Woo-hoo! My paper copy of "A Web for Everyone" by Sarah Horton and Whitney Quesenbery and published by Rosenfeld Media arrived today and became the obvious candidate for my photo-of-the-day. Now I can read it as a "normal" book. I was a reviewer for the book so the reading experience is slightly different. Now I need to get cracking on writing a public review of it!

As a seasoned digital marketing expert with a Master's in Communication and e-Marketing and over 20 years of experience, I offer a comprehensive and results-driven skill set to help brands achieve their full potential online.
With expertise in e-Marketing Strategy, social media advertising, community management, and content creation (video, photo, infographics), I craft compelling organic content that resonates with audiences across various platforms. I leverage powerful tools such as Adobe Suite, Filmora, Canva, Buzzsprout, and Synthesia, as well as AI-driven solutions like ChatGPT to create high-impact campaigns.
I specialize in brand positioning, sales conversion, email marketing, SEO, and web design using platforms like WordPress and Drupal, complemented by strong skills in coding (HTML, JAVA). Whether it’s optimizing ad campaigns via Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Ads, or LinkedIn Ads, I ensure that each campaign is strategically aligned with your business goals to boost sales and visibility.
My approach is data-driven, using platforms such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Hubspot to monitor performance, track KPIs, and refine strategies for optimal results. I also bring substantial experience in e-commerce (e.g., Shopify) and managing email campaigns with Mailchimp.
Beyond digital marketing, I am adept at creating media kits, press releases, and webinars to elevate your brand's presence in the market. Whether you're looking for short-term freelance projects or long-term employment, my ability to work remotely or onsite, combined with my strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, makes me a reliable partner for your digital marketing and sales efforts.

I thought this was really clever - in this email LinkedIn, a social networking website gives a compelling reason to provide personal details and provides an obvious mechanism for doing it.
Unfortunately this is let down by what happens after you click the link:
1) You are asked to login even though the system must have known your identity in order to send you the email
2) You are then provided with the option to add a school despite having already chosen this option
3) When you finally get to the school page it turns out that they mean university and since I didn't enter higher education this is useless to me
