1.Remove the unit
The most convenient and easiest way to clean the immersion blender is to remove the attachment or unplug the unit. Then clean it with the solution of dish soap and water. Now detach the attachment and soak it in the hot water for a few minutes. Now, wipe it with the dishrag.
2.Blend It Clean
In case, the food gets stuck to the hand blender, fill a bowl full of water and add 2-3 drops of soap detergent into it. Now, submerge the blender and switch it on until the food gets removed from the unit. Afterward, remove the attachment by pressing the release button.
3.Time To Dry
Once you are done with the cleaning of the attachment, set it to dry with the towel. Make it dry thoroughly before keeping it back to the storage.
4.Wand Washing
Make the soapy solution to run down the wand of your hand blender. The wand should not ever be immersed in water. So, just wipe the wand and remove all the food particles.
5.Careful Storage
Locate a place to store the hand blender that is not in contact with the dust and is convenient to store. However, before the storage, ensure all the elements of the hand blender are properly dried up.
Conversation led to a late washing of my dishes, which in turn resulted in me being in the kitchen while Greg was preparing our lunch. The basil was so aromatic and flavourful that Allana (@banana29) could smell it out the window as she walked by.
Looks good enough to eat NOW!!

The windows from the kitchen at the Northern Edge Algonquin look out over the Labyrinth. Such a peaceful vista must somehow get incorporated into the marvelous food. That's my take on it, anyway.
