboring Teton Range to the west and the Yellowstone Plateau to the north.[5] The lake is primarily fed by the Snake River, which flows in from the north, and empties at Jackson Lake Dam. Jackson Lake is one of the largest high altitude lakes in the United States, at an elevation of 6,772 ft (2,064 m) above sea level. The lake is up to 15 mi (24 km) long, 7 mi (11 km) wide and 438 ft (134 m) deep. The water of the lake averages below 60 °F (16 °C), even during the summer. Numerous species of fish inhabit the lake including nonnative brown and lake trout and the native Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout and mountain whitefish. There are over 15 islands in the lake, including the largest, Elk Island, and Donoho Point. John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway is located near the northern end of Jackson Lake and extends to the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. This roadway combines with the roads in Grand Teton National Park that follow the eastern side of the lake, and provides access for boating and fishing. There are several marinas and lodges along the eastern shore such as Leeks marina, Colter Bay Village, Jackson Lake Lodge and Signal Mountain Lodge. All of these except Jackson Lake Lodge have boat access points and ramps. The western shore of Jackson Lake is primitive, with only hiking trails and a handful of primitive campground spots. Grand Teton National Park is a United States National Park in northwestern Wyoming. At approximately 310,000 acres (480 sq mi; 130,000 ha; 1,300 km2), the park includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long (64 km) Teton Range as well as most of the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole. It is only 10 miles (16 km) south of Yellowstone National Park, to which it is connected by the National Park Service-managed John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Along with surrounding National Forests, these three protected areas constitute the almost 18,000,000-acre (7,300,000 ha) Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, one of the largest intact mid-latitude temperate ecosystems in the world. Human history of the Grand Teton region dates back at least 11,000 years, when the first nomadic hunter-gatherer Paleo-Indians began migrating into the region during warmer months pursuing food and supplies. In the early 19th century, the first White explorers encountered the eastern Shoshone natives. Between 1810 and 1840, the region attracted fur trading companies that vied for control of the lucrative beaver pelt trade. U.S. Government expeditions to the region commenced in the mid-19th century as an offshoot of exploration in Yellowstone, with the first permanent white settlers in Jackson Hole arriving in the 1880s. Efforts to preserve the region as a national park commenced in the late 19th century, and in 1929 Grand Teton National Park was established, protecting the major peaks of the Teton Range. The valley of Jackson Hole remained in private ownership until the 1930s, when conservationists led by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. began purchasing land in Jackson Hole to be added to the existing national park. Against public opinion and with repeated Congressional efforts to repeal the measures, much of Jackson Hole was set aside for protection as Jackson Hole National Monument in 1943. The monument was abolished in 1950 and most of the monument land was added to Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton National Park is named for Grand Teton, the tallest mountain in the Teton Range. The naming of the mountains is attributed to early 19th-century French-speaking trappers—les trois tétons (the three teats) was later anglicized and shortened to Tetons. At 13,775 feet (4,199 m), Grand Teton abruptly rises more than 7,000 feet (2,100 m) above Jackson Hole, almost 850 feet (260 m) higher than Mount Owen, the second-highest summit in the range. The park has numerous lakes, including 15-mile-long (24 km) Jackson Lake as well as streams of varying length and the upper main stem of the Snake River. Though in a state of recession, a dozen small glaciers persist at the higher elevations near the highest peaks in the range. Some of the rocks in the park are the oldest found in any U.S. National Park and have been dated at nearly 2.7 billion years. Grand Teton National Park is an almost pristine ecosystem and the same species of flora and fauna that have existed since prehistoric times can still be found there. More than 1,000 species of vascular plants, dozens of species of mammals, 300 species of birds, more than a dozen fish species and a few species of reptiles and amphibians exist. Due to various changes in the ecosystem, some of them human-induced, efforts have been made to provide enhanced protection to some species of native fish and the increasingly threatened whitebark pine. Grand Teton National Park is a popular destination for mountaineering, hiking, fishing and other forms of recreation. There are more than 1,000 drive-in campsites and over 200 miles (320 km) of hiking trails that provide access to backcountry camping areas. Noted for world-renowned trout fishing, the park is one of the few places to catch Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout. Grand Teton has several National Park Service-run visitor centers, and privately operated concessions for motels, lodges, gas stations and marinas.

Buffalo and Pittsburgh empties utilize CSX trackage rights on the morning of May 8th, 2016 with 3 SD40-3's and 120 cars. The train is passing through the quiet little town of Gallatin-Sunnyside at the old PLE MP34 marker before taking the siding at Webster to wait for a westbound N782 out of Newell.
After N782 passes and gives up their track, the U065-07 continues east (geographically south) to Newell before an NS crew will board the train to take it down to Consol Energy's Bailey Mine. After loading the train it will return to Newell and a CSX crew will board to take it to New Castle, PA.
Once at New Castle, a Buffalo and Pittsburgh crew will run around the train and take it back east once again, in order to reach their connector at West Pittsburg (spelled without the H). From West Pittsburgh the train begins its long continuous climb out of the Ohio River Valley onto Butler where it will stop to grab a helper for the climb up to and then away from the Allegheny River Valley at Mossgrove.
After cresting the grade at Dayton, it's downhill into Punxsutawney for a recrew and on the train's final destination of the Homer City Powerplant in Indiana, PA.

The W.E. Custer Mill was built in 1913 in Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. W.E. Custer operated the mill until he died in 1943. Custer ground flour and also made scratch feed for chickens. The mill had a grain storage capacity of 10,000 bushels. It utilized a roller bearing system powered by a 35 horsepower electric motor which drove the feed department and receiving separator, and an additional 20 horsepower motor to drive the flour department. The mill was lit with electricity but heated by a hot air furnace. The mill footprint is 30x60 feet, with a one-story attached warehouse. Subsequent mill owners continued to operate it until 1962, after which it stood idle for decades. In recent years a new owner seems to have occupied the mill, making many improvements, such as new windows.

The Serpent is a stealth tilt-rotor Gunship utilized by the European Union. Its design is focused on reducing the radar cross section and the VTOL´s heat signature. Therefore the Serpent has a dark and angular design, unlike all other EU aircraft. Depending on its armament configuration a Serpent can however also be used as multi-purpose Gunship rather than as stealth VTOL.
