In order to remove the Parts-Forming of the original Lego Voltron, I placed the shoulder assemblies on an axle attached to an elevator. This allows the shoulder assemblies to unplug from the body without detaching, raise slightly, rotate 180, and then plug in again.
The legs are connected to the waist via small Technic turntables, connected to a friction system similar to that of the shoulders. This allows the legs to move for both poses and for the transformation.
I got the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 brand new, an impressive huge and heavy lens, but unfortunately there seems to be some issues with the lens:
1. at aperture f2.8-5 the lens is very soft and produces a very low contrast image
2. this lens seems to be very soft above 50mm
3. I get a strange error, when I do not turn on the camera for a few days with the lens mounted. The error: it can not focus! I have to unplug the lens while the camera is on, mount the lens on once again, then the autofocus works again.
As before, unplug this harness and fish it out of its channel. This connector is a bit stubborn. If you're not careful, you'll pull off the circuit board connector housing along with the one on the cable. Fortunately, it's easy to reinstall.

I couldn't resist buying this miniature orchid. Each flower is just 1.5" across. I didn't want to set up my light box so shot it on the windowsill and used fill flash.
I updated to Photoshop Elements 6 and got Topaz, and this is my first effort of using it for some minor post processing.
It's still raining. A record 6.7" fell in my garden yesterday, for a total of 13.5" since the 15th. It will continue to rain all day today, and there's a 60% chance of it continuing tomorrow. When the rain is accompanied by thunder, as it has often been, I shut down the computer and unplug, so it looks like this may be another post-and-run day. Have a good one.

Here is no_thneeds_needed's Flickrstream. I think you'll agree that he's a superb nature photographer. I wish I had time to spend more time on it, myself.
So the hot spring is very small. They've set up a trough that runs down past the bath houses. To fill your tub with HOT water, you unplug the stick at the top of the picture. Then you add buckets of cold water from the river til you have a nice soaking temperature. When done, you drain the tub by unplugging the stick stopper at the bottom of the log tub.

Carefully remove the bottom plate, being mindful of the cable to the fan. Unplug this cable to reduce the strain on the plug.
Sorry for all these item shots! That's what I end up resorting to when I don't have time to focus on my 365 project. In the midst of working 7 days straight.... wish I could just unplug for a while.

The room with sofas with milked out windows remarkably blend, 3 strangers, She's brain dead, no hope left, we need to agree on a timescale to unplug her... no rush (but rush non the less, rush!), would you like to donate her organs? sister say no, one lap around block (sister in taught) in the fading light of the British grey gloomy winter, The blotted, almost unrecognisable figure that was once Jane in the bed, head half shaven,first surgery stitches now displaced by second surgery staples, with tubes sticking out of every orifices, including some that nature never intended was now “switched off”, the agony lasted some 11 hours, Gassing at the monitor, listening to the bits of the , I fall asleep out of exhaustion, 3 days without sleep, a hand on my shoulder “its almost over” and so it was, lines on the monitor flattening now chest rising sower and slower, then to zero, my love is dead... Tracey the young nurse, out a pamphlet, bereavement and burial....
Truly alone now, a quarter of century with Jane.... a week of platitudes, a life of pains.

It's been storming fiercely here. The rain has been coming down in sheets and the wind is howling through the trees. We're just waiting for more branches to come crashing down into our yard.
The power has been out most of the evening and the lights are still flickering, so I'm just going to quickly upload this and unplug the computer.

Getting Real on my cable situation. After reading about the Vampire Slayer Act that California passed I decided that I wanted to unplug anything I wasn't using instead of leaving it for when I needed it.
I found that I didn't even need most of the things there: my Zaurus pda, the unused modem card, the rear speakers for my sound system, the usb cables. I just packed up all that stuff in individual plastic baggies and put it away.
I was left with only four things to plug in the surge protector and a lot of foot room.
I'm still not sure what to do with my incoming cd box.
The two separate circuits (just clicked together) with jumpers to unused rows so I don't have to unplug and replug output leads repeatedly in congested areas.

Oil Pastel at class. We started out using blow driers which is by far my favorite technique, but after we blew 2 fuses, the Art Center requested that we unplug and switch to turpenoid! Do they make a battery powered blow drier?

Our short vacation trip to BC/AB Rockies was not photography-centric - we went to unplug, unwind, and forget about life at home/work for a few days. The photos I took were captured quickly, and in-between focal activities. They capture the atmosphere of the trip in a peripheral sort of way.
The trip also coincided with historical and devastating flooding in British Columbia. We were lucky to escape back to Alberta via the only available detour before the heavy rains and washed-out highways were compounded by a winter storm.

One of the ways we processed the individual pieces we brought into a larger group collective was to represent our topics on wood chips, and then we worked to build a map. At this point in the process, most of the pieces are in place, but we have yet to really start into the connections. Not only was this a great thinking task, but it also let folks go all artistic, too! Each participant is also represented in the map by a hand-painted stone.
Well the storm is starting to hit...I'm gonna unplug our electrical equipment so I thought I'd post my shot in case I lose internet! There's nine counties affected by this...man the cloudage was amazing!!!! I've been working hard at home and had to go get groceries so no pic taking today! Maybe I can get some good ones this evening! Suppose to have high, strong winds and hail...oh God..please don't let my Walla Walla onions get destroyed, or my apple tree blossoms!!!! :(
This pic is dear to my heart. Wally dog who we had to have put down acouple months ago used to go in his carrier when I went to work to show his disapproval! He must have passed the torch because the other morning when I was leaving for work I couldnt find my dogs...lastly I looked in the carrier and here was Bandit and Penny! LOL...Penny was about asleep and Bandit was definitely bummed! Poor babies...♥ Light box is great....Now Bandit is under the bed...I'll join him I'm sure before long! LOL
