The ancient castle of Carpiano near Gubbio in Italy dates back to 10th Century. Having subsequently been abandoned for many decades, Riccardo & Marilisa Parisi discovered the old hamlet in 2001 and immediately fell in love with that "pile of rocks". Beyond the careful and stunningly beautiful restoration of its buildings, they have also created the "Borgo di Carpiano" - by far our favourite place to take a holiday and "un-plug".

Whenever I unplug my guitar the tuner seems to settle on just a smidgen below G#. I make that around 410Hz, give or take a bit.
