Unique Victory
This photograph is uniquely profound to me because it signifies my own personal awakening to the levels of poverty experienced throughout the world. Already enrolled as an International Development student at UofG, I had always known that I wanted to fight issues of poverty and injustice, however this is one of the first moments in my life where I felt personally responsible for leaving the world a better place than it was when I came into it. This photograph was taken while I lived in the Philippines for a month in 2011. We were staying in a community that was quite literally located on a city dump. I believe that this photograph is both emotionally powerful as well as aesthetically dynamic.

Our unique jewelry is hand-crafted using recycled
guitar strings played and donated by local Jersey Shore Musicians. A portion of the proceeds from this item will be donated back to Musicians On A Mission, a Non-Profit organization which supports local music and local charities.

The Belgic defensive system linear embankments surrounding Turoe/Knocknadala oppidum ran up to, and interlinked with, the earlier embankments of the exceptionally rare form of Rahally trivallate Hillfort, its unique significance not recognized in the Environmental Impact Assessment process. Excavation and sections across embankments were done by NRA archaeologists prior to the blatantly deliberate laying of M6 motorway through the Hillfort.

While looking for Dean Village, we ran into the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art, which is split between two buildings. This grassy monument sits in front of Building One.
Some unique clouds over Stockton, CA. Even some cloud iridescence was seen around the sun.
Why were we here in Stockton? Me and my parents were visiting Lola once again this afternoon to see how she's doing. She was still staying at the Lincoln Square Post Acute Care in Stockton, CA.

Skateboarding at FDR Skatepark, located under Interstate 95 in FDR Park of Philadelphia. This is part of Canon creators challenge series for us non-professional photographers. Also, this was my first time capturing skateboarding action.
