The Buffer tool, a geoprocessing tool in the Analysis toolbox in ArcToolbox, generates buffer polygons, or offsets, around input features at a specified distance. Buffers show the area that is within some distance of the input features. The tool is popular because the concept of buffering is easy to understand and buffering plays an important role in many geoprocessing workflows involving proximity or distance analysis (i.e., How far away are these things? or What features are within a distance of other features?). Because the Buffer tool is important in performing proximity tasks, a key goal for developers working on this tool has been to ensure that buffers accurately depict distances around features. Schools and educators need to develop a fuller understanding of the diversity of the AAPI community if they want their students to thrive.
That was one of the main points our Co-Executive Director Vanessa Leung made last week at the Institute for Educational Leadership's 2023 National Community Schools and Family Engagement Conference where she was a featured speaker at the Carnegie Corporation of New York-sponsored panel entitled "Embodying Allyship: Proactively Partnering With Immigrant Families for Student Success.” Vanessa also stressed the importance of collaborating and building strong relationships with community-based organizations working on the ground in AAPI communities, who have a critical and more holistic sense of the needs of their communities., where she was a featured speaker on a panel entitled "Embodying Allyship: Proactively Partnering With Immigrant Families for Student Success.” Vanessa also stressed the importance of collaborating and building strong relationships with community-based organizations working on the ground in AAPI communities, who have a critical and more holistic sense of the needs of their communities.
We’re sending our gratitude to the Carnegie Foundation for inviting us to participate in this year’s Summit. We also learned so much from our fellow panelists at Chapman University, Building Skills Partnership, Brockton Public Schools, and ImmSchools and look forward to continuing these conversations.

Better data is becoming available on economic activity within countries, often much exceeding the available information of economic activity across countries. This creates new research opportunities for testing economic theory, analyzing market structures and the sources of market segmentation, and making predictions of how economic shocks propagate across space. The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers from urban economics, industrial organization, health economics, and international trade to study production and trade within and across countries.

Friends, .
We are going into the JNUSU polls in less than48 hours now. This year's polls are going to take place in the backdrop of theutterly highhanded and indifferent attitude adopted by the SFI-AISF led JNUSU which has entered into an unholy understanding.
with the administration to jeopardise the interests of the student community. They have betrayed the faith reposed in them by the.
way. The SFI-AISF cadres had field days as they pushed off to different tourist destinations and the railway concession formswithout any compunction or concern for the huge losses caused to the railways. Such gross indifference, malpractices andnonchalance exposed their true colours. Last year the students of JNU gave an overwhelming mandate to the SFI-AISF combinebut they have come a cropper on all the issues concerning the student community of JNU. .
The SFI-AISF combine have stooped to a new low by embezzling scholarship funds earmarked for economically weakersections and diverting and channeling those funds to promote the welfare of their loyal cadres. A case in point being SFI-AISF'slast years female councilor candidate in SIS who has been enjoy1ng the scholarship sponsored by Andhra Pradesh governmentby devising ingenuous ways of submitting fake certificates with the administration. This brazen act of siphoning off of governmentfunds once again reveals the true colours of the SFI-AISF who only breast beat about egalitarianism and their struggle against.
exploitation of deprived sections of the society. But the fall short of translating their words into deeds (the fact that the above.
mentioned councilor candidate eventually lost the elections is a different story altogether). This is not a mere aberration or anisolated case. Instances galore of many more SFI-AISF cadres who continue to cheat the government and the nationsimultaneously. Such deeds are a cruel rebuff to the deserv1ng candidate who genUinely hail from the economically weakersections but can't avail the benefits of the scholarships, which results in the shattering of many dreams which could not take.
w1ngs. .
We would like to congratulate the SFI-AISF for taking the student community for a ride once again. We would also liketo congratulate them for having hit a. century as far as cases of sexual harassment filed with the GSCASH against their.
cadres are concerned ever since the inception of the sacred institution. We would also like to extend the kudos for.
getting their lumpenic and sexually perverted cadres go scot free by hobnobbing with the administration. Thecommunists on the campus claim to be most democratic , most progressive and the sole "upholders of women'sdignity". But the SFI unfortunately never succeeds to camouflage its hypocrisy. One need not go too far in search ofinstances which reveal the communist's egregious show of "machoism" against women and intolerance towards theirideological opponents. .
As far as their claim to be the guardians of women's dignity is concerned it is appalling and disgusting to see Mamta Banerjeebeing dragged out on the streets of Kolkata by the CPI(M) and SF! goons and thrashed and caned mercilessly. This indeed .
vindicates their "upholding" and respecting women's dignity!!! Another glairing example of their "liberal ethos" is the way in whichSFI goondas coerced girl students of Vishwa Bharti University in West Bengal in to accepting a dress code. Those not toeingtheir line were dragged out of their class and thrashed, molested and kicked around. .
The communists claim to be the sole proponents of secularism but unfortunately their actions are not in line or in consonancewith their claims. A few years back the SFI goons 'branded' a Muslim student in Kerala by carving SFI on his back with aknife. This is their way of propagating their brand of secularism. .
The ABVP warns the SFI-AISF to desist from playing with the sentiments of students of JNU. The students of JNU areawakening to the call of cultural nationalism-a vision adhered to by us. We appeal to the students of JNU to rise to the occasion.
and give a decisive mandate in favour of ABVP so that the antinational SFI-AISF who are agents of terror and drug culture areobliterated from the sacred soil of Bharat Mata. .
This is to bring to the notice of students of SLL&CS that one of the councilor candidates of SFI-AISF. namely Ratnesh who is astudent of MA 1st year Chtnese has not appeared for any sessional exam this semester. As a result he will not be allowed to sitfor the end semester exams. Consequently he will not be promoted to the next semester and as such he will stop being a.
student of JNU unless and until he devises ingenuous ways of managing fake health certificates to claim zero semester onhealth grounds. This is a routine for the SFI -AISF cadres who continue to blatantly cheat the student community and the.
administration simultaneously. One of the incumbent SFI -AISF female councilor candidate was caught red handed getting.
railway concession forms made for Goa instead of for her home town. This highlights their moral bankruptcy. But then is it notasking too much from them????? .
