ONUS PROBANDI

“Today’s quote from quotes@philosophersmag.com

Today's date: 12 May 2004

If my interlocutor desires to convince me that Jupiter has inhabitants, and that his description of them is accurate, it is for him to bring forward evidence in support of his contention. The burden of proof evidently lies on him; it is not for me to prove that no such beings exist before my non-belief is justified, but for him to prove that they do exist before my belief can be fairly claimed. Similarly, it is for the affirmer of God's existence to bring evidence in support of his affirmation; the burden of proof lies on him.”

Annie Wood Besant

--Why I do not believe in God

The Poet lived out His poetry in me and so I no longer need to write my interlocutor about taxonomic data with an accompanying affidavit to desist from further implicating my good self, because ignorance is not a crime; however there are acquired facts in my head that went the way of a tumor, suffice it to say that they are right about formal dogmatic atheism as being self-refuting. I can never draw poetry from it.

I quote this time Herbert Spencer whose agnosticism had me memorizing his lumbering phraseology “…which while admitting the rational necessity of postulating the Absolute or Unconditioned behind the relative and Unconditioned objects of our knowledge declares the Absolute to be altogether Unknowable to be in fact the Unknowable about which without being guilty of contradiction we can predicate nothing at all except perhaps that It exists.”

Here lies the Poet’s Onus Probandi and never mind if His poems speak for themselves in life.

Resolving Demon's Interruption

March 27th, 2012

Demon's descendants try every way to overthrow us and never stop disturbing.

If you don’t have enough samadhi power, you will be defeated and overthrown.

Those people are vulnerable to disturbance, who don’t have enough firm resolve and concentration capability and wisdom, and stricken by afflictions and attachment.

This kind of disturbance is from both the visible and the invisible. It is very hard to guard against because they are very pervasive and pick on vulnerable area to invade. You have no wisdom eyes, so you aren’t able to discern them.

Study Buddha, study Shakyamuni Buddha, study Buddhas. It is very clear!

To perform according to the Way (cosmic laws), along the unconditioned Way without thoughts of a false self. To bring bliss to fellow human and rescue millions of beings.---do what Buddha did.

Master said repeatedly: The Buddhist must read Buddha Shakyamuni biography deeply and repeatedly.

In fact, all of Demon's interruptions are illusory.

In fact, all of Demon's interruptions are false.

In fact, all of Demon's interruptions are dreamland. In fact, all of Demon's interruptions are bubbles. All of Demon's interruptions are what your heart calls in. All of Demon's interruption are what your karma calls in. All of Demon's interruptions are what your obstacles calls in. All of Demon's interruptions are what your bad habits calls in. All of Demon's interruptions are what your affliciton calls in. Keep your heart unmoving, who can have a way?

The way to control sentient beings for Demon's descendants is to try every way to keep your heart moving and make you following them and being used. The final purpose is to suck your life energy. Demon's descendants are attempting to control the whole universe.

To control the whole universe depends on energy, just the same as people on the earth control the earth depending on energy. People on the earth found that the most important problem is energy which many wars essentially fought for. Evil forces will spare no effect to derive life energy, trying all sorts of tricks.

Evil forces try their best to keep human beings’ hearts moving. When your heart moving, you will release energy, which evil forces can extract. This is the truth which can't be submerged again.

Make more people awaking、intuiting and being enlightened. Don’t decline into slaves or cows of evil forces while they are unaware of that fact. This kind of phenomenon has remained for countless kalpas. That Buddhas weren’t able to rescue all sentient beings during countless kalpas is because Buddhas couldn’t use external force to keep sentient beings’ hearts unmoving.

Buddha, one Buddha after another incarnated and came here, demonstrating the Way with their own conduct and instructing sentient beings, never stopping. How are the results? You've already seen that. Of course, Buddha's efforts were not in vain. One group after another of Bodhisattvas、Pratyekabuddhas、Arhats and people from heaven have promoted and returned back. Yes, meanwhile one group after another of sinful souls and those who did heavy evil karma sunk due to their Karma. There is originally no fight between Buddha and Demon. There is originally no fight between righteousness and evil. Buddha wants to take you with him while Demon isn’t pleased, just as you go to rescue a slave whom slave owners mustn’t hand over.

Because Buddha wants to rescue and guide sentient beings while Demon wants to control、enslave and make use of sentient beings, contradiction is born. Ahah.

The thing is so easy and nothing than that. Next, Baddha’s compassionate salvation will continue……

Next, the evil interruption of Demon's descendants will continue…… This situation has continued for immeasurable kalpas and will still be continuing.〇sifu曰:不受磨不成佛。〇sifusifu said: Without hardships none becomes Buddhas.〇sifu曰:历尽磨难方成佛。〇sifusifu said: After finishing experiencing the tribulation, one can become a Buddha.〇sifu曰:一切皆是考验。〇sifusifu said: Everything is test.〇sifu曰:密钥在心,正诚善净。〇sifu said: The secret key of return hides in the mind, which must be virtuous, faithful, benevolent and pure.

Master has ever said that it is not necessary to cultivate together for promotion and practice at home individually is the same. When you resonate with Buddha, you can be blessed by Buddha at any moment.

At the ashram, too many people get together and are easily misunderstood by neighbors. It isn’t safe instead.

Each has his own thing. Each has his own vow. Each has his own predestined relationship. Each has his own mission. Don’t need everyone to get together and know everything.

The true practicer sees no fault in the world.

Don’t always stare at others. Observe your own body、speech and mind at any moment.

Every form of evil cannot be done. Every form of kindness should be done. At the same time, try to purify your mind by yourselves.

Whether the ashram is pure depends on whether your heart is pure or not when you go into the ashram.

Mantras are neither magic spells whose inherent power can defy the laws of nature, nor are they formulas for psychiatric therapy or self-hypnosis. They do not possess any power of their own, but are means for arousing and concentrating already existing forces of the human psyche. They are archetypal sound and word symbols that have their origin in the very structure of our consciousness. They are, therefore, not arbitrary creations of individual initiative, but arise from collective or general human experience, modified only by cultural or religious traditions.

The mantra connects our peripheral consciousness with our depth consciousness, which represents totality of our past. Our past, however, reaches back to a time before the creation of structured language and fixed word forms or concepts. Thus the earliest mantric expressions or seed-syllables (bija) are prelingual, primordial sounds which express feelings but not concepts, emotions rather than ideas.

Just as music conveys meaning, though this cannot be expressed in words, basic mantric sounds convey vibrations which affect our attitudes, our moods, our states of consciousness. They also affect different psychic centers in our bodies which are not connected with thought-activity but with space-feeling, inner movement, emotion or other psychic qualities, because consciousness is located not only in the brain but in various other centers (cakras) of psychic energy. When we are moved by a song or certain passage in music, we cannot even say why this is so. There are no logical reasons. We simply feel that something begins to swing or to vibrate within us like a chord of the same wavelength.

The basic vowel sound of a mantric seed-syllable (bija) produces an effect that is difficult to imagine, if we consider that sound merely as represented by a printed syllable in a book or pronounced in a spoken word. Though it is true that ultimately every sound has potential mantric qualities, there is a clear distinction between a mere linguistic vowel sound and that of a mantric seed-syllable. The mantric nature of the latter is indicated by a small circle or dot (anusvara) on top of the written character, signifying that the outflowing sound is closed off and turned inward, where it merges from the audible into the inaudible inner vibration. The latter is real shabda, or inner sound which sets in motion the respective psychic forces or cakras and frees them from the restrictive entanglements, by loosening the "knots" (granthi) into which they have bound themselves, due to our negligence or misuse of them.

As in music we can discern a different vibrational character in all mantric vowels: the O is rounded, all-inclusive sound, and it is certainly not by chance that in Greek and Roman scripts it has been symbolized by a circle. By superimposing the anusvara upon this sound, it is converted into the mantric seed-syllable OM. As such it has always been regarded -- from the earliest times of Indian history until the present day -- as the universal sound. In the words of Rabindranath Tagore, "Om is the symbolic word for the infinite, the perfect, the eternal. The sound as such is already perfect and represents the wholeness of things. It is meant to fill the mind with the presentiment of eternal perfection and to free it from the world of narrow selfishness."

Buddhism shares with the teachings of the Upanishads the recognition of man's potential universality, but it is equally consious of the imporatnce of individuality, without which this universality could not be experienced and realized. The Buddhist way, as we may say, begins where that of the Upanishads ends. Although the mantric symbol OM is shared by both, its evaluation is not the same, since it depends on the position which the symbol occupies in the particular mantric tradition and in relationship to other symbols within this tradition. Om, therefore, in Buddhist tradition stands at the beginning of every mantric formula, but never at its end.

OM is like the opening of our arms to embrace all that lives. It is like a flower that opens its petals to the light of the sun. The crown-chakra (sahasrara-cakra), in which the OM traditionally is placed, is indeed depicted as a thousand-petalled lotus. However, the energies thus received do not remain in the petals of the flower; they have to descend into the darkness of the roots in order to be transformed into a life-giving and life-sustaining force. In the same way, the universality experienced in the OM, the primordial sound of timeless reality, must descend and be realized in the depth of the human heart in order to be transformed into vibrant life.

OM is the ascent towards universality, HUM the descent of the state of universality into the depth of the human heart. OM and HUM are like counterpoints in a musical score. OM is the infinite; but HUM is the infinite in the finite, the eternal in the temporal, the timeless in the moment, the unconditioned in the conditioned, the formless as basis of all form: it is the Mirrorlike Wisdom, which reflects the void as well as the objects and reveals the emptiness in the things as much as the things in the emptiness.

The OM stands like the sun in the center of the mandala, the place of Vairocana, the "sun buddha," the radiating one; the HUM stands in the east, the place of Aksobhya. Though the east is the entrance-point into the mandala, the HUM cannot precede the OM in any mantric formula, because the presence of the center is the conditio sine qua non of the mandala, which in Tibetan is rightly translated as "center (and) circumference" (dKhyil-hKhor). In other words, we must have passed through the experience of OM in order to reach and to understand the still deeper experience of HUM.

The basic vowel sound of the long U in HUM is the sound of depth, vibrating forth in the anusvara, which merges into the inaudible. The vowel "u" (=oo) expresses a downward movement and represents the lower limit in the tonal scale of the human voice, the treshold of silence, which in Tibetan is called "the door of the inaudible". The aspirate "h" which precedes it, is the sound of breath (prana), the subtle life-force. The sonorous inwardly directed, inwardly vibrating final sound of the nasalized "m", representing the anusvara, stands as it were between consonants and vowels, being in fact the combination of both, thus hinting beyond duality. This is why the anusvara is the characteristic mark of practically all seed-syllables (bija-mantras), which distinguishes them from ordinary vowel sounds.

True Love

Today is Valentine’s Day.

Master blesses lovers become enlightened sattvas(Bodhisattvas, or enlightened living beings).

A word-love, damages so many miserable unfortunate persons.

Love is a very sensitive topic.

It is difficult to discourse about Love.

All living beings cannot accept it if it is told pellucidly.

If not so, all living beings will cling to love and be trapped.

Countless living beings were trapped into Love and cannot extricate themselves!

Countless living beings were stuck on Love and cannot extricate themselves!

Countless living beings were tied up to Love and cannot extricate themselves!

There is an ancient saying:‘The hero becomes a prisoner of beauty because of love’

Since time immemorial, countless men and women are addicted to love and greed so that they go against laws and morality.

Fame、gain、wealth and love etc need to be broken through during the practice, however, countless practioners cannot get through the barrier of the love.

Master witnessed many people who could not get through the barrier of the love so that they could not extricate themselves .

Master witnessed many people who were addicted to love and lust about the barrier of the love so that they retreated from their resolve.

Master witnessed many people who were sentenced to come to the earth from the Heaven about the barrier of the love so that they went against the Law and the principles of universe because of love.

“自古多情空遗恨,此恨绵绵无绝期”这句话虽很哀怨,但也直白

‘Hate affectionately and vacantly from ancient times, but this vow unfulfilled will be regretted forever.’ This sentence is very plaintive and sorrow while straightforward.

Because of love, countless people from the Heaven were punished and degraded down to earth.

Because of love, countless ordinary persons sacrificed their lives.

Because of love, countless living beings did not believe the Law and the principles of universe.

Because of love, countless Divinities’ tears and blood dry up.

Because of love, countless Divinities are well-meaning .

Divinities'love is great compassion!

Divinities'love is non-self and unconditioned.

Divinities'love is always dedicating.

Divinities'love is sincere light and love!

Divinities'love is the same heart and body!

Divinities'love is to awake those trapped.

Divinities'love is to guide the barmiest.

Divinities'love is to return the center of the cosmos.

Divinities'love is to go back to true bhutatathata ocean.

Divinities'love is the birthlessness of cosmic center.

Divinities'love is spiritual and constant.

So wonderful is the true love.

Infinite compassion never makes people deprave.

Utmost affecting, utmost love and utmost pure.

Non-self, no desires and no selfishness.

If you ask what name should be given to this kind of affection.

It does not rest upon body but in heart.

It does not mean the intimacy of bodies.

All living beings have the same Dharma body.

This kind of love is not desire.

One will sink into vices if his desires for love are not removed.

The vow unfulfilled will be regretted forever.

Higher dimensional beings have being rescued families.

Compassionate boat never stops in the misery ocean.

Invert driving compassionate ship, call loved ones.

If the sons of Buddha ask what is affection.

Infinite compassion is true love.

The name of the verse is true love. And that is the end of today’s speech.

Namo Amitabha!

Some disciples and guests ask: ‘If there is no love, there will be no person in the world?’ Master doesn’t want to answer such question. You should think over Ksitigarbha’s big vow---making the vow in front of Buddha:‘I will not become a Buddha until I make all living beings suffering in six ways be more convenient and make them come out.’

Some disciples and guests ask: ‘If we don’t eat meat, drink the wine and smoke, how does the restaurant run?’ The reply is: ‘the universe does require that restaurants serving meat dishes must be opened. We can run vegetarian restaurants. If no eating meat,no drinking and no smoking, people will have a better life.

1. What are you grateful for today?

Managed to learn how to do mail merge and sent out whatever I need to send. I realised that my neck still pains and it hit me hard that I should see another doctor to find that cure I need since the chiropractor didn't help at all. I was given a nice tui na massage and acupuncture and a patch with Chinese medicine. The Chinese practitioner was experienced and I believe in him. He was gentle and practical. I hope he could cure my neck pain.

2. What emotional message did you have today?

Calm. Lazy. Curious. Relaxed. Restful.

3. What have you done today that move you forward to achieving your dream or goals?

Keeping up on my health, curing my neck pain.

4. What have you learned today? How can you do it slightly better next time?

"The self you judge is not the real self, the self you love is the real you". "The real mirror is to see yourself without judgement" - the mirror isn't doing anything to you, you are the one full of the ideas of yourself. "Whenever you don't feel loveable, it's because you're judging yourself". Your Unconditioned Self is without judgement and it is love.

5. What have you done to leverage your ability today?

Love myself. Rest.

6. Have you veered off or stayed back at your centre? Have you contracted or expanded?

Remained.

7. What is that one issue that you notice today?

Love is born with us. Over time as we grow, we forget about it because we learn to be logical and form our idea and judgement. Love is not pure from thereon.

8. What's the one thing I want to focus more/ 1 thing I want to eliminate?

Love myself more and love my body and love my health by getting the rest I need and slowing down my steps and breath. Forget about what I think about myself. Forget whatever judgement I have on myself. Feel myself more.

This is mom, I think this is a prom picture. I like the picture of Jesus above her, and her brothers in uniform on the mantle. It must have been during the war (WW II).

She looks sad.

Sometimes I think of my mother as if she were a great Zen master, working her way through the struggles and burdens of life. Despite mental illness, she possessed a great clarity and large spirit that never was taken from her. She was always so much stronger than anyone suspected.

"If you remember nothing else, always remember this one great secret of spiritual practice: we don't have to feel any particular way. We don't have to have special experiences, nor do we have to be any particular way. With whatever arises, whether it's pleasing or not, try to remember that all we can do is experience and work with whatever our life is right now. No matter what life is and no matter how we feel about it, all that matters in practice is whether we can honestly acknowledge what is going on, and then stay present with the physical experience of that moment."

Our difficulties are not obstacles to the path; they are the path itself. They are opportunities to awaken. Can we learn what it means to welcome an unwanted situation, with its sense of groundlessness, as a wake-up call? Can we look at it as a signal that there is something here to be learned? Can we allow it to penetrate our hearts? By learning to do this, we are taking the first basic step toward learning what it means to be open with whatever life presents us.

Even when we don’t like it, we understand that this difficulty is our practice, our path, our life.

"Hillary Clinton demonstrerte denne klasseforakten da hun kalte Donald Trumps velgere for «a basket of deplorables».

"Coolness started with jazz musicians, and still has something of the spirit of the night, of escape from everyday reality, of unconditioned freedom, of improvisation without a goal. It’s the liberal equivalent of the divine grace that bloweth where it listeth and none can define.

It has something in common with sanctity. The cool are in the world but not of it. They possess a certain disengagement, so that they are independent of their surroundings and not easily flustered or excited. They’re not conventional, and recognize immediately whatever they’re presented with. That gives them a sort of perfect pitch in matters of perception, expression, and practical decision.

Of course, coolness is also very different from sanctity. Sanctity is about eternity, coolness about today. It has religious aspirations, but its hedonism and individualism means it goes nowhere. The lives of the saints have enduring interest because they point to something beyond themselves, the lives of the hipsters don’t." – James Kalb

- A Course Reversal? On R.R. Reno’s Return of the Strong Gods

Husmannstroen = de deplorables tro.

A Course Reversal? On R.R. Reno’s Return of the Strong Gods

God jul til alle deplorable!

Today is awesome! We've been to The Thousand Steps in the Dandenongs and now we're darting about the cockatoo park on the way home. To my stupid machismo, one thousand steps didn't seem much of a thing, so I've got a jacket and jeans on and a pair of average leisure shoes - how wrong I am. For starters, it's been raining this morning and so there's a constant stream of water running down the hillside making everything utterly slick and humid and beyond that, there's 1000 steps. 1000 steps that we choose to first descend and then come straight back up. Later I find that there's a path you're meant to take in one direction and then return on the steps, this method I presume is less likely to smash your unconditioned legs to jelly, but that's just a presumption of course.

Once I stop shaking and sweating, we get back in the car and go for sustenance in the form of caffeine and sugar. Chelsea is keen to feed the birds at this place on the way home so we dart over for a quick stop. Last time she went there was a bus load of people and the birds were dispersed amongst the people accordingly, this time there is only us in the feeding area when we begin and the ration dramatically changes much to Chelsea's distress and my mirth.

This little fiend came in at the end of our stint and was fascinated and slightly afraid of our fine feathered friends.

This skirt is 100% silk and is perfect for the hot summer heat in an unconditioned classroom full of sweaty, stinky 12 year olds, lol!

The Postcard

A postally unused postcard that was published by Colourpicture of Boston 15, USA. In the space for the stamp it states that a One Cent stamp is required.

On the divided back of the card the publishers have provided the following information:

'Entrance to Titan's Temple.

Howe Caverns, Near Cobleskill, N.Y.

Titan's Temple is the largest room in Howe

Caverns. At the right is a massive example

of flowstone. The colored grottoes in the

center are in the side wall.

They have been eroded through the

centuries by the underground stream in

the Caverns.

The dark space and line just above the

grottoes is a line of demarcation between

the Silurian and Devonian geological

periods, indicating the great age of these

rocks.

Modern passenger elevators, electric lights,

well-kept brick walks, pure air, large

passageways and high ceilings make the

easy and never-to-be forgotten.'

Howe Caverns

Howe Caverns are in Schoharie County, New York. They are a popular tourist attraction, providing visitors with a sense of caving or spelunking, without needing the advanced equipment and training usually associated with such adventures.

Howe Caverns are the second most visited natural attraction in New York State, after Niagara Falls.

Geology of Howe Caverns

The formation of the cave, which lies 156 feet (48 m) below ground, began several million years ago. The cave walls are composed mainly of two types of limestone (Coeymans and Manlius) from different periods in the Earth's early history, deposited hundreds of millions of years ago when the Atlantic Ocean stretched far inland.

The cave contains an underground lake, called the Lake of Venus, as well as many stalactites and stalagmites.

Discovery and Development of Howe Caverns

Howe Caverns are named after farmer Lester Howe, who discovered the cave on the 22nd. May 1842. Noticing that his cows frequently gathered near some bushes at the bottom of a hill on hot summer days, Howe decided to investigate.

Behind the bushes, Howe found a strong, cool breeze emanating from a hole in the Earth. Howe proceeded to dig out and explore the cave with his friend and neighbor, Henry Wetsel, on whose land the cave entrance was located. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 52 °F (11 °C), irrespective of the outside weather.

Howe opened the cave to eight-hour public tours in 1843, and, as business grew, a hotel was built over the entrance. When Howe encountered financial difficulties, he sold off parts of his property until a limestone quarry purchased the remainder. The quarry's purchase included the hillside, which encompassed the cave's natural entrance.

The cave was closed to the public, until an organization was formed in 1927 to re-open it. The organization spent the next two years undertaking development work to create an alternative entrance into the cave.

After completion of the work – including elevators, brick walkways, lighting, and handrails – the cave was re-opened to visitors on Memorial Day, May 1929.

The standard tour lasts about 80 minutes, and shows the majority of the cave. Visitors begin at the elevators and continue to the end of the Lake of Venus, which marks the end of the developed property. Beyond this point lie about 2,100 feet (640 m) of unconditioned and destroyed caverns, which led to the quarry and the natural entrance. After a boat ride, visitors turn around and walk back the way they came, with two additional stops.

More Recent Developments

In 2008, the cave was purchased by private owners. In 2011, an adventure park attraction was assembled, initially featuring only a rope course and zip line. Since then, an H2OGO ball has been added, along with a rock wall, an air jumper, and a gemstone mining building.

In May 2015, Howe Caverns officials re-opened the natural entrance of the cave to public tours. The newly-opened section of the cavern had not been seen since 1900. Guy Schiavone, Howe Cavern's specialty tour director has said:

"The caverns were closed to begin with

because the property had been previously

owned by several cement companies that

took over in the late 1800's."

On the 8th. July 2015, one of the H2OGO water attractions was stolen. Howe Caverns offered a reward to anyone providing information that might lead to an arrest of the thief or thieves.

The two-hour "Signature Rock Discovery Tour" simulates natural cave exploration with the assistance of a guide, in a section of the cave that had not previously been open to the public. There is no artificial lighting in this part of the cavern, so visitors are supplied with their own portable lamps, as well as a suit appropriate for the muddy and cold journey.

The expanded tour includes the remains of Howe's original tourist boat, and signatures along the rock left by cavern adventurers more than 100 years ago.

There is also a “Music Hall” where sound echoes exceptionally well. The tour usually ends at the "Lake of Mystery", as visitors would have to crawl through a muddy passage filled with water inches away from the ceiling, to proceed any further.

The store at Howe Caverns sells "cave aged" cheese that is stored in a locked room by the elevators.

Weddings are performed deep in the cave, on top of a calcite formation that resembles a heart shape.

Cave House Museum of Mining & Geology

The Cave House Museum of Mining & Geology is located next to the caverns in the former hotel. The museum features exhibits relating to the cave's geology and formation, along with rock and mineral specimens.

It also presents the history of the cave's discovery and tourism, wildlife found in the cave, and the area's cement industry.

Her i steinrøysa oppunder Totenåsen?

"Coolness started with jazz musicians, and still has something of the spirit of the night, of escape from everyday reality, of unconditioned freedom, of improvisation without a goal. It’s the liberal equivalent of the divine grace that bloweth where it listeth and none can define.

The lives of the saints have enduring interest because they point to something beyond themselves, the lives of the hipsters don’t." – James Kalb

Every state of being is open to liberation because every state of being is none other than liberation itself -- in a distorted form.

This could be seen as our great hope as beings. Every mind-state(1) is connected with our beginningless elingtenment. Every state of mind, no matter how confused, in its free condition(2) is none other than the liberated state. "Good" and "evil" do not exist as separate fields of energy. This means that no one is either too good or too bad for spiritual practice. Anyone who is tickled by the possibility, can engage with their own condition at the level of practice. This is all that is initially required. You simply need to be curious -- to be intrigued by the possibility that you are actually quite well qualified to make a radical shift. In the very moment that you allow this idea to stir you in some way, you stand at a doorway that opens on a tremendous panorama of potential. Every moment is an amazing possibility.

Every "negative" state of mind contains something of the quality of our naturally liberated state. Every thought, every feeling, every sensation or action is enlightenment; but we do not realise it. When you sip a glass of Brunelo; savour a piece of dolcelate; wash the dishes; vacuum the carpet; take a shower; call on a friend; flirt with a new and tantalising person; cook food; make love; go shopping for a suede shirt or silk underwear; or, hit your thumb with a hammer -- enlightenment is there. We are never separated from it. There is no need to look for enlightenment in any other place than where we are.

It is there, unrecognised, in every moment. So, why do we constrict our energies? What prevents us from recognising our enlightenment if it is beginningless and ever-present? How do we discover the stillness of balance, and the vibrant creativity of openness within the same emotional state? In order to find the answers to these questions, we need to gain a deeper understanding of what we are and how we function.

When we suppress our emotions, clearly a quality of balance is being sought. When we risk abandonment to the heights and depths of our feelings, a quality of openness is clearly present.

This is definitely not a matter for intellectual speculation. Thinking does not help at all, in coming to a real understanding of emotions. The intellect is of little or no value in discovering what we are beyond the texture of what we feel. In order to understand what we are, in order to realise our unconditioned nature, we need to become simpler in our approach. We need to discover space.

Space is the quality of experience in which there is no clinging to the content of Mind through the process of attempting to establish reference points: "this and that" are "there", therefore "I" am "here", in distinction to "this and that". Space is the dimension of our existence in which there is no attempt to artificially divide "self" and "other". There is also no loss of presence into an experience of "everything is one".

As soon as the idea of space is discussed, paradox arises. This is unavoidable. However, there is no need to be too perplexed by extraordinary definitions. At this point it would be better to envisage space as "lack of pressure" or "absence of neurotic speed". All that is needed is the sense in which space is a quality that we have quite naturally. It could be equated with a feeling of being completely relaxed in all aspects of our being; yet very awake and alive -- a sense of having all the time and room we need to do or be anything in any moment, without fear or confusion. You could say that space was simply feeling natural and happy in your own skin.

We need to allow space for our experience to be precisely what it is. This may seem mystifying, unless we take the time to question the nature of our experience. But how can we do that, and what would we find if we try to examine our own experience? Maybe this would be a good point to experiment with experience.

exercise

just sit where you are / feel what it is like to be you / try not to put words to what you feel / just sit with what you feel, and see what happens / see if you can find what is there beyond the desire to attach words and ideas to what the feeling is like / see if you can see, hear, smell, taste or touch what you are / try everything you can in an attempt to sense yourself, apart from thinking about it

If you have tried to examine the nature of your experience in this way, you may have discovered something quite peculiar. You may have discovered that it is impossible to examine the nature of your experience, without the process of intellectual examination also becoming part of your experience. If we look for the nature of experience with the rational mind, we will never find it -- we will only ever dwell within the limitations of the rational mind. The living quality of experience exists only in the present moment. As soon as we analyse it, we become involved in historical research. We may as well have crept off to some chilly archive to examine pictures of sunny days -- when all around us, there was a real sunny day to experience. Maybe there are gin and tonics available on the lawn and delightful parasols beneath which to sit. Maybe there is potted crab, or salmon and cucumber sandwiches with chilled Chablis. Or maybe there is champagne and orange juice. These things are not available in terms of archival research on emotions. That belongs to the tortuous technology of duality.

When we operate in this way, we artificially separate experience into two fields: "perception" and "field of perception". The term "perception" applies to the act of perceiving -- the way in which we register the presence of the world through our sense faculties. The term "field of perception" applies to the world that we perceive. Attempting to establish that our perception and the field of perception are independent creates monstrous confusion. With this divisive logic we distance ourselves analytically from direct experience. Perception and field of perception are inseparable, and when we attempt to separate experience into distinct fields, we lose our "knowing" and end up "knowing about".

Ultimately there is no division between our perception and what we perceive. Our perception and field of perception are mutually self-creating. What we see incites a reaction which influences how we see it. How we view things changes how they are. Enlightened Mind is divisionless. Our perception and field of perception are completely and utterly interconnected, and this fundamental indivisibility is the real nature of experience. So this is the answer to our question: all we find when we attempt to examine the nature of our experience is our dualistically confused commentary on it.

1

"Mind-state" refers to the little-"m" mind (Tib.sem). This is the condition of the conceptual mind, as distinct from the nature of Mind - the large-"M" Mind (Tib. sem-nyid). The nature of Mind is that from which mind-states arise.

2

The "free condition" is that in which patterns are either absent; or, present in a state of unconstrained flux. This is another way of describing the non-dual state, in which form is recognised as emptiness. The free condition is that in which there is no clinging to any kind of reference point; not even the reference point of emptiness.

The girls prepared a PowerPoint presentation titled "Why you should let us adopt a puppy". They have been working & researching for HOURS in their makeshift (& unconditioned) closet/office, keeping it as secret as they could. They borrowed 11 books from the library, they crafted a piggy bank from an ice cream carton to hold funds, they watched videos, they found information from local shelters, & they made lists & charts. They have been asking for a dog since they were little. Always the Mr. said "no". (And mommy, too, who would prefer a cat.) How does your everyday rebellious, freedom fighter, palladin of tranny´s look like?

As you can see he looks somewhat of a crossbreed between an Indian Guru, a part time transvestite and some sort of south american guerilla soldier, ”peiced together as one.” - In fact it is not quite impossible to find this sort of character, facing conflicts wearing tight skirts and matching heels as uniform, firing words of wisdom at will, using sarcasme in ”hit and run” tactics.

The nervous system of a newborn is immature and exhaustion is increased, so his protective inhibition is highly pronounced: he sleeps for a large part of the day. To assess the state of baby’s nervous system, his unconditioned reflexes are studied first of all. Many reflexes of the newborns and babies at the age of 3 months old are called primitive because of the immature nervous system. We offer some study methods of inherent baby reflexes in today’s article: developachild.net/newborn-baby-reflexes-study-methods/

When we draw down the power and depth of vastness into a single perception, then we are discovering and invoking magic. By magic, we do not mean unnatural power over the phenomenal world but rather the discovery of innate or primordial wisdom in the world as it is. The wisdom we are discovering is wisdom without beginning, something naturally wise, the wisdom of the cosmic mirror. In Tibetan, this magical quality of existence, or natural wisdom, is called drala. Dra means "enemy" or "opponent," and la means "above." So drala literally means "above the enemy." Drala is the unconditioned wisdom and power of the world that are beyond any dualism; therefore, drala is above any enemy or conflict. It is wisdom beyond aggression. It is the self-existing wisdom and power of the cosmic mirror that are reflected both in us and in our world of perception.

One of the key points in discovering drala principle is realizing that your own wisdom as a human being is not separate from the power of things as they are. They are both reflections of the unconditioned wisdom of the cosmic mirror. Therefore, there is no fundamental separation or duality between you and your world. When you can experience those two things together, as one, so to speak, then you have access to tremendous vision and power in the world---you find that they are inherently connected to your own vision, your own being. That is discovering magic. We are not talking here about an intellectual revelation; we are speaking of actual experience. We are talking about how to actually perceive reality. The discovery of drala may come as an extraordinary smell, a fantastic sound, a vivid color, an unusual taste. Any perception can connect us to reality properly and fully. What we see doesn't have to be pretty, particularly; we can appreciate anything that exists. There is some priciple of magic in everything, some living quality. Something living, something real, is taking place in everything.

When we see things as they are, they make sense to us: the way leaves move when they are blown by the wind, the way rocks get wet when there are snowflakes sitting on them. We see how things display their harmony and their chaos at the same time. So we are never limited by beauty alone, but we appreciate all sides of reality properly.

Many stories and poems written for children describe the experience of invoking the magic of a simple perception. One example is "Waiting at the Window" from Now We Are Six, by A. A. Milne. It is a poem about spending several hours on a rainy day looking out the window, watching drops of water come down and make patterns on the glass. Reading this poem, you see the window, the rainy day, and the child with his face pressed to the glass watching the raindrops, and you feel the child's sense of delight and wonder. The poems of Robert Louis Stevenson in A Child's Garden of Verses have a similar quality of using very ordinary experiences to communicate the depth of perception. The poems "My Shadow," "My Kingdom," and "Armies in the Fire" exemplify this. The fundamental vastness of the world cannot be expressed directly in words, but in children's literature, very often it is possible to express that vastness in simplicity.

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery is another wonderful example of literature that evokes the sense of ordinary, or elemental, magic. At one point in this story, the little prince meets a fox. The prince is very lonely and wants the fox to play with him, but the fox says that he cannot play unless he is tamed. The little prince asks the meaning of the word tame. The fox explains that it means "to establish ties" in such a way that the fox will become unique to the little prince and prince unique to the fox. Later, after the fox has been tamed and the little prince must leave him, the fox also tells the prince what he calls "my secret, a very simple secret," which is, "it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye."

Saint Exupery has a different vocabulary here for describing the discovery of magic, or drala, but the experience is basically the same. Discovering drala is indeed to establish ties to your world, so that each perception becomes unique. It is to see with the heart, so that what is invisible to the eye becomes visible as the living magic of reality. There may be thousands or billions of perceptions, but they are still one. If you see one candle, you know exactly what all the candles in the whole world look like. They are all made out of fire, flame. Seeing one drop of water can be seeing all water.

Drala could almost be called an entity. It is not quite on the level of a god or gods, but it is an individual strength that does exist. Therefore, we not only speak of drala principle, but we speak of meeting the "dralas." The dralas are the elements of reality---water of water, fire of fire, earth of earth---anything that connects you with the elemental quality of reality, anything that reminds you of the depth of perception. There are dralas in the rocks or the trees or the mountains or a snowflake or a clod of dirt. Whatever is there, whatever you come across in your life, those are the dralas of reality. When you make that connection with the elemental quality of the world, you are meeting dralas on the spot; at that point, you are meeting them. That is the basic existence of which all human beings are capable. We always have possibilities of discovering magic. Whether it is medieval times or the twentieth century, the possibility of magic is always there.

A particular example of meeting drala, in my personal experience, is flower arranging. Whatever branches you find, none of them is rejected as ugly. They can always be included. You have to see their place in the situation; that is the key point. So you never reject anything. That is how to make a connection with the dralas of reality.

Drala energy is like the sun. If you look in the sky, the sun is there. By looking at it, you don't produce a new sun. You may feel that you created or made today's sun by looking at it, but the sun is eternally there. When you discover the sun in the sky, you begin to communicate with it. Your eyes begin to relate with the light of the sun. In the same way, drala principle is always there. Whether you care to communicate with it or not, the magical strength and wisdom of reality are always there. That wisdom abides in the cosmic mirror. By relaxing the mind, you can reconnect with that primordial, original ground, which is completely pure and simple. Out of that, through the medium of your perceptions, you can discover magic, or drala. You actually can connect your own intrinsic wisdom with a sense of greater wisdom or vision beyond you.

You might think that something extraordinary will happen to you when you discover magic. Something extra-ordinary does happen. You simply find yourself in the realm of utter reality, complete and thorough reality.

Every now and then, it is good to remember.

Dedicated to my grandpa Guerrino, who didn't travel to the US but fought the war here and in Africa, and to my granny Pina, who dedicated her life to please us all. Both in life and death, they would have deserved a hell of a lot more. All the good things that I will ever accomplish in my life are the offspring of their unconditioned love.

I took the picture last year at Ellis Island National Monument, in NYC. Since it is a jpg I couldn't tone map it, so I resorted to the good old gimp. It consists of two layers: a bottom one with a very dark and contrasting b&w conversion (achieved via channel mixer) and a top layer with the color image set to dodge. Then I masked part of the top layer to let the b&w below emerge and added the black frame. Finally, I burned here and there the b&w layer to (try to) give it more depth and roughness.

The noise is wanted :-)

The only way to save the planet

April 17th, 2012

Master always feels there are so much in mind to say, sitting before the computer, but would like to say nothing, because too much have been said before.

There is a sound in mind,” Another day has gone away, and another day has been cut from the effective time dedicated to humankind.

Master is doing his best, and Master has already made his utmost efforts. However, it is too hard to awaken living beings. Guiding living beings to invert mind to kindness and invert mind to inner self true nature is much too difficult.

The consequence would be unimaginably disastrous if we still don’t invert our minds.

Let us look at the comprehensive diagnosis and assessment of the Earth given by Universe.

1. Energy and resource problem demands to be adjusted at once.

2. Energy field problem demands to be adjusted at once.

3. Geomagnetic field problem demands immediate adjustment.

4. Ecological environmental protection problem demands immediate adjustment.

5. Over-population problem demands immediate adjustment.

6. Rescuing and releasing problem need to be adjusted and solved at once.

7. Connection problem among Heaven, Earth and Human needs to be adjusted and solved at once.

8. Earth balance problem needs to be adjusted and solved at once.

9. Violation against laws problem needs to be adjusted and solved at once.

10. Social operation problem needs to be adjusted and solved at and once.

The ten problems above are the foremost serious demanded to be adjusted and solved. If those issues could not be treated properly and quickly, the results must be too dreadful to contemplate.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of energy and resource problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of energy field problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of geomagnetic field problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of ecological environmental protection problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of over-population problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of rescuing and releasing problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of connection problem among Heaven, Earth and Human.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of earth balance problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of violation against laws problem.

Many stars and planets in the universe have been destroyed because of social operation problem.

These precedents in the cosmic operation are not rare at all. Too much miserable lessons there were, and too much precedential warnings.

We should actively face, calmly handle, ingeniously adjust and wisely solve them.

We cannot sink deeper and deeper.

We cannot burn our boats.

We cannot drain the pond to catch fish.

We cannot stop thirstiness by drinking poisons.

We cannot allay hunger by cutting flesh.

We cannot be shortsighted and improvident.

We cannot be too eager for quick success and instant benefits.

We cannot violate science.

We cannot go against rules.

We cannot perform against the Way.

We cannot self-destruct homeland.

We cannot self-destroy fertile lands.

We cannot self-destroy pure waters.

We cannot self-destroy green mountains.

We cannot self-destroy blue skies.

We cannot self-destroy white clouds.

We cannot self-ruin natural ecology.

We cannot self-ruin health.

We cannot self-destroy Earth.

We should awaken:

“Love Earth, Love Nature, Love beings, Love human, Love societies, Love nation, Love self, Love everything.”

Yes, Love everything. Love exactly needs never destroying.

Yes, Love everything. Love definitely demands utmost care.

Yes, Love everything. Love definitely demands performing according to the Way.

Yes, Love everything. Love definitely demands scientific development.

Yes, Love everything. Love definitely demands sustainable development.

Yes, Love everything. Love definitely demands balanced development.

Yes, Love everything. Love means helping them to purify.

Yes, Love everything. Love means helping them to promote.

Yes, Love everything. Love means helping them to accomplish.

Yes, Love everything. Love means helping them to return to cosmic original home.

We need to understand true love.

We need to know what true love is.

Love is dedication, non-ego dedication.

Love is illumination, pure illumination.

Love is rule, unconditioned rule.

Because we, living beings and Buddhas are ALL ONE, it doesn’t need any reason for our love.

Since living beings are ONE, we shall not continue to fight against each other and engage in internal strife.

All things including sun, moon, stars, mountains, each flower and each leaf, stone and sand are one WHOLE with us.

Both Universe and we are original ONE.

Both Nature and we are original ONE.

I am the Universe, and the Universe is me.

Let all delusions, discriminations and attachments go off your mind and harmoniously integrate with the Universe, just like a drop of water entering into oceans.

Intermingle with Universe in such ways, non-self, unconditioned, no desires, no seeking, pure and serene, equal and enlightened.

It is high time to restore origin after experiencing all things supposed to be experienced.

It is high time to return original homeland after going through all things supposed to be gone through.

It is high time to change mind and embark on return journey after undergoing all things supposed to be suffered.

Await your good news!

Bless you all every moment!

Mother

A bliss of solitude in this tough world,

An oasis of love in the desert of calculated fondness

A wall of protection against all the hardness and obstacles in our path..

If unconditioned love exists , it is the love bestowed by a mother on her child...

Love u mom and wishing a Happy Mothers day to all the moms in the world ... :)

Picture of my mom taken at VUDA Park , Vizag

A new version of a previous shot in my photostream with the blue cast removed [thank you for the suggestion, Simon!]

Since my daughter returned to school and my evening show finished, I haven't had the opportunity to go out and take any pictures. It would appear that my new role in life is as full-time househusband, which is fine [I'm really enjoying the extra time with my daughter. No, really.] but I am missing photography and all that getting a good picture entails: the preparation, the choosing of a destination, the long walk and reaching the destination only to realise that you've left the bloody battery at home.

This evening, at my wit's end after a day staring at a computer screen having achieved nothing more than a new high score on Chuckie Egg, I decided to take advantage of the glorious, early evening light to go out and get some shots!

I was so excited. I decided that I would try the Clwydian Range again because it's relatively close and in this light there would be some spectacular views. My camera eye was salivating.

Of course, by the time I reached the car park at the base[ish] of Moel Famau the sky had gone back to that uniform shade of blotchy grey that it's been specialising in all summer, and all of that lovely, golden light had been soaked up.

Drat!

It didn't stop me from hauling my fat ass up the side of the hill. It's more a baby mountain than a hill. 554m and the highest peak in the Clwydian Range. It felt at least 10 x that to my unconditioned body. That tripod that felt so light and portable in the blinking camera shop now felt like it was made out of collapsed stars.

Got to the top, though. Woo hoo!

Here's the photographic proof.

Visitors from foreign climes will criticise the dull colours and the uninteresting sky.

Welcome to North Wales.

Messages from Osifu:Be a Real Practitioner

October 25th, 2011

Recently Osifu gives teachings every three other days, and it will be adjusted to every seven other days at some spatiotemporal stage in the future. Osifu’s Teachings Assemblies are getting less and less.

Osifu has been talking too much since the establishment of online ashram in 2008.

Osifu always has a habit of taking notes. But he is so busy this year and everything is moving so fast that even no time can be used to take notes. Yesterday Osifu had some spare time and decided to make up the diary, but seeing that the notebook had no space for notes at all.

Osifu bought a new notebook at yesterday afternoon and typeset in advance by every two days in one page since the date of Sep. 1st, 2011.

Starting from the date of Sep. 1st Osifu finished the notebook typesetting in one breath till it arrived at the last page, and it was coincidently used up by the date of Dec. 31st, 2012.

The notebook will take records just right till Dec.31 2011. What a coincidence! There can be a coincidence anywhere!

But we should not be too much fear if any disasters will happen in 2012 or it may be the end of the world. Fear or worries are the negative energy, negative information and negative secret code. All of you don’t need to worry about the disasters and a real practitioner will always be free from misfortunes and always turns bad luck into good!

Yes, a real practitioner will always be free from misfortunes and always turns bad luck into good!

Falling into a Jade Plate

The light from the Cosmic Center has settled in the higher Heaven.

It drifts and floats down to the earth moistening the mundane land.

Mind light has transformed into endless speeches.

The larger and smaller pearls are falling into a jade plate.

To avoid waste, vaccines must be transported and stored within a narrow temperature range. Vaccines carriers provide temperature-controlled vaccine distribution and storage using ice packs or cold water packs.

PATH is designing and testing phase-change liners that fit into standard vaccine carriers. These liners filled with phase-change material have the potential to prevent freeze damage of cold-sensitive vaccines, which can result from exposure to unconditioned ice packs and to extended hold-over time.

PATH is retrofitting vaccine carriers that have been prequalified by the World Health Organization’s Performance, Quality, and Safety program.

Do not cling to theurgy and telepathy which many so-called ‘superiors’were trapped into. Even do not cling to who you are, whether is Buddha、Bodhisattva、Arhat or God. It is too dangerous !

Do not cling to 'Invisible channeling '。Every message needs to be identified and every invisible channeling to be verified.

Everything is the test whether it is from Buddha's or devil's.

The only way to get through is to make your heart unmoving.

Everything is the test from whether it is from gods or ghosts.

The only way to get through is to make your heart unmoving.

Disciples!

Please learn by heart:

Everything is illusory and everything is the test.

How to get through the test?

Keeping heart unmoving,Keeping heart unmoving, still Keeping heart unmoving,

It's the only way.

It's the wisdom of the old.

It's the wisdom of Master.

It's the wisdom of the Cosmos.

Facing with all kinds of temptation, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving.

Facing with all kinds of interference, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of tests ,you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of hardship ,you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of obstacles, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of karmic obstacles, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of attack, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of slander, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of the evil devils, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

Facing with all kinds of Tirthika, you could get through while keeping heart unmoving

You could get through while keeping heart unmoving.

You will be trapped into the karma while not keeping heart unmoving.

Keep heart unmoving and you will reach the end.

Keep heart unmoving and you will be delighted to reach the end.

As Master often says, to keep heart unmoving is the supreme wisdom.

Today, the precious secrets of the cosmos will be dedicated to you once more.

Largest Dharma Treasure, Shurangama Mantra, has been given you for a long time.

Hope you cherish it and Shurangama must be read no less than three times a day and lasted forever. High-frequency energy activated by Shurangama Mantra is incredible .

The most important course for us is enchanting and holding on Shurangama during the cultivation process, which is a core course of compulsory courses. Do not slack off! Do not lose drive!

Bless all of you at any time. Do not deviate from the right way!

Do not hang on theurgy and telepathy! Do not attach to who you are and where you come from! Do not call forth arrogant mind !

Master is an ordinary person, so are you.

Master is an ordinary Journeyer, so are you.

Master is a person who obeys the law, so are you.

Master is a person who loves our people and country, so are you.

Master is an unselfish dedicator, so are you.

Master is a person benefiting who benefits others ,so are you.

Master is a person awaking who awakes others ,so are you.

Master is a person saving who saves others ,so are you.

Master is a person who follows the Mahayana way of the bodhisattvas , so are you.

Master is a person who is non-ego and unconditioned, so are you.

Master is a person who performs as the principles of universe does, so are you.

Master is a person who brings happiness to all sentient beings, so are you.

Master is a person who brings bliss to all sentient beings, so are you.

Master is a flash from the center of the cosmos, so are you.

Master is a group of energy 、information and code from the center of the cosmos, so are you.

Yes, we are just one whole.

Yes, we are just the same source.

Yes, we are just one family.

Yes, we are just one .

Yes, we are just the same heart.

It is delusion, respective mind and insistence that separates us so that we have to suffer birth and death. If abandoning them, we will go back to the center of the cosmos, being Nirvana, no birth and no death, always being in the Ultimate Bliss .

Expecting......
