Medical personnel aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) wait to unload a patient from an HH-60H Seahawk from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Warfare Squadron Four (HS) 4 following an emergency medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) at sea. The crew of Ronald Reagan and HS-4 helped MEDEVAC Laura Montero 14, from Albion, Ill., who had suffered from a ruptured appendix while vacationing aboard the Dawn Princess cruise ship off the coast of Baja, Mexico. Upon arrival to the ship, the ship's surgeon conducted an emergency appendectomy and the patient is resting comfortably aboard Ronald Reagan.

A stone distribution site for an aggregate business has been in operation for a few years at the end of the 27-mile Carrollton Branch, practically revitalizing this line. This train arrived here last night, and a 1000 crew from Brewster has arrived to finish unloading the train. It's a lengthy, monotonous process, which takes hours to complete, as one by one each car is brought through the dumper. The bays on the hoppers are opened to unload into the pit while the "shaker" attempts to free any remaining bits of stone trapped in the cars. Once this repetitive process is complete, they'll run around their train and try to make it back towards Brewster. 8/27/24.
