We were warned that the seagulls were nesting on these rocks. The closer we approached, the louder they squawked. So we gave ground and left them to their business. But we did notice that they were among the largest and healthiest seagulls we had every seen. They looked like fattened chickens next to the seagulls of downtown Toronto.
Clarence and Daryl have clued in to the camera. Allana has clued in to the music. Stephen and Bryan are just jammin.'

The ancient castle of Carpiano near Gubbio in Italy dates back to 10th Century. Having subsequently been abandoned for many decades, Riccardo & Marilisa Parisi discovered the old hamlet in 2001 and immediately fell in love with that "pile of rocks". Beyond the careful and stunningly beautiful restoration of its buildings, they have also created the "Borgo di Carpiano" - by far our favourite place to take a holiday and "un-plug".

None other than Quick Left's Operations Manager/in-house artist/rainbow maker, Ali Schultz, is hosting the #BSW13 & BMoCa Unplug event Friday night. Audience members enjoyed performances from musician Harper Phillips, performance artist Tara Rynders and peruse BMoCA's current exhibition, Museum of Broken Relationships. Stories from esteemed leaders in the Boulder Startup community were interpreted by Boulder's own Playback Theater West. Believe us, you have never heard, or seen, these stories like this before.
