Some shots from Tango Dancing in San Francisco's Union Square

My friend Michelle has a collection of photos of sad bikes. This was actually part of a test shot, but I looked at it tonight and realized it was perfect for her!

THis is how it looked in the 60's. Count the things in the picture that no longer exist.

Down in Union Square was a band playing, and I must say one of the worst singing I have ever heard. I thought it was some bad cover band by some middle-aged adults, but to my amazment it was one of those "School of Rock" groups. You know, 10 year-olds only playing covers of classic rock songs? they have 6 guitarists, 1 singer maybe 1 bassist and 1 drummer.

They looked all under 12.

I am truly addicted

The crowds were fast and thick. And why not? Many of the gifts for sale were suprisingly affordable. And besides, it makes for much better windowshopping then at Sak's.

Back on the Oly C-8080, but I forgot to change the image settings so it's this blocky 4/3 format..

A few steps out of the subway exit, I snapped this picture. I believe that's the W Union Square hotel behind the tree.

Another Union Square XMAS shot.
